About: I grew up on a farm and have taken care of a variety of animals. I worked in veterinary medicine for 8 years and spent two years in high school working for a dog and cat boarding facility. Currently a medical student, I have a lot of flexibility. I’m able to complete morning, midday, and/or evening walks. I am often available on weekends. I have a fenced in porch and can take dogs out on leash. I live close by to the rail trail and in a very walkable neighborhood. I can administer topical, oral, and subcutaneous medications.

About: My mother is a veterinarian with her own practice, so I grew up around an abundance of animals and know plenty about caring for them. My career allows me to choose my own schedule, I don't usually have shifts longer than 5/6 hours long. This allows me to take dogs out for walks or to a dog park, or I can just go home and hang out with my cat. I have a large fenced in yard with access to woods, plenty of local trails for dog walks, local lake of your dog likes to swim. Dogs and cats in my home, but there's a good sized guest bedroom that is kept closed of from the rest of my home if you have a pet that is less friendly with others.

About: Active on rover a couple of years during medical school, now looking to supplement my free attending time with furry friends to explore the upper valley! I love to hike and ski, always happy to take your pet on a fun adventure! I do shift work usually, so my schedule might not be very consistent, but I’m happy to work with you on it, just let me know! I’ve had plenty of time dog sitting, working at rover for a few years in Portland Maine and taking care of my husband’s family dog for weeks on end. Since my condo is rather small, I prefer petting sitting at their home. I like to keep their routine schedule, so would prefer clear instructions on the pet’s day to day.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for over five years, caring for everything from tiny puppies to large breeds and seniors. As a lifelong pet owner of both dogs and cats, I understand each animal’s unique needs, whether it’s high-energy playtime in the park or calm cuddle sessions at home. I’m comfortable managing excitable pups and ensuring they get the exercise, socialization, and affection they crave. With me, your family members will get reliable, experienced care every time. As a graduate student, I have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after noon. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cuddles, I can make sure your pet gets the attention they need throughout the day. I have a cozy home with a calm cat who enjoys lounging on her own couch with blankets and a scratching post nearby. I’m very gentle, patient, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs and comfort level. I can easily crate your dog if needed and always prioritize a safe, calm, and loving environment.

“Really appreciated Nora dropping in to check on my dog Dash when I was at work. Gave me lots of updates and pics. Was very considerate of my dog's needs and took the time to play with him inside when it was too cold for him to walk outside for a long period of time.”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Looking to get my own, but in the meantime, would be excited to watch yours. I have plenty of toys and treats and I’m happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable to keep your furry friend happy! I currently work at Dartmouth Hitchcock full-time which is why I typically can only watch during the weekend. My flexibility means I can also sometimes work remote. Depending on your preference, I’m sure we can work out something great. I am happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable. I love to go for a walk, so I’m happy to take them down to the small park that we have. Or if they’re not much of a walker, I’m happy to sit and relax as long as they know how to pick a TV show.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or special requests. I am always open to a discussion. Currently, I work full-time at Dartmouth College. About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, horses, cows, goats, fish, peacocks, etc. I’m very comfortable with animals of all temperaments. I was a competitive horse back rider, and during that time I took care of my stables other farm animals as well. Nothing phases me when it comes to animals! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK DOGGY DAYCARE UNLESS I AM ABLE TO WATCH YOUR DOG IN YOUR HOME 😋 I am currently working freelance so I am home most of the time. I have cared for animals with anxiety, dog aggression ,food aggression, and separation issues. I am a major problem solver so I have yet to find an issue with a pet that I cannot resolve!

About: I work remotely for an international development organization based in DC. My schedule is flexible, leaving me plenty of time to spend outdoors with some new furry friends! I have always loved taking care of dogs and come from a large, dog-owning family. I have extensive experience dog walking and sitting both small and large breeds, from Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to Labs to Bernese Mountain Dogs! I currently own a 4 year old white shepherd named Storm who loves to walk and play with other dogs. I am open to taking our pups on walks together, on trail hikes, or to the dog park. Available for daily walks, drop in visits, and dog sitting. I look forward to meeting you! Also open to discussing boarding in our home, pending meet and greet with my dog Storm. I work remotely from home, so I am flexible when taking care of dogs. Happy to work with you on a recurring schedule, or for one-time walks/visits! I work remotely full-time from home and my schedule is flexible. I take my dog, Storm, out for short (less than 30 min) and longer walks (over 1 hour) 2-3 times a day. We also enjoy using nearby trails, as well as the trails on our property. I currently live in a farmhouse in Royalton. There is no fenced in area, but we have trails on our property for dogs to walk (on leash) or run (depending on your comfort and their recall).

