âMarsha is wonderful! She took on our 5 kitties while we were out of town for a few days and she was very dependable and communicative. We received regular updates and pictures with every visit and the kitties were very well cared for. 𩷠I would definitely recommend Marsha!â

âHope was wonderful with our two neurotic cats. She helped to keep them on their schedules with separate feeding preferences and our home was perfect when we came back. Thanks!â

âI booked Susan at the last minute for a drop in visit for my two labs while we had a long day out of town. This was our first time using her, and considering weâd never met and I have a husband who is nervous about having people in our house we donât know, it was a relief that everything went perfectly! She followed instructions to the T, sent a couple of pictures and we felt very comfortable with her. We will use Susan again!â

âLayla and Gracie provided a drop-in for my 3 pups. They were very prompt, loving, and provided some great pics. Iâm looking forward to their overnight stay here soon, knowing my dogs are in great hands.â

About: Iâve always had animals from a young age from small bunnies to big horses. We have an excellent relationship with Welch Veterinary Clinic and Hartland Grooming if you want us to take your dog for a doggy spa day. My 16 year old daughter, Brittan and I spend time to take care of our pets and we love your pets like our very own! We live on a farm, we have four friendly dogs for playmates. We take the dogs on walks on the back roads, lots of playtime, and snuggles at night. We have a small crate for small dogs, and a small room area for big dogs and also a fenced in yard and outdoor kennel.
âKylee was amazing with our Great Pyrenees Ghost! We had to be away for a night and she was able to come and let him out for us, play with him and feed him while we were gone. It was so convenient and ghost loves her!â

âThanks Team Tamara for going above and beyond in filling the birdbaths and tending to the community cat dish outside, even bringing in our garbage bin! Much appreciated! I did the max tip!â
âMichelle is beyond amazing! She came through last minute to assist with my pets! I felt very comfortable with her and she assured me that everything would be fine. I would definitely use her services again!â

âChristine is an amazing sitter! She always takes the best care of my boy when I am out of town. She even accepted a very last minute drop in when I had to go out of town unexpectedly. Highly highly recommend!â

âKaleigh was super quick to respond and help me out with a last minute request! My pups loved her and I would def recommend booking with her! I will be booking again in the future!!â

âShe is the BEST! We just moved here and needed a new dog walker for our baby girl and she made Gracie feel at home in her new surrounds and allowed me to not worry while I was at work. She is the best and we are using her again already for house sitting and also for more dog walkies!â

About: Growing up in the country, I have grown up with all sorts of animals (dogs, cat, rabbit, cows, longhorns). However, dogs have been the animal with me throughout my entire life. We got our first family dog when I was 6 and have had 3-10 dogs at a time since then! Needless to say, I'm definitely a dog person. I have experience feeding, walking, and washing dogs, and can do some basic self-taught training (sitting, down, shake). I also have house-sat and pet-sit for some family friends' and my friends' parents on several occasions. My house is full of animal love. I have a 3-year-old Plott hound mix (named Nova), a 4-year-old German Shepard (named Goose), and a 8 month old cat (named Ary). They all have their own special quirks, but are so funny and love running and playing! Nova is very food motivated and loves to run in circles and play in water, Goose is very toy motivated and could play frisbee for hours without a break if we let him, and Ary is the definition of a "lap cat" but loves being our pest control when she see an bug. I hope you give me the chance to give your fur babies some extra love and attention! I'm a full-time social worker! I can provide overnight visits whenever, but walking and drop-ins are only available on weekends and then during school scheduled breaks (my availability will reflect it)! In my home, one of my dogs is crated due to her liking to get in the trash. So, I am easily able to crate your dog if necessary and of course feed, water, play, and walk them as needed! Also, more than willing to send you pictures of your dogs throughout the visit if that's something you want :)
About: I've taken care of many animals in the course of years. From guinea pigs to cats and dogs to fishes and farm animals. I love animals and love learning about them. I work a flex schedule at a warehouse where I can plan my own schedule, rest assured I can work around different schedules to make sure to take care of the pets and have them as higher priority I have many pets at home. I have cats, dogs and chickens. If your pet isn't keen to being around other animals I will keep them indoors with me and take them out on a leash for the bathroom or to walk around away from the other animals. Your pets are the priority, I can care for them from early in the morning to late in the day and do overnight stays
âWe left our kitties in Ashlynnâs care with much less notice or instruction that I would have normally wanted â and a historic rain storm even blew in! But she wonderful job making sure the kitties were cared for and cuddled for more than a week. She even cleaned cat barf off a comforter. We really appreciate her exceptional dependability & kindness!â

Cat sitters on Rover care for your catsâ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, donât forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Point. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
