Sad Rover wouldn’t let me tip higher! We love Jennifer! We have used her for both over night boarding and daycare service. She has been great about sending pictures and updates. Our boys always come home tired for days! Can’t wait to use her again :)

About: I've taken care of furbabies for over 20 years now. Dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, rabbits. My neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to care for their furbaby family members by not only walking and feeding their family member, but boarding, washing and grooming, and lots of fun playtime. I've been trained by a veterinarian to administer Sub Q fluids for emergency needs. I'm knowledgeable in surgery recovery as well. I will care for, and love, your family member just as I do mine. They will be pampered and cherished! I am a homemaker, looking for a bit of extra money, and an enjoyable job. I have flexible hours to help anyone with their pets. I am responsible, courteous, punctual, and a very loving person, and cat owner. I love all animals, and would love to help you out. Ask me questions if you'd like to know more about me. Please consider me for your pet care needs! I am a very careful, and respectful person. I will adhere to any instructions for your pet. I have two available bedrooms that I can make available to your pet when needed during their stay. Crate trained pets are a plus, but not a must. I have been trained by a veterinarian to administer Sub Q fluids in case of an emergency. I've given them to ferrets, and cats of my own. I'm reliable, and always on time.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for years and truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. As a longtime equestrian, I gained valuable experience caring for horses, which taught me responsibility, patience, and confidence in handling animals with different temperaments. In addition to caring for horses, I’ve lived with and cared for two cats over the past two years and have experience looking after multiple dogs and puppies. Last year, I house sat for a family with a very energetic dog, making sure they got plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and companionship while their owners were away. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand how important routines are, so I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions if needed, and any special requests to help your pet feel comfortable and secure. Whether your pet loves adventures, playtime, or quiet companionship, my goal is to provide dependable, loving care and give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy and naturally make time for in my routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable care, whether that’s walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, or overnight stays. Since I already care for my own cats every day, pet care is a regular part of my life, and I love spending time with animals whenever I can. I’m committed to being dependable, attentive, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their family is away. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I understand that pets feel most secure in familiar surroundings, so I make sure to follow their normal schedule for meals, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and any specific instructions from their owners. I also provide plenty of attention, affection, and companionship while making sure their home is respected and cared for. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I always take the time to learn each pet’s personality, needs, and preferences so they receive personalized care. My goal is to make every pet feel loved and cared for while giving owners peace of mind that their furry family member is in good hands.

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. My friends all call me to watch their precious pups when they go out of town. I love to spend time with all animals, playing with the dogs, petting the cats, feeding the reptiles, the list goes on. I have cared for animals in all walks of life, from babies, puppies to senior animals. I love taking them for a walk around the neighborhood, chilling and watching a movie together, throwing the ball in the backyard. I do work part time, however I get to make my own schedule. My schedule is very flexible for your animal needs. Pet care is a passion of mine. I can easily take your pet on walks, outside to use the potty, or even play some tug of war with them. I know some pets stick to a special diet for feeding and/or treats and I can stick to their routine or special needs.

My cat visited Raquel for daycare and had a wonderful experience! She got plenty of attention, and you can tell Raquel really cares for all animals. I was sent photos throughout the day of mealtime and playtime and got regular updates, and knew my girl was being well cared for! Communication was excellent and everything went smoothly. Would recommend!

Ash did a great job with our Schnauzer, Jack. She walked him regularly, made homemade treats for him and let him chill on her sofa. This was wonderful while we spent the day with great friends and was a great comfort to us, knowing that Jack was safe and happy. Highly recommend. Call Ash.

We did our meet and greet last week with Jaylin and Charles and they were so kind and compassionate. Our sweet Oakley is a 6 month old rescue and super scared of people, noises and dogs. They made us feel so welcome. Today we took him back for his first daycare and she sent pictures of Charles hold him and him with another dog! I was so surprised that he opened up to them that quickly. You can tell their love of animals as soon as you meet them! Can't wait to have their help in socializing him and making him more confident and trusting. So glad we found them! Thanks to you both!

About: We're Jen and Matt, and we'd love to care for your furry family member while you're away. As pet parents ourselves, we know how important it is to find someone you can trust. Because we both work from home, your pet won't be left alone for long periods of time. They'll receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Our home features a secure, fully fenced one-acre yard where dogs can safely run, explore, and burn off energy. We also have two playful, friendly dogs who love making new friends and help create a fun, social environment. If your pup prefers individual attention, we're happy to accommodate that as well. Whether your dog loves to play, cuddle, explore, or simply relax on the couch, we tailor every stay to their personality and routine so they feel comfortable and at home. **Please read full profile before booking** Requirement for pets: - up to date on vaccinations and able to show proof. - up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medicine. Our own pets receive monthly preventative flea medications, are regularly groomed, and we maintain a very clean home. Every dog is checked upon arrival. If fleas are discovered, your pet will need to be picked up immediately to protect all animals in our care. ATTENTION * If your pet is… - not dog friendly - not people friendly - food aggressive - or has extreme separation anxiety And you are aware of any of these things, they need to be told to me at time of booking. Just because one of these is the case does not mean they will be turned away, but it does mean I’ll need to prepare for special accommodations such as not accepting other bookings for your dogs dates to avoid complications. What to bring for your pets stay? - Your pets food - Any daily medications - Any special special comfort items they like Why Pets love staying with us: Constant companionship since we both work from home Large fully fenced yard Free roam outside and inside home while supervised Walks in safe neighborhood based on your dogs needs Fresh water available at all times inside and outside Lots of pets, snuggles and couch time Light household training and etiquette Our Promise: Every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. Whether your pup is energetic, shy, young, or a senior, we take the time to learn what makes them feel safe and happy. We're not just watching your dog—we're welcoming them into our family. Our goal is for you to pick up a happy, tired, loved pup who's excited to come back again. We can't wait to meet you and your best friend! I am currently working full time 8am-5pm remotely from my home which gives me freedom to be flexible and available to your pets needs. I have a fully fenced large yard with two friendly pups to keep your dog company. With drop in visits, you can expect a consistent routine filled with yummy treats, walks and cuddles. Overall, you can expect for your pet to have a safe, fun and loving experience for your sweet pup.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been something I truly enjoy. I’ve owned dogs for over 15 years, helped raise multiple litters of puppies, and have experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. One of my proudest experiences was nursing my own puppy through parvo. It was challenging, but seeing him slowly recover only strengthened my passion for caring for animals. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply having someone around, i’ll make sure they feel safe and loved. I’ll always treat your pet as one of my own 🫶🏻 I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so i’ll always send plenty of photos and updates to give you peace of mind while you’re your away. I’m currently working from home and have very flexible hours, so whenever you need me, i’m free! Weekdays, weekends, mornings and evenings, i’ll be there! My favorite thing to do is go on long walks and rides with my pup! I live in an apartment with my sweet senior dachshund. She’s a very calm and friendly spirit and would make the perfect friend, she gets along with other dogs well. Food and water is always available and I also have a crate if needed. We go on walks and car rides often, and accidents are always okay.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your White Plains commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 470 sitters in White Plains, 85% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
