About: I have always been an animal lover! I always have to stop and pet when I see them. I have often pet sat/boarded our neighbors animals for weeks even. I love all animals! I am currently a stay at home mom so I have extra time to come walk your pets, sit with them, or even for them to come stay with me I am home all day. At my home pets are always on leash and walked on grass/sidewalk. Can be kept in a separate area if requested! Clients home is based on clients wishes (backyard/dog park/sidewalk). I also have 3 loving dogs and 2 cats that stay with me currently!

About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.

About: Ever since I was born I had an animal right by my side . I have learned to take care of animals and provide for them. I have taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets in the past. I also have worked at a dog daycare called tail chasers so I have experience with big dog groups. I’m good with cats as well . I’m experienced with walking multiple dogs at a time because I got 3 myself. I’m currently working 3:30 am to 12:00 pm so I will have plenty time to spend with your animals. I’m free on the weekends as well . Willing to come to your place to house sit and take care of your animals. I have done that in the past for people. Willing to also stop by and give water, food and walks with some play time on the side .

About: I have previously worked with Flying Fur, a doggy daycare and boarding service located in Newport, VA. Here, I gained experience working with various breeds and temperaments, and I would be happy to help you with your animal while you are away. In high school, I took small animal care as well as vet science, and have interacted with several of the therapy dogs on Radford University Campus. I am currently a college student working part-time, and I’d love to help care for your pet on my free time!! I am free weekly in the mornings and evenings! Can’t wait to meet your pets! During the walks, I allow the dogs to go at their own pace to get a sense of security with me and I love to reward them if they are doing good!

About: I’ve helped my mom pet sit her German shepherd for a year and I handled it well. I learned how to feed him properly and took care of him responsibly. I will be mostly available in the afternoon. Once school start, I will be mostly available during the weekends. Feel free to check with me on availability otherwise. I make sure to walk my dog at least three times a day and feed him the right amount of food at least two times a day. I will make sure to respect others when taking him outside and stop any improper behavior in time. I regularly buy him treats and toys.

About: I have taken care of dogs within my household for 15 years now, with the additional walking & house sitting for neighbors! I recently started pet walking & sitting in Blacksburg this year and have had such a blast! As an incoming vet student this fall, I will bring an expertise and view that will be beneficial for the pet in their environment and for the owners. I am so motivated to support owners with their schedules by sitting or walking! I’m currently working part-time throughout the summer, and have time within the day to complete walks for your pets! I am also available to pet sit in-home for you if needed; preferably not Monday-Wednesday, but I am flexible! I always start off my sessions with building a connection with the pet prior. If possible, I like to meet prior to needing my services to socialize myself with the pet, so that trust can be gained. Once this is done, I love to play with the pets and cuddle them so that they feel secure! I love taking photos of the pets during walks to send to the owners, as this reassures them!

About: I’ve had several pets in my household ever since I was young. I’ve always taken care of them, and have been relied on to pet sit for neighbors, family, and friends. I’ve also trained each of my pups in the house, such as the commands sit, lay down, stay, come, paw, roll over, and many more. One of my favorite experiences was taking care of a house full of pets for about a week that consisted of 9 cats, 5 dogs, and even a rabbit! I’m a full time student at Virginia tech and can care for your pets anytime I’m not in class! Lots of my classes are online. I can guarantee a safe environment for your furry friends. I’ve had plenty of experience with dog walking, even the most aggressive of dogs. I’m able to secure your pet in a crate if needed, and any other safety measures you may need!

About: I was responsible for caring for my childhood senior dog. She was a small chihuahua mix that I was responsible for walking, feeding and giving oral medications. I also cared for a family friend’s two German Shorthaired Pointer’s for a week. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, crating and administering oral medications! I currently work full-time but have a flexible schedule that allows me to check-in on pets during the morning and evening. However, I can provide longer check-ins during the weekend and have no standing/recurring commitments during the weekend. As someone who has owned pets before, I am well aware of the safety precautions needed. I make sure that my home is pet-proof by making sure my plants are out of reach and any dangerous chemicals. I also have experience with crating dogs.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since middle school and have over 7 years of experience with pups and cats of all ages and temperaments. As a landscape architecture student at Virginia Tech, I love spending time outside and staying active—whether that means long walks, hikes, or just backyard playtime. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like my own. I treat every animal with patience, joy, and genuine care. I currently take classes from 8 in the morning until 12 pm, so I am available from 6-7am and 1-6pm M-F and 10am-5pm Saturday and Sunday! I do my best to make your pet feel comfy and cared for, whether I’m hanging out at your place or taking them for a walk. I’ll follow whatever routine you’ve got and use whatever leash or gear you prefer. If your pup needs to be crated at certain times, I’ve got no problem with that—and I’ll make sure they’re settled and relaxed. I’m also comfortable giving meds if needed, just let me know the details :)

About: I'm that person where if you mention you have a dog, I want to meet them! I've been dogsitting since I can remember. With my current job, if my coworkers need a dogsitter, I'm there. They rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pups as if it was my own. I currently work a job where I only work 3-4 days a week and have every weekend off. I'm unavailable on the days I work due to 12 hour shifts, but on my off days I'm available whenever! :) I have a friendly golden retriever pup who can give your furry friend company. I also have a crate upon your request and lots of toys!!

About: I used to help rescue and take care of new born kittens and puppy’s and I’m always sure to treat ever animal with respect and care. Before moving to Blacksburg I lived with my dad. We had a total of 11 cats and 4 dogs. (Ik it’s a lot :p) I love animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. I also have been around farm animals and have took care of chicken, ducks, horses, and goats. I am current a college student but when I’m not in class I will have free time to help anytime that’s needed. I look forward meeting new people and furry friends :) I care for animals with respect and love.
