She was really great with Maxx (he is a big boy and can be a handful) and the high points of my days away were her comments and pictures of what they did together and how he was doing. She also did a lot of little things she really didn't have to: taking him for a little walk, scooping my cat's box, taking out the trash, etc. I really could not have made a better choice! About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. Currently residing with horses, donkeys, cats, and dogs, I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. Currently working part time and from home, I have plenty of time to play with and care for your animals. Your babies are guaranteed to come home tired and happy. I have a fenced yard and 3 very friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company during supervised play time. Willing to crate your dog if needed and take on individual walks.

“Our dog Maybre is a tad bit on the nervous side, he has only met Sarah (with us) one time before we left on our vacation. Despite all of that sarah did great with Maybre! She was very prompt with her schedule, loving to Maybre, and communicative with what was going on (including photos). I am happy that Maybre now has a new friend/sitter with Sarah!”

About: Responsible, dependable, have three large dogs and two cats of my own, enjoy making sure they are taken care of and well loved. My retirement dream is to have a senior dog sanctuary, love to get out and walk. I work in healthcare. Growing up we also had dogs and they went with us everywhere because they were part of the family. My three crazy pups now are rescues from the shelter, it amazes me no wanted them, shelter pups make the best companions. I will make sure to clean up after them and that they have plenty of fresh water after their walks if hired. For longer visits I would prefer my own house as long as everyone gets along I currently work fulltime Monday thru Friday, available on weekends and evenings. Other times can be discussed. If able can do check ins on unscheduled dates if you are running late getting home Provide sanitary clean up, my yard is fenced in, will not leave unattended in the yard, lots of toys to play with in the yard.

“Melanie was fantastic taking care of my cat, Jimmy. I went out of state for Christmas and had her come twice a day for a week to feed him and clean his litter box. She sent me pics, videos and notes the whole time which was comforting since I had never left him for more than 2 days before this trip. She even took my trash and cleaned out the sink of his bowls. I can definitely recommend Melanie!”

I am retired and not working at this time. I am very reliable and will take good care of your pets. I have a large fenced in back yard and 2 small dogs for playmates with your fur babies. We have available boarding, for pet sitting, dog walking Monday through Friday. Some weekends available upon prior reservation. Reservations are required in advance.
