There is 24/7 supervision for all pets boarding or utilizing day care services. Luxury elevated bedding is provided for resting, sleeping and recharging. After college, I gained even more professional experience beginning as a Kennel Technician before becoming a Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Surgical Technician, and eventually the Clinic Manager. After I left private veterinary practice to pursue a career in animal rescue, I served as the Manager of a successful nonprofit dog rescue. In this role, I coordinated with shelters, fosters, and adopters all while caring for 30 dogs per day and serving the public in order to rehome over 500 dogs per year. As part of my daily duties, I also arranged their veterinary care and monitored their recovery and overall wellbeing. When my own senior dogs required more care and medical attention, I pivoted to remote work with an in-home veterinary hospice service. In this role, I received emergency assessment training for many species in order to help pet parents ascertain if their pet needed emergency medical assistance. This afforded me the opportunity to hone my instincts about what constitutes an emergency, what to do in an emergency, and, more importantly, how to prevent emergencies. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to pets and animal welfare. I am always seeking out opportunities for continuing education, such as attending the Humane Society’s annual animal welfare conference or completing an apprenticeship at Austin Pets Alive!, or binge-watching animal training tutorials. In my personal life, I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles and amphibians as pets ever since I was a child. As an adult, I was privileged to adopt a special needs dog named Fizzgig, who introduced me to the rewarding experience of caring for seniors. He changed my life and my heart forever, not to mention my career path. Since Fizz, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two other senior / special needs rescue dogs of my own, as well as fostering numerous seniors and special needs dogs. For vacation care, I generally prefer to schedule a minimum of three potty breaks a day not only to ensure your pet’s comfort, exercise, and stimulation, but also to preserve the dignity of your home. Being a multiple dog household I cannot board any dog with same sex aggression, human aggression, or idiopathic aggression, and reactive dogs will be a case by case bases, However, being a trainer I am more than open to help families work through these issues. About: I've been taking care of dogs since my freshman year of highschool. I am intuitive and caring. I work from home and can keep a constant watch on your furry friends. Work from home between 10:00 AM and 6:30 PM. I am off Wednesday and Sunday. I normally take my dogs out three times a day at least but four is the regular. I care for my furry friends. Both of my dogs are rescues and i've taught them many commands. I have experience with male dogs that are not neutered as well as female dogs in heat.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have even taken care of cats, ducks, dogs, and fish. I have also grown up staying on a farm on the weekends, so I am very familiar with most species. I intend to also pursue a career in environmental law to help protect the animals worldwide and their environment. I have so far taken care of dogs ranging from a 2 pound puppy to 3 labs. I am currently off to the summer with not much to do and will be free mostly everyday. I wake up around 9-10 naturally, but can wake up earlier if needed. I typically try to sleep around 10 but usually end up sleeping around midnight. I have a fenced in backyard in a residential neighborhood with a toy poodle who loves to play with animal animal. He works well with small and big dogs as he’s very gentle. Our dogs usually run free and sleep wherever. I can crate a dog if needed.

About: My fiancé and I are big dog lovers. Drew has been around dogs for many years as he worked on a glacier in Alaska and ran sled dogs. Today, we have a chocolate lab and love taking care of him. We both work full-time so this allows us to love extra on your dog during the weekend for your getaway! Dutton, our chocolate lab, is very friendly and is always looking for more friends to add to his pack. By taking care of your dog, this will allow us to ease the “dog baby” fever by watching yours!
