“Taryn was fantastic with our two dogs! Very appreciative she was available last minute to care for them! Will be reaching out to her for future needs!!!”

“This was my first time to use Rover and I had such a great experience with Marinda! She watched my cat while I was away for a few days and she kept me updated with photos and videos on each visit. I recently changed my cats food and he has been iffy with it, but Marinda gave me peace of mind letting me know how he was eating with each drop-in visit. She kept the litter box clean, vacuumed up messy litter, and even washed a few dishes! I could tell my cat Buzz loved playing with her based on the videos she sent. She was always quick to respond and thorough in her updates. I will definitely use her services again and I highly recommend her for your pet!”

“My cat had a wonderful time from Erin's visits while I was on a trip. Erin made sure all of his needs were met each day, and treated him to great play and birdwatching sessions!”

“Nicole was amazing - she graciously stepped in to check in on my cat when my prior sitter canceled the day before I was supposed to leave for my trip. I’m so glad she did, because she’s truly the best sitter I’ve found on Rover. Very kind and gracious - she went above and beyond sending me 7-8 photos each time, a detailed summary, and even some videos! Will definitely be booking with Nicole again. Can’t thank you enough!”

About: With over 50 years of hands-on experience in pet care. I've dedicated my life to understanding and supporting the well-being of animals, especially dogs. For 8 years, I have worked as a veterinary technician, where i gained in-depth medical knowledge and practical skills in animal heath, emergency care and preventative treatment. My background also includes extensive experience in both basic and advanced dog training focusing on obedience, behavior modification and building strong bods between pets and their owners. Over the decades I've cared for animals of all ages, breeds and temperaments - from raising litters of puppies and kittens to providing compassionate support for senior pets. My approach combines patience, consistency and a deep respect and love for every animal's unique personality and needs. Things to consider prior to booking: • Are they friendly with other pets? I have one dog and 3 cats in our home. • Are they able to jump a 5ft fence? • Are they protected against Heartworm, Fleas and Ticks? • Potty Trained? I am happy to help train but just need to know ahead of time. • Up to date on all vaccines? • Big chewers? • Let us know if your pet has any special need or accommodation we should account for! I can accommodate a variety of needs! I am happy to provide whatever care your pet needs & make sure they are happy & comfortable in our home. A few things to know about what I offer: 100% Love and Care I take photos of your pet (I am not a professional photographer) – I will try not to overwhelm you! I do not require a meet and greet but am happy to do so. My preference is to introduce your pet(s) to mine slowly and very controlled environment. SAFETY is my #1 Concern for your pets and for mine. What to bring for your stay: Collar with a tag & leash Food (Label with the amount per meal) - Slow feeder if needed Medications, if needed Kennel (for boarding stays) - Anything to make them comfortable in their kennel (blanket, toys, bed) I generally don’t use a kennel if they are good house guests (no destruction or accidents) they can have house privileges. I will provide: Water Bowls (I have many throughout the house and outside) Foods Bowls Toys - Treats - Chew bones & treats Dog beds around the house (I have many) A Typical Day can be: Wake up and take them out to potty (I have a big, fenced back yard). Feed them breakfast Out for potty about 2 hours (or sooner) after breakfast. Relax, play and/or snooze as they want. Potty breaks are directed by their needs, they let me know they need to potty, and we go outside (I am their servant, and I stay with them while they are outside). They potty and play and then we come in. This goes on all day as needed. Cuddles on command and if they just want to lay around, I’m ok with that as well. I have taken all my dogs (past and present) through many different levels of training session – Puppy, Basic and Advanced. Let me know what you need, and I am happy to help. SPECIAL NOTE with Regard to Cats Cats do their own things and totally dictate their day to day and I respect and honor their wishes! I do have a room set up that they can call their own (if needed) and I have a secure Catio they can hang out in and enjoy fresh air. I am retired and love to help people and their pets. I have lots of free time and want to offer my knowledge and experience to people who have busy lives but want the best for their furbabies. I live on 3/4 acre and I have a large fenced in back yard. I do have a dog and 3 cats at home so any pets that need to be watched at my home need to be able to get along with them. I am dependable and honest and can also take care of your pets in your home. If you need to know anything else, please ask.

“James and Jacob were fantastic with our pups while we were out of town for almost a week. They were always on time, communicative, and always sent a daily update with pup photos. We would highly recommend them for pup care and will absolutely plan to book with them in the future!”

“Jacob did an excellent job. I made a last minute request for someone to drop-in on my dog, Blue. He always responded to my messages promptly. He followed all of my instructions and provided updates with each vist. While Jacob was caring for Blue, I didn't have to worry about anything which is exactly what I needed. My experience was 10/10. I would recommend Jacob for any Rover service you need. In return you will get peace of mind and a happy pet.”

“Chandler was fantastic. She meet every need we and of her, have our furry friends the attention they needed and was a joy to work with. I'm hoping she's available for our next trip! Chandler made fast friends with our cats, even our shy ones, and was wonderfully communicative. We were thankful for her service and grateful that she was able to be so good with our cats.”

“Ella dropped in on my two cats for a week while I was out of town. She sent lots of photos and updates at the same time each day, just like we had discussed during our meet & greet. One of my cats is hesitant with strangers, but Ella was able to bond with him and get him to come out of his hiding spot. She was even kind enough to put a scoop of kibble outside each day for a stray cat who has been hanging around my house. It’s pretty obvious that Ella is an animal lover, and I’ll be happy to hire her again in the future.”

Westwood Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ron is great and SO reliable. I never wonder for even a moment whether he’ll show up as scheduled or care for our dogs as we request. I can see in the photos he takes that the dogs greet him at the door with toys to show off to him — an unmistakable sign that they are happy to see him!

Caitlin was a wonderful pet-sitter and I would use her again for sure. She was lovely with my cat, gave him lots of attention and made sure he had what he needed, and I loved the picture updates. Great communication and response times, and very accommodating regarding key exchange.

Vanessa was wonderful with our cat. We haven't felt comfortable leaving him in a while but we felt comfortable with Vanessa and we were able to take a short trip, knowing he was in good hands. Her communication was great and I would definitely use her again. 🐾

Sophie was wonderful! This was my first time leaving my two cats alone while I went on a family vacation and she made me feel so comfortable leaving them in her care. She played with them, made sure to follow feeding and care instructions and sent plenty of updates and photos. I came home to a clean place and two happy kitties. Can’t compliment her enough!
