“My cats were well taken care of and our friendly boy warmed up to Jasen quickly based on the photos we got. We booked kind of last minute during busy holiday times, but Jasen responded quickly and had no problem with the instructions I left him. He even brought in a heavy box of food and litter that came after we left due to holiday delays. We’ll definitely look at booking him again for future travel plans!”

“Emma was great with our kitties. She was able to administer medicine successfully to one of our cats and we were very impressed! She also sent us pictures of them to show they were doing well and everything was going fine. Overall we were very happy with Emma and will be booking her again!”

“Amanda is amazing! I was so apprehensive about finding a random person on an app to come into my home to check my cats while I was gone. But when we had our meet and greet, I instantly felt at ease. Amanda was so sweet and genuine! While I was gone, she kept me updated with pictures of the kitties and how they were doing. When I got home, the house was great and my cats were perfect! Amanda was great with my kitties and they are already ready for her to come back and watch them. She’s the best!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple types of dogs and cats for 30 plus years, as well as having my own. I will give your baby the same care I give mine. I have recently retired and can spend the day caring for and entertaining your fur baby. I am available all day, seven days a week. I will be happy to host your baby in my home and treat them like family. I have a fenced in yard and have one small dog to help keep your baby company. I only watch one family at a time (maximum of two pets) to give your pet the attention it needs.

About: I just love animals! I've been told that I missed my calling as a VET! But, I will take care of your loved ones as if they are my own! We will play and go for walks! They will be comfortable and in a safe space until you return! I have had dogs of my own all my life! They are truly companions and they just want love like we do! So why not love them! I take great joy in walking with them and playing catch! Most dogs are like little humans that cant talk! But they will definitely get their point across. We will be on a schedule of eating and go outside every two hours! They definitely need time to rest as well! I currently work from home and periodically will go into the office and work. I can provide potty break every two hours and most of the time the back door stays open for them to releave their self and enjoy the big fenced in back yard. I treat all animals like they are my children. I need to have eyes on them and know what is happening! They have freedom to roam and also play outside in the back yard!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Whipporwill Ridge. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
