About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, hamsters, and other sweet creatures for nearly my entire life, and have raised / cared for / trained dogs regularly for the last 20. I love animals, especially those who need a little extra patience and love. I’m very comfortable with dogs who require regular medication, help getting around, or who need special attention due to illness or old age. Spending time with animals and helping them enjoy the world is a true pleasure. Until my senior pup passed, pet care was a cornerstone of my schedule. Two+ long walks a day, play/hikes, consistent feeding and medication schedules. More recently, I volunteer at local rescues and help out with friends’ dogs and cats whenever possible. Fortunately, my day job is entirely remote, so it’s easy for me to spend the day hanging with your pet between walks and mealtimes. I communicate clearly with clients about the type and schedule of care their pet needs. I always prefer to hang with dogs and cats in their home where they’re more comfortable, but can also invite dogs who get along with cats to stay at my house. I am happy to drive dogs to one of the many beautiful places nearby to walk, hike, or swim, or just go for a stroll in the neighborhood. I follow the preferences/instructions of the owner closely for crating, sleeping, training, interactions with other animals, etc. - you know your pet best! I remain extremely attentive to dog behavior when out and about so I can prevent any dust-ups or scary moments. I am calm in a crisis and work with clients to understand any special concerns or anxieties that (you or) your pet may have :)

18. Sarah Jayne R.
“Sarah Jayne is patient, kind, and puts care and attention into all that she does. These traits show up especially with animals. She is naturally attuned with all living things, making her the best choice to care for your pets. Sarah Jayne is communicative and responsible, and values consistency and predictability. Her commitment to physical activity sets her up to take care of a range of animals from slower, less physically demanding dogs to highly athletic breeds. Most importantly, Sarah Jayne regularly keeps safety top of mind and is a vigilant protector. She is simply the best!”
19. Morgan W.
“Morgan left very detailed reports for my pet and has been really great with understanding Eli’s quirks. Morgan has also been a great communicator and has been very punctual with the appointments we have set up.”
20. Sarah M.
“I met Sarah in college while pursuing a degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine & Animal Bio-sciences, and she has been a very close friend for 6 years now (and counting). Sarah is super intelligible when it comes to the veterinary health and care of small animals in thanks to her education, past work experience as a veterinary technician, and current work experience as an employee at Doggie Style Pets in Philadelphia. Sarah grew up in a house with many loved pets, and continues to adopt and foster today as she can. My own dog, Kayli, loved Sarah, and took to her immediately upon meeting her back in college, and we all know what they say about dogs being sensible judges of character and trust. I would recommend Sarah as a dog sitter with all my heart. Anybody who hires Sarah as a dog caregiver is in good hands.”
