I do not force a connection and I let pets come to me. I understand pets need time to get to know someone and I respect their space. But if your pet loves me from the get go and requires a lot of cuddles, I’m happy to oblige. 😊 I offer boarding for one kitty at a time, in a quiet, private space - perfect for cats who need peace and calm, with cosy vertical space, a litter box, food and water, as needed.

About: I like poetry, sunsets, and long walks on the beach. None of which matters to your pet - except maybe the long walks on the beach. Which would be nice, if I lived near the beach. Note: I have found a wide variation in the amount diligent attention different dogs need. Dogs requiring more attention are more liable to damage furniture, screen doors, etc., and Rover doesn't provide any coverage for that. Rover also doesn't allow sitters to specify different rates based on age/size/breed/etc. (except for a puppy rate). My rates are the minimum I feel comfortable charging for a minimum care dog - I may request a higher rate for certain dogs. I work remotely and am currently in between jobs. I am home in the mornings, then in the late morning/early afternoon I usually head into town, either up into the canyon for a dip in the creek, or to a coffee shop. I always take dogs with me when I go out, and make sure to park in the shade with the windows down if they stay in the car. I have a fenced back patio and no pets of my own. Unfortunately I have had some damage to my property recently, and since Rover does not provide any coverage, I am starting to be more selective about the pets I take on.

About: Hey there! I moved from Florida to Arizona in 2025 and loving it! I love furry friends of all kinds! Of course I grew up with dogs and cats, but my adventure really began when my husband and I got our twin dogs six months after we married 18 years ago. They were our kids until they recently passed at 16 and 18 years old. We were absolutely dedicated to make sure they were happy and healthy. Now I would like to build relationships with pet owners, giving you peace of mind knowing your precious pets are in excellent loving hands while you are away. I live an active lifestyle. I am housewife with no children or pets so I have a flexible schedule and I am available most anytime. I love having a pet as a companion. We have a beautiful, comfortable 3/2 home in a gated private community next to Oak Creek. There is a grassy park and walking trail right next to the creek where we love to go for relaxation and play. While our yard is nice to play in, it is not fenced. I am also able to come to your home. I love taking dogs for walks everyday. It’s great for their well-being and mine!

About: I have been passionate about animals since early childhood. My experience spans domestic pets, exotic animals, farm animals, and service dog training. Below is an overview of my lifelong work with animals: Early Childhood & Domestic Pets: -Began caring for animals at age 5 with three cats and my first dog (a Maltese) at age 8. -Personally responsible for training and caring for my dog from a young age. -Attended weekly dog obedience classes as the only child—my dog was often the most well-trained in class! -Raised and trained multiple dogs growing up, including Maltese and Border Collies. -As an adult, I have lived with and trained various breeds including Border Collies, Siberian Huskies, Dachshunds, and many toy dog mixes. As a full-time indie author, I can take my work anywhere and have a highly flexible schedule. I teach one class a week at a local Sedona yoga studio and work part-time at a crystal boutique. Outside of those brief commitments, I’m home writing, reading, or happily spending time with animals. If I’m ever away from your home, it won’t be for more than 5–6 hours at a time. For pets that need specialty care—like puppies, senior dogs, or animals with specific routines—I can easily rearrange my day to be fully present and attentive. You let me know your pet’s schedule, and I’ll make it happen. I offer in-home pet sitting to keep your animals comfortable and stress-free in their familiar environment. My care style is attentive and proactive—I follow your pet’s routines for feeding, exercise, playtime, and snuggles while ensuring their space stays safe and clean. I’m excellent at puppy-proofing and making sure curious pets stay out of harm’s way. With over two decades of animal care experience, I’m confident in recognizing early signs of discomfort or distress. I have basic dog first aid knowledge, so I’m prepared to handle minor injuries or emergencies calmly and effectively. Working with a farm of animals to a pup or cat on the lap. Growing up with 12 horses, 2 mules, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 chinchillas, and an array of different animals on job, even those of the exotic type, I will be happy to discuss the care of your animals and the special needs they may have whether it be medication or particular daily rituals. If you were sitting my little pup, how would I want him to be treated? These animals are our family and deserve nothing less than exactly what they need (….and sometimes what they want, treats are always available….) I have been vegan for 17 years and believe that we are here in this life experience to care for animals and those who can’t speak for themselves. (No, your dog will not be fed vegan food.) About: I have spent the last 3 years traveling while doing house/pet sits throughout Mexico, Arizona, California, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. My clients have included some high profile gigs in Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, and Malibu, but I have also spent months at a time living off-grid in the Mexican jungle and caring for animals on remote farms. My experience dates back to 1991 when I worked my high school summer vacations on a sheep farm to escape city life. I love ALL animals, and have had a special connection with them, my whole life. Your pets (and babies) will be comfortable with me right away. I have been a mom to birds, rodents, fish, cats, and dogs. I do have some experience with reptiles, as well. I come with many years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats from the puppy/kitten stage through their golden years, so you can rest assured that any special accommodations your fur-baby may need will be met with kindness and compassion. I am particularly fond of, and experienced with Bully Breeds, Golden Retrievers, and Doodles of all varieties. I only provide pet care in the owners home as I’ve found it is a far less stressful experience for the pets and the sitter. It’s all I do, so your pets will get tons of attention and affection. I also do occasional dog walking gigs while I’m staying at your home. Your babies are my babies while you’re away, and your home will be treated with the utmost respect. Confidentiality and privacy are considered paramount, always.

About: I’m Amy , lover of all pets, young and old, big and small. I have had dogs and cats my whole life and have attended dog training classes. We can do walks, hikes, swimming, dog parks or whatever the bub desires. I will treat your pet as if it were my own and give them all the attention and love they need I work remote so I am available for them 24/7. Very flexible! I can also come check up on them, feed them, walk them whatever/whenever! I offer all services. I will do whatever it is you need. I can give meds if needed as long as I have instructions on how much and what time.

About: My entirely life I have never been without a pet more then 6 months. I am very good with them and I love them all I’m a stay at home fur baby house. I absolutely love dogs , they love me. I just have a thing in me. Never met a dog i could not train. Every fur baby i have ever met i love. I even will rehome vermin because i can’t kill them. I have a Fenced in yard with lots of corners to explore. Love taking walks . And play with my furchildern. Tug of war and fetch are favorites please be advised I only take dogs from 1-30 lbs. however there is not a button for that only from 16-40.

About: I offer house call visits and can even stay overnight for pet sitting. I love to walk dogs either around the neighborhood or on a nearby hike, depending on your preference. I can walk up to two dogs at a time if needed. I have been raised with dogs and cats, so I’ve had lots of experience taking care of the family pets. I even take care of my sister’s dog occasionally when she goes on little trips. I feel that it’s important to keep dogs active and play fetch also, especially if they have a lot of energy.
