About: I have watched beloved family pets for many friends and family during my life time. Being an animal lover myself, I know that your pets are family and I make sure to treat them as such! Growing up with family dogs and cats, and currently our funky boxer dog Rufus, I know what it takes to be a successful animal sitter and how much love they need. I work a full time job, from 9-4:30 pm Monday-Friday with the exception of one remote day on Wednesdays. Most pets are used to this schedule. I will ensure they will have potty breaks first thing in the morning, during my lunch break at 1, and then once I return to the home at 5. And then several throughout the evening and before bed. I will care for your pet in the environment they feel the safest in… your home. By allowing your animal to remain at home, it eases their stress and anxiety and gives them a comforting feel of familiarity. No need to pack up enough food and treats for the week. I will be happy to follow your thorough instructions on how to care for your pet.

I’ve volunteered at the Wabash animal shelter, spent years riding horses, and gained hands‑on experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Mylo, who struggles with anxiety, has taught me a lot about de‑escalating reactivity and building trust through positive reinforcement. He also takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable administering meds and following specific care routines. Mylo likes to think of it as his “evening treat with extra steps.” Over the past several years, I’ve pet‑sat for friends, family, and their extended circles. This has allowed me to care for pets of all ages and ranging needs. No matter the temperament, I adapt to each animal’s personality, mood, and boundaries.