About: I am an animal lover at heart, and get great joy from spending time with pets of all kinds. I've done plenty of pet sitting & walking for neighbors and family friends over the years, as well as numerous clients from Rover since mid 2022, and I love it! I have cared for rambunctious pups who don’t know how to slow down, to lazy old dogs who need to be coaxed into a walk and take medications. I’ve cared for a handful of cats, some requiring medications and plenty of human attention, others that do their own thing. Being as comfortable as I am with different animals & their personalities, I am confident in my ability to provide your pets with the proper care and an abundance of love and affection. Not to mention, I arguably enjoy their company just as much if not more than they enjoy mine! I am going full time beginning August 24, 2025! I will be available any day of the week for all pet care needs. Typically I’ll have time for 4-6 walks & drop ins per day. In the fall I also coach soccer, so I have some afternoon practices & occasional games to work around. I am comfortable with both on and off leash walks and commands as well as E-collars, whichever is most suitable for your pet with a new person. I love to play, and I will throw a ball, tug a toy, go for walks, take a ride, or just chill on the couch if that's what they want to do. I love to pickup on their different personalities and mannerisms, and sometimes it just feels easier to communicate with them than people. I generally just enjoy my time with them, keep them fed & happy, and try to stick to their regular routine to keep everything smooth. I also have a list of questions I typically ask owners ahead of time to make sure it’s a good fit & to get as much important info as I can before providing care.

About: Hi! My name is Pam, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 7 years. I’ve provided dog walking and pet sitting services for families with all kinds of animals—big and small! I also volunteered at a veterinary clinic, where I learned even more about pet health, behavior, and how to handle pets with care and confidence. I truly love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s a quick walk or a weekend of sitting, I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved. Pet care is a regular part of my week and something I honestly love doing. Whether it’s walking dogs, checking in on cats, or just spending time with animals, I make sure to fit it into my schedule because it brings me joy. I’m used to planning my day around walks, feedings, and playtime—it’s second nature at this point. Being around animals always makes my day better, and I love building routines with them. When I care for pets in my clients’ homes, I always try to keep their routines as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions closely—whether it’s feeding times, walks, medications, or favorite toys—and make sure each pet feels safe and loved while their family is away. I give them plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles, and I always keep the space clean and calm. My goal is to make them feel like nothing’s changed, just that they have a new friend hanging out with them!

“Liz is an exceptional pet sitter. She’s wonderful with both dogs and cats. She's patient, attentive, and caring. My cat is shy but Liz took the time to build trust, and now they’re best buds. She even taught him a few tricks, which I didn’t think was possible! My high energy dog can be a handful, but Liz handles him easily, you can tell she has tons of experience and really loves what she does. She’s also incredibly dependable. She responds to requests quickly (usually within minutes!) and has never canceled on me, even when my schedule has changed last minute. She’s always understanding, flexible, and easy to work with. She also worked in a vet office for several years, so I know that she'll know where to turn with emergencies!”

Ellis B.

“Ellis was great, communicative and pleasant. I’d happily have him back to walk my dogs again.”

Michael L.
“Mike has safe & considerate vibes, and this is coming from a single woman. He was so patient & kind with my cat, who is skittish (at the very least) around new people. Men especially. He took the time to let Tuna get comfortable with him, while making sure he was taken care of. He didn’t force any interactions, and his focus was on Tuna feeling comfortable and safe. Which ultimately resulted in Tuna brushing up against him and meeting him when he came in. A true victory! If you’re a single gal, and looking for someone who you can trust to be in your house while also taking amazing care of your pet, look no further :)”

Katherine D.

“Katherine is very reliable and she takes such great photos of my dog Talli! Also very quick to respond via text when I want to book her for a walk. :)”

Armani B.Star Sitter

“Armani was fantastic! She was very communicative, took lots of great pictures and loved on our dog as we would. We definitely recommend her pet sitting!”

Grace M.
“Grace has watched our precious furry baby Finnie many times. She is very reliable and Finnie loves her. She always goes above and beyond by sending lots of pictures each day and she also does special things like giving him a bath and finding him special toys she knows he will like. We really love Finnie and there is so much peace of mind in having someone like Grace to care for him. I can recommend her highly enough.”

Laura R.

“Laura is hands down the best dog walker I have ever had. JJ's favorite part of the day is walk time with Laura! She not only is amazing with JJ and other dogs - you can tell she is a dog lover - but she also is responsible, punctual, and attentive to JJ's needs. I know her schedule is pretty full, but if you can, try to get Laura for your Portland dog walking needs, your dog will thank you. 4 out of 4 paws!!”

Ronan P.

“Ronan is great! On time, easy going, Tito loves him and will allow last minute booking for dog walks.”
