About: Hi pet owners! Pets make me so happy and I wish I could be with them all the time! I am not able to have a pet in Bellingham so I would love to take care of yours! I have cat and dog sat and dog walked more times than I can count and I love it! Thanks for considering, I am hoping to use my earnings to travel during the spring! I have a very light work/school schedule! I am gone at most 2-5 hours at a time. I would love to watch you pet at my house or at yours! I love to play with pets, give them lots of snuggles, take them to the park, and walk them, I like to hang out outside with them!

About: Mindful, Loving Dog Walks with a Calm and Caring Presence Hello! I’m Jackie—a lifelong animal lover and nature enthusiast offering gentle, grounded dog walking services on Orcas island. With a background in caregiving and emotional wellness, I bring a deeply attuned presence to every dog I meet. Whether your pup is playful and energetic or shy and sensitive, I take the time to truly connect, honoring their pace, needs, and personality. I offer: 🐾 Mindful, enriching walks that blend movement and calm 🐾 A consistent, trustworthy presence you can count on 🐾 A trauma-informed approach for anxious or reactive pups 🐾 Updates and photos so you feel connected while you’re away I believe animals thrive when they feel safe, seen, and loved—and that’s exactly what I offer on every walk. Whether we're strolling through a quiet park or simply sniffing around the block, your pup will be in caring, capable hands. Let’s create a calm, joyful rhythm for your dog’s day! My schedule is flexible and I am able to walk/check in on pups and cats during the week between 10-1 or after 6. I can sometimes do weekends as well and am open to dog/cat sitting. I can make myself available in and around Orcas Island. Weekend animal sitting can be anywhere in the Puget Sound area. I give animals loving attention- lots of petting, play, positive tone. I am happy to feed, give medicine, brush pup as needed. I am both a playful and calm presence for the animals I have cared for. I will be doing a course in dog CPR/First Aid to add to my skill set for this work.

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones. Right now, I am home from college in Seattle for the summer. I am currently taking bookings for any day of the week and at any time! Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.

Marta is a wonderful dog walker! My dog immediately took to her and her partner, and they were off on an adventure! My dog can be hesitant to go along with strangers, so this was a big deal! She is very prompt in her reply, a great communicator, and arrived in a timely manner! Definitely would recommend to anyone needing a dog walker on Orcas!
