About: Hi! My name is Alexis, and I am a veterinarian with a specialty in internal medicine. I recently finished my residency in Florida and have a couple of months free before I start my job here. I understand how stressful it can be leaving town or even for work during the day while your pets are at home. Let me ease some of that stress for you! My schedule is currently very open, so I can be flexible to your needs! I will keep my calendar updated for the times I will be out of town. I have a small fenced in yard and a larger non-fenced front yard. I have plenty of space to feed dogs away from each other if needed and for them to get some space from each other.

About: I love all animals! I have experience with dogs,cats, birds and hamsters. We have three dogs of our own, and my husband has banned me from any more fur babies. I’m hoping you will allow me the joy of loving on yours! I grew up with dogs my whole life. In my adult life, we’ve consistently had three dogs since for the past 15 years. I lost my dog soulmate last April 🥺. Our dog crew consist of our rat terrier Vader, our chocolate lab Penny and our silly beagle Pumpkin. Vader spends most of his day sleeping on the couch. Penny and Pumpkin are very active, get daily walks and monthly trips to doggy daycare. They are all friendly and love to have friends over to play! I do work full-time (8am-3pm) during the week in Wilmington, but I live in Leland. I’m able to come home/ to your home on my lunch break to check on and give the puppies love. I take the dogs on walks before work and then in the afternoon after we are home. I’m usually home all weekend with the dogs. I have a fenced in yard! Our dogs are all friendly and love to have friends over! They are no longer crated during the day but if you prefer your pup to be crated that totally fine! Unlimited access to water and lots of treats and belly rubs!

My pet care experience includes a variety of species in a variety of environments. I am a native to Wilmington so I know the area well and can give your pup the adventure they crave if you so choose. About: I’ve worked with animals for 18 years. My first job was at a veterinary clinic and I’ve been pet sitting ever since. I volunteer at the Humane Society in my free time. I have experience administering oral medications and potty training puppies. I have some experience training basic obedience and tricks. I don’t discriminate against breed or size - I love them all, feline and canine! I’ve also taken care of birds, fish and cows (I interned at a dairy farm one summer). When pet sitting, I enjoy taking able bodied pups along for hikes and adventures. Overall, I will treat your fur or fur-less babies as if they are my own. I’m a part time nanny, so I work afternoons - evenings Tuesday through Friday. I’m available for walking or check ins in the mornings and late evenings/nights on those days. I’m also open to pet sitting on the weekends - also during the week if your pet can be alone for 6-8 hours at a time. When I walk dogs, I give them lots of affection before getting them ready for their walk. When dog sitting, I take them out first thing in the morning before their breakfast. We will go on 2 long walks, with potty breaks in between. I like to take them to the dog park sometimes or on a long hike if it is allowed. I am respectful of the pet parent’s wishes in all regards.

About: I've been around well trained and untrained dogs alike for most of my life. I am capable with strong dogs, aggressive dogs, and dogs who just have tons of energy! I am currently doing gig work in the film industry, so in between gigs I have plenty of time to care for our furry friends. I care for other people's pets same as I care for mine at home. Simple basics are essential, but the magic happens when you build a bond and enrich each other's time together.

About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!

I grew up with a dainty apricot Poodle (NeNe) and owned Miniature Pinschers (Little Virginia Peanut and Rusty Bent Nail) as an adult. I currently own two beagles, Lady Frida Freckles and Lord Dufus Rufus. I’ve never met a dog I didn’t like. I am currently enjoying much needed time off so I have few time commitments. I have open availability Monday through Thursday, no earlier than 9am (not including holidays). I have a fenced play area in the backyard for my dogs and an outdoor pen with dog house.
