“Our dogs were so when we pulled up to her driveway, they ran right into her house! Goes to show how much they enjoy spending their time here. Thank you to Marisol for treating them to their own vacation, they loved their stay!”

“Our girl didn't do well in boarding facilities. Someone mentioned Rover to us and we thought we'd give it a try. We're so happy we found Tracy through Rover! Everything from communication, updates, and the care she provided our pooch was perfect and top notch!! It felt like we'd left our girl with a family member whose an animal enthusiast! We didn't worry a single time while we were on vacation. The picture and video updates daily were amazing for peace of mind! There was no doubt that our girl was taken care of. Thank you Tracy!!”

About: There are a lot of dog sitters out there, but what sets me apart from other sitters is, that i have had years of experience with dogs and cats! I can’t wait to take care of all the cute, happy, and tail wagging dogs/cats that this job has to offer. Overall, I am excited to meet new people, personalities, and getting love from my new four-legged friends!! Furthermore, I will never let you or your fur babies down!! Hope to see you soon!! Im currently part-time, so I do have plenty of time to spend with your babies, while you’re away! quality time is so important, and making sure they have everything they need. I do have a fenced in backyard! But leashes and harnesses are still required, just in case. If you’re comfortable, i do let my personal dogs free-range the back yard. I also have a doggy door, that connects to the garage, they can come in and out of, where they have their own space to cool down in the AC.
“Nothing but good things to say about this visit for our Dog. Josie sent updates every day and we could tell our dog had so much fun at their home! She even delivered our dog back to us at end of stay! Amazing experience and we’ll do again!”

“We couldn't have found a better place for our pup to be! Austyn sent daily pictures and updates and our dog loved having such a big fenced in yard to play in! Great experience, will definitely be rebooking with Austyn !”

“Mrs. Lisa was a phenomenal dog sitter. she took both my dogs in when i was in a tricky situation and cared for both my fur babies like her own. Always sent updates and pictures/videos to make me feel like i was there with my babies. she really loved them like they were her own for the short period of time she was with them. 1000/10 would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Brett and Sandra made my two pups feel perfectly at home during there five-night stay. This was my first time leaving Noel, a recent rescue dog, overnight with a sitter, so I was a bit nervous at first. But upon meeting Brett and Sandra, I knew both of my pups were in marvelous hands! The meet and greet with their dog, Jack, was conducted so professionally, and they allowed ample time for my pups to warm up to them and Jack before I departed (okay, maybe ample time for me to say my goodbyes too). I recieved pictures throughout the stay, and Brett and Sandra responded quickly to my messages and were overall great communicators! I highly recommend you choose Brett and Sandra--your pup will have a blast, and you will feel confident that they ate in good hands. Their reviews and experience speak for themselves!”

“We left our two cats with Zoi for almost two weeks to go to Europe. She did an amazing job with them. She provided frequent updates and videos. We had no issues whatsoever. I will use her again for the animals and I highly recommend her.”

“5 stars all the way! Benjamin took care of our senior dog on a recent trip to st simons. She is on tons of meds I clouding eye drops and required a lot of special attention. Benjamin was on top of it and never missed a pill or treatment. He took her on nice walks ans between him and his girlfriend gave her lots of loves and pets. His little dog Millie is super sweet ans friendly and just loved on my Rana too! Even though Rana is shy with other dogs they immediately hit it off and I think the visit was good for her! I will definitely book Benjamin again. Very friendly, professional and responsible!”

About: Like most, I have had dogs my entire life. I have raised them from as little as 6 weeks old, all the way up to the elderly hospice ages. I have raised multiple huskies (very strong pullers), great danes even little pocket sized pups. While fun and stimulation are key to a dogs growth, during my stays/ walks safety is the primary goal. That means minimal or no street crossing if possible during walks, no dog parks, no interactions with other dogs or people (even if they say they know your dog); you will get your dog back exactly how you left them, happy and in perfect health. I am currently working full-time. I have full availability weekends, early weekdatys and nights. If you have any questions, concerns or just anything you would like to go over feel free to reach out. While I have my own way and preferences on how to take care of a pet. Upon meeting I will walk you through my process and everything I will be doing. As the owner, your preferences and style will be given priority over mine during my stay.
“Yvonne was wonderful with Miley! I could tell when I walked in to pick her up that Miley had a good week and was at ease with Yvonne. I appreciated the pictures and updates! I would definitely ask Yvonne to keep Miley again if I had travel plans and she was willing - it was a good experience for Miley and mom!”

“Sydney is very friendly and reliable. She was flexible with the schedule, and perfect location. I am sure Bella had a great time with her. For sure I will ask her to sit my puppy again. Thank you so much Sydney!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their White Oak home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your White Oak.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your White Oak sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
