About: Since I was in Middle School, friends, family, and locals ask me take out, feed, play, and stay with their fur babies! I have watched dogs for 2 weeks at a time, a weekend, a night, and even just a drop in. I have experience with puppies, adult, and senior dogs, and will go out of my way to make sure they feel loved while their pawrents are away! I’m currently working full-time, so I have plenty of time after work to play and take care of your pets! Even with a full-time job, your fur baby will be unconditionally loved, as I love my own. I grew up walking and taking care of my own dogs, as well as friend’s and local’s dogs. I’ve never been without a dog. I’m committed to doing everything I can to keep your fur babies happy, as they will be doing the same for me!

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life and have frequently helped neighbors and friends with theirs. I now have a yellow lab and a black and white cat that are both 2 years old. I love animals and work from home so I am available when needed to help check in on or walk any animals you may have! I work from home and can be flexible with what you need. I find it easiest to help out owners at lunch to give their dogs a halfway break. I have owned and been around all different kind of dogs and understand that each can have their own quirks and need to trust me.

Laura is wonderful! Great communication and my girl trusted her very early on! Athena is a Tim at rescue and often times won’t leave the house with sitters for the first couple visits, but Athena left with her all three of her first visits and even went for a walk with her a couple times which she rarely does. My expectations are getting her potty break met and to get her exercise needs met as well as a huge bonus! Will definitely hire again!

Julia was amazing with our very timid little rescue. Julia went out of her way to come ahead of time to meet her, and I felt so much better once I met Julia, and saw how incredibly thoughtful her approach was.

About: Now offering adventure daycare (pick up and drop off service and hiking during the day) and boarding in my home which includes adventure daycare.... Over 16 years training, walking and exercising high energy dogs. I have extensive experience with working dogs, special needs dogs and have certifications in dog obedience and other disciplines. I am licensed as a public school teacher and fully background checked. Contact me for the best care. Boarding and adventure daycare is my speciality. I have limited drop in availability. Dog walking and exercising is my full-time job. I want to provide a concierge service that makes it easiest for you to take your time back and be well. Your wellness is key to your dog being well. My joy for this profession started when I couldn't find a trusted sitter and dog walker for my own animal. I decided to provide that service to others so they wouldn't have the same problem. I give love, attention and exercise to your family member as if they were my own. I am a licensed public school educator who is fully background checked with glowing references that can be provided.

It's all about the precious pets needs for me. I provide 5 star service and have a flexible schedule to meet your and your four legged friends needs! I don’t have a furry friend of my own but I love the opportunity to give a little love to all the pets I meet. Any dog big or small is awesome in my book. My aim is to make them happy and your life a bit easier! I look forward to hearing from you and getting to spend time with your wonderful pets! I currently work a 9 to 5 remote job and have plenty of flexibility to meet you and your pets needs. I can house sit or do drop ins as needed with my schedule. I am the happiest when I am around dogs and enjoy playing with them! I have been the go to dog sitter for my friends and family for over 8 years. I have access to trails in my backyard and live and work in a dog friendly area. I love meeting new friends and having fun adventures around our gorgeous town.

Colleen D is fantastic!!!! She cares for every need (and wants!!! LOL) my pooches Bella and Sophie have. She is reliable, caring, attentive and loves my dogs as if they were princesses and her own. She is always there for me even in short notice. I am extremely greatful for her attentive care, passion for animals and over all kind spirit. It comes without any reservation that I would wholeheartedly recommend Colleen for any type of care.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
