About: Hi! I’m deaf, I have a new cochlear implant. I can read lips and signs/speak. I’ve been taking care of my neighbor’s cats while they were on their trip! I’ve feed them, played with them. I’ve cleaned the litter box for a year or so. In the past summer, I’ve stayed the nights and feed the dogs and took them for walks, played with them. I’ve experienced with adult cats and adults/senior dogs. I’m a college student and I’m available for weekdays, weekends, I can stayed the nights one of those days if you planned on going a trip for weeks! I’ll be happily to take care of your pets while you're gone! I have a fenced yard and have two dogs to keep your pet company. I can crate your pet if needed. If something happens, I will let you know and asked what I can do for pets safety. I can take them out for walk or backyard to cool off then give them a treats if they are doing well.

About: I have always loved dogs ever since I was a little girl. I dog sit for a family friend anytime they need me. They continue to ask me to dog sit, so I would say that is a success. I will love your dog like they are one of my own. We will enjoy walks, play time and lots of cuddles. Our best friend is a vet so if any emergency situation should happen, we have an immediate resource. I am currently a stay at home mom so your pet would have lots of attention of activity throughout their stay with us. We have plenty of time and energy for walks and playing outside. Pets that come to our home will be treated like our own. They will get daily activity, walks and outside play. They can easily be crated if that's what they are used to.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid—everything from high-energy pups to shy seniors. I’m calm, patient, and totally in tune with animals’ needs. Friends, family, and neighbors trust me with walking, feeding, bathing, and giving pets the love and attention they deserve. I currently work full time as a nurse, however, I do have a schedule that allows me freedom, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. I’m available for drop-ins and walks during the day & evenings. If your pup needs a quick play break, I’ve got the time and energy to make sure they’re well cared for. I offer a calm, clean, and safe environment where your pet will feel at home. I can crate your dog if needed, follow any feeding/medication routines, and I’m always happy to send updates or photos for peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

About: Our family currently has 8 pets ( 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 1 rabbits.) Inside our family unit pets are a responsibility of love we all take on. This has allowed my children to see the deeper side of what it takes to love an animal. Slowly gaining trust with each pet has become second nature to us. I Grew up my whole life with animals, but personally started caring for pets myself at 16 starting with a ferret. We have walked the road of behavioral issues to old aged pets as well. This year I started pet sitting and decided to continue that journey. Thanks for considering our family to care for your family while you're away. We are a homeschool family which allows our time to be extremely flexible. While we are busy, we are also the only ones dictating our time. So we manage time well and around the families we are helping. Obviously during summer school is out for us and the fun begins. At our home we have a fenced section and an electric fence for our pets that covers 4 acres. If your pet is trained on this type of fence he/she can run the whole yard. If they are not trained on electric fences they can run in our fenced in area attached to the back of our home. Inside that fenced in area is another fence around our unground pool. We are offering doggie swim & splash time in the inground pool. We will also have a baby pool they can jump in. We have 4 dog kennels in our air conditioned/ heated garage for boarding when they are not playing outside. Garage door will be kept shut and only a side locked door will be used to enter in and out of. I will also be getting dog first aid/CPR certified soon. Our vets office is 2 minutes down the road from us as well. I will also be cleaning the kennels between each dog with the same chemicals the vet uses to kill diseases and is safe for animals. Knowing your dogs temperament and personality will help us secure his/her safety and others. We have a questionnaire to help us get to know your pet and it’s needs.

About: I have been around dogs since I was a young kid. I currently have 2 rescue dogs at home and I love spending time with them. I currently am a shift worker who does 12’s. I work a 4/3 split Sunday-Wednesday, having everything other Wednesday off. I my days off I typically do house work, hang out with my dogs and work out. I consider myself a trustworthy dog walker. I understand that all dogs are different and as someone who has a very anxious shelter dog I know walks can be difficult. I am also an avid rule follower and will adhere to any requests you might have on how you want your dog walked.

About: I've had dogs my whole life from small yorkies to big farm dogs. I also, have experience taking care of ailing 13 and 14 year old dogs that need special care. I love any and all dogs!! I'm currently talking summer online college courses, so I have very flexible hours and can work weekdays and weekends. I can do early mornings or evenings. About: I've cared for animals my entire life. Animals in my home are well loved; including baths if requested, exercise, and lots of play! I'm very accommodating. I work full-time from home, mostly on virtual meetings spread throughout the day. I'm up early each day and always ready for a nice walk! My yard is mostly fenced, but dogs would be kept on a leash for safety. Pets are welcome to sleep on any furniture. Food and water is available at all times in the kitchen.

About: I have never pet sat before however I have owned and taken care of dogs, cats, fish, birds, and a rabbit I love animals and can’t wait to meet yours. I am 18 years old and a senior at New Albany High School. I work at Starbucks inside target however am looking to pick something up on the side I am very flexible and willing to work with you. As a young lady I am very safe meaning locking doors behind me and carrying pepper spray. I will make sure to protect the house and pets while sitting or going on a walk.

About: I’ve cared for my bulldog at home for many years now and make frequent visits to my grandmothers house to help her take care of her beagles. I have always had a passion to make animals specifically dogs time on earth the best it can be. I know they are incredibly misunderstood and no matter the animal, I have always found a way to get along with the fur baby. On days I don’t work, it would be amazing to get the opportunity to do this as to me it’s not considered a job Make them feel comfortable and let them know that you are there for them. Have patience as each animal is different and requires a unique but understanding approach.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I have also volunteered with local shelters for many years. I am always thrilled when friends and family ask me to help out with their pets because dogs are the real happiness in the world. I have a very flexible schedule so I can offer my services at pretty much any point during the day. I have open availability throughout the week. I have a black lab/Great Pyrenees mix so I definitely love big dogs. My girl loves other dogs and we typically do walks around town at least 3 times per day. I try to keep both myself and my dog in decent shape so we can do as long a walk as she wants to do.

About: I have taken care and had animals in my home for around 19 years now. I absolutely love animals, I love taking care of them and playing with them on a daily basis. I am willing to take care of your pet in every single way possible.:) I work at target part time, so my schedule ranges from 7:30 AM in the morning to around three or four in the afternoon. I’m a big morning person, so I am able to get up earlier than my scheduled shift time and take care of animals. As well, I am able to take care of them after my shifts and even dedicate more of my time to them on my off days. unfortunately, my yard does not have a fence, however, we do have a pretty spacious backyard and I am able to keep an eye on them and play with them all throughout their outside experience.

About: My husband and I have had dogs our entire life both big and small. We currently have a medium dog who is a dream to walk, and a large dog who walks us but we love both just the same! We would love to host your fur baby at our house or drop in just to give them some love! We have 2 kids who have been raised around animals. Our normal attire is dog hair so we’re not afraid of some shedding. We haven’t been able to stretch our legs out in our bed in 10 years because no matter how comfy our dogs bed is they always end up on ours so we don’t mind if they are on our furniture or bed!
