“Shelley was amazing with our dog. She even did some research on our not so popular breed so that she was prepared for our puppy's overnight stay. Shelley was very thorough in her care for Dixie, explained how she would introduce her safely to her other pets, and how she would keep them separated if they didn't get along. Our dog loved her pets and got lots of energy out playing with them and Shelley. We received pictures and videos and knew Dixie was in very good and informative hands. Would definitely recommend Shelley to anyone who needs to have their pet cared for!”

“What a wonderful experience for my 8 month old bernedoodle puppy! Julie has the perfect setup for dogs. Her fenced in yard gives lots of space for her 2 dogs plus other visiting dogs. The 3 of them were chasing and playing right away. Julie made sure my puppy, Tillie, had plenty of water and food which was great because she Tillie was burning up energy. She gave Tillie so much love as well as belly rubs and even brushing her. I highly recommend Julie and will be using her the next time I visit my sister in Burlington! Thanks for all the love you gave to Tillie!”

“Excellent, attentive care for my two toy poodles! Kyla took wonderful care of my dogs during their two-night stay. I especially appreciated her understanding and patience with my elderly poodle who has vision difficulties. She made sure both dogs were comfortable and well-looked after. I really appreciated the pics she sent me! My pups came home happy and relaxed, which gave me great peace of mind. Would definitely book with her again!”

“She’s absolutely wonderful! Traci and her husband did their best to make my pup feel like he wasn’t alone and that he didn’t need to be afraid and he warmed up to them fairly quickly. If you need a dog sitter, this couple is by far the best!”

“Jenna went above and beyond for our girls. She kept us updated daily with pictures and a short summary and was prompt to accommodate some last-minute changes. Her family and animals were all lovely and adored playing with our goldens.”

“Riley was amazing with my dog! She has a fully fenced yard and an entire basement set up just for the dogs. It’s clean, safe, and clearly made with love. Wally had plenty of space to play and relax, and Riley took the time to learn his routine, which made us feel so at ease. She sent thoughtful updates and treated him like one of her own. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!”

About: For most of my life, I grew up on a farm full of a variety of animals. We owned chickens, cows, pigs, goats, ducks, geese, horses, and sheep. On top of that, we also kept many dogs and cats around too. Due to this, I grew up loving all my animal companions and practicing the best ways to care for our furry friends. This lifestyle is also what sparked a dream for me to become a veterinarian one day and continue on caring for animals the rest of my life. Now that my family no longer lives on that farm, I have still found ways to continue on caring for animals. My family was able to take our dogs and some cats along with us when we moved and so I still spend every day taking them on walks, potty breaks, cleaning up after them, playing with them, and feeding and watering them. Anything they need, I have always been happy to take care of. On top of that, I have been working at a local vet clinic as a ward attendant for the past two years, participating in many of these same duties. Currently, I am looking for ways to fill my free time with a little extra animal love, as I am someone who likes to always be busy doing something for others. Additionally, I am aiming to possibly make a little extra cash as a college student trying to get her pre-veterinarian degree. With classes going on, my schedule is pretty strict, unfortunately. However, my evening availability can be very flexible as I have mainly morning classes and my evenings are dedicated to studying. Therefore, if you need my help with your furry family member, I would be glad for you to use my low-priced services offered ranging from walks to house sitting to drop-in visits!

About: I had 2 pit bulls thier whole lives and they were just like my babies. I trained both of them and they were the biggest babies I have ever seen. I am currently not employed so I have plenty of time to look after and spoil your fur baby or babies. I will love them like you do. I will care for your fur baby as if they were my own. I have a decent sized yard and will keep a very close eye on them

“I was so nervous to leave my baby girl, Ginger, with a stranger for a week. However, Jacob was great. His dog was so friendly and he and Ginger got along wonderfully. I got updates and pictures. Jacob always returned my messages when I was feeling worried or guilty. When we picked Ginger up, she was excited to get back home, but I could tell she missed Jacob and R. too. I hope I don't need a dog care provider in the future, but if I do, I will be messaging Jacob.”

Mary Y.
“To whom it may concern, I met Mary during the winter of 2019 at All Creatures Animal Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. We immediately became friends as she is an extremely approachable and easy-going person. We worked together quite a lot during the holiday season, even spending Christmas Eve and Christmas day working together when the clinic was at capacity with pets. She always had a positive attitude during this hectic time and made the shifts more enjoyable. During the time we worked together, I admired how thoroughly and kindly she cared for the pets. I love animals, but I think Mary understands them in a way that I do not. When I didn't know how to deal with an aggressive pet, she was always willing to jump to my rescue and take control of the situation. Additionally, Mary is a great team player. I remember an occasion where we needed to medicate a large dog that was extremely fearful of us. Administering the medication was scary and took us some time but we persevered and successfully treated the dog together. Although Mary is a few years younger than me, she has a lot more confidence around animals than I had at her age and even at my age now. Another impressive thing about Mary is that she is always early to work even though she lives 40 minutes away from the clinic. She is also early when she has to make the commute twice a day if she is scheduled to work the morning and afternoon shifts. If my testimony doesn't embody Mary's tenacity and competence enough, I implore you to give Mary a job at Rover. She is highly equipped for the job and would be one of your best employees. I would wholeheartedly trust her with my pets and with anything I needed outside of animal care. Anybody would be lucky to have Mary as a friend and as an employee. Best, Sofia R”

Brandi L.
“Brandi is an amazing and loving person who loves dogs and was an amazing mom to two Pitties who lived long and full lives. She misses her babies and wants to share her love for dogs”
