“Erin was incredible! She invited us and Fuzz to come meet her and her family, see where Fuzz would be staying, and welcomed any questions. Fuzz was comfortable right away. We received pictures every day which made my son (Fuzz's boy!) happy. He truly became part of their family while we were away and we are grateful for such a pleasant experience! Thank you, Erin!”

“Cynthia was absolutely amazing with Eddie! She was very communicative and made me feel very at ease with the drop off and pick ups. I recommend her for boarding and I'll be booking again I'm the future!”

“Raegan was amazing! She gave updates and sent pictures of our pup that made us feel so confident in our decision to board for the weekend. I would recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter/boarding. I wish I found her sooner. Highly recommend!”

“Tony was amazing! I received many updates and pictures throughout the days I was gone. Tons of stimulation and cuddles for our pups. I would definitely have them stay over with Tony again.”

“Robert was great with my dogs. They had a nice place to sleep and play. I think they thought they were on vacation. He was very thoughtful about making the dogs feel at home. Will definitely bring them back again!”

About: I have trained my dogs for the last 10 years, I have bathed and clipped my dog and cats nails for 10 years, friends and family have relied on me to watch, walk, feed and bathe their pets for over 20 years. I currently am a stay at home mom which allows me to pay more attention to animals in my care. I currently take my dog to the dog park multiple times a week along with walks daily to help keep her active and healthy. Adding your fur friend will be an added bonus for us. I do not have a fenced yard so I prefer to watch them in my clients house, this also helps with the stress the pet may feel with being with a stranger.
“I know Harley is being well cared for and has good puppy company when she’s with Samantha and her family. This was our second booking with Samantha and she was flexible and helpful!”

“Tanaisa was an amazing host for my dog DK! She watched him for a week and I honestly think he was sad to leave her. Would 100% recommend her and will definitely be asking if she can watch my dog again in the future!”

“Breann did an amazing job watching our lab/pit mix Atlas while we were away for a week! It was our first time leaving him and we were super nervous but he was so comfortable the entire time. She provided frequent updates and made us feel so at ease. I would definitely use Breann again.”

About: Dogs are life. I've raised and trained several puppies, healed sick dogs with herbs and cared generally for dogs my entire life. I actually became an herbalist because I started healing dogs first. I live and work at home so I currently have all the time in the world to pamper, hike with and love up your pups. I have a fenced yard in the back and a whole 5 acres of roaming land and a doggo to keep your company and show em the lay of the land.
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Longview
Emily was great with our dogs. She made the whole process so easy and was very flexible. Emily is professional, very friendly, and accommodating. Our puppers came home from their 2 day stay happy and healthy. Highly recommend Emily for your doggie daycare needs. She is great! 😊

Trinity and her loving family were such a blessing. We had never left our Bella girl with anyone in her 7 years of life. We prayed and then booked Bella with Trinity. We were beyond happy and at ease throughout our trip because of Trinity's updates throughout Bella's day. Sending us pictures of Bella talking a walk at the lake with the family, a picture snuggled down for a rest, texting updates on Bella and more . These pictures and updates meant the world to us. 5 Stars for Trinity is not enough. She deserves 10 Stars!!! 😊 Thank you Trinity for all you do ~ 🩷 Cindy and Duane

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their West Longview home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your West Longview.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your West Longview sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
