About: Hi, I'm Emily and animals have been at the heart and center of my entire life. Animals bring quality and enrichment to our lives and I like to give that back in return. I've been fortunate to have animals since I was a little girl, from pocket pets, to cats, dogs, goats, horses and even a cow! In a professional capacity, I was a veterinary technician for over 8 years, providing emergency and routine care, for both large and small animals. I have cared for cats, dogs, chickens, cows, horses, and donkeys while owners were away for about the past 10 years. The last 4 years, I have been active in kennel clubs, taking classes and learning about dog training. I am currently co-teaching obedience classes and plan to continue learning about dog behavior and training. I am currently taking clients for drop in visits and walks. Drop in visits will be tailored to your pet's specific needs, providing potty breaks, fresh food/water, cleaning, comfort, & play. Walks provide physical and mental stimulation, companionship, basic skills and play. **For large dog requests, I ask as a courtesy that they are well mannered and are not likely to jump on me and knock me over or drag me as I am only 100lbs 🙂 thank you! Safety is of utmost importance. I am committed to your pet's mental, physical health, and safety overall. I will take care as I do my own. I recognize that each animal has its own personality, some are outgoing, some are shy. I will allow them to be who they are so that they can feel safe in my presence. I will communicate with you based on your preference. I provide reports at the conclusion of each check-in, also happy to send photos if your pet is comfortable with that.

I also have three friendly pugs who are well socialized and used to being around other dogs, so your pup will have built-in companionship and playmates (if they enjoy other dogs!). I always introduce dogs slowly and make sure everyone is comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their exact routine including feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate time, and house rules to keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved whether they’re in my home or theirs.

About: I have 3 years of experience taking care of cats and dogs of a variety of breeds, and have worked with puppies as well as older pets in home environments such as suburbs, cities, and rural areas. I am happy to cater to your pet's special needs, and I focus on respecting each pet's boundaries and getting to know them on a case by case basis, with the hope that they grow to trust me as much as they trust you! Since I am a writer who works remotely, I am open on a weekly basis and am able to be flexible in order to meet your scheduling requirements. I work hard to ensure that your pet's personal boundaries are not crossed while we take time to get to know each other. I especially care about learning their preferences in order to earn their favor and eventually their trust. Depending on each pet, I try to be very sensitive to any shifts in their mood or behavior, such as if they get anxiety when left alone or are afraid of loud weather.

After 5 PM on weekdays, I'm available for longer walks and extended visits. My weekend schedule is very flexible, allowing me to accommodate a variety of needs for your pup! I'm available to take your pup on a short stroll or a long adventure—whatever they prefer! I'm also happy to play fetch, provide plenty of attention, or simply keep them company. 🐾

I’m starting school for radiology in September, so my schedule is pretty open right now and I’d love to help however I can. About: As a current pet store employee, I’m constantly refreshing my knowledge on all animals so that I can better help any pet parents that come in. This includes staying up to date on care and training practices, as well as knowing what products are useful and needed and when they may be needed. I also work closely with the grooming and training team, so I have a bit of knowledge in those areas as well! As a college graduate with a biology degree who’s main focus was on animals of all kind, I take animal care very seriously. I constantly am reading up on care and learning to understand animal body language as best as humanly possible. My animals mean the world to me, and I know others feel the same way about theirs. If theres any way I can assure people their pets and comfortable and safe while they’re away, that’s what I try to do. I am very vigilant while I am watching any type of pet, meaning I’m always making sure they are not getting into anything they shouldn’t, that they are properly restrained when outside of the home, and that they are living in a clean home while I am there. Cats litter boxes scooped daily, dogs walked daily and well engaged in activity, and any other pets properly cared for as well.

About: My name is Tim Borza and I was born and raised right outside Utica, NY. I’ve been watching pets for the last 7 years, with the last 3 being back in the Utica area. I had a dog growing up, and currently have one of my own now. I am open to all services, but primarily care for dogs in my own home in Whitesboro, NY. I own my own business so I am on my own schedule making for dog care very easy. I am able to provide bathrooms breaks and go for walks at inconvene times if needed. I have a fenced in yard and live by myself making for a relaxing, comfertable and playful environment. I also own a dog of my own with a great temperament and have been caring for dogs for years.

About: I have owned plenty of dogs throughout my life. I also was a pet groomer at petco. My family relies on me to bath their dogs, as well as walk them, as well as take are of them throughout the day. I can do pets if all ages as I have senior pets of my own. I currently work at a horse barn from 7-11am and I clean in the evenings from around 12-6pm. I do have means of transportation to and from your pet At your house I will be sure to follow all house rules as well as pick up any messes I leave behind.
