Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. About: My first rescue was a mixed breed puppy for our family. She died after 17 years of filling our hearts with joy. My second rescue was also a mixed breed puppy. She is very affectionate and energetic. I have watched dogs for my family and neighbors on multiple occasions. I have a huge yard with a pond for running and swimming and there is always lots of snuggles and love inside. I work remotely 4 out of 5 weekdays. On the day I go into the office, my husband has the flexibility to stop in several times to walk the dog around the back yard and hand out treats. Safety is the number one concern and I would always have your dog leashed outside. Inside they would have plenty of space for play and rest .

About: I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones! I like to be outdoors, so I am happy to walk and play with the dogs in my care outside at least 3 times a day.. I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. I am flexible about scheduling, and I welcome long term stays. I am also happy to accept last minute requests. I own my home...I don't have a fenced yard, but will walk my dog guests frequently, as i do like to be outdoors...I enjoy having dogs in my home, and spending lots of time with them. They are welcome on the furniture and to sleep on the bed..

About: A loving indoor environment, hands-on care in a country setting with fresh air available and plenty of space. The backyard, with a creek running behind it, is beautiful and safe. I am home all day except for quick errands I have raised and trained Brittany spaniels, Golden retrievers, and Siberian huskies. An accomplished trainer, devoted to animals, I am retired, a former farmer living in a quiet, relaxed home. I have ample time for walks, playtime, and rest. The yard is cleaned daily. I am long-time dog owner and trainer (and cat owner) who can handle any breed or any sized dog, small, medium, large, or bigger, offering long walks with ample room for exercise and play ...

About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 7 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I'm now a stay at home mom missing my daily dog visits! I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 3 year old lab grey hound mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 2 year old Irish terrier mix who ha unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I'm willing to bathe and groom but it just depends on your dogs hair and size because I do not have a grooming area set up yet in my home, but I'm willing to talk about it! I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

I live in a quiet apartment surrounded by forest and green space, with very little car traffic in the neighborhood, which is perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor sniff time. At my place, I maintain a clean and cozy space with plenty of room for your doggie or kitty to lounge, play, or nap. In your home, I'll respect the privacy and cleaness of your space. I will follow your care instructions closely, from feeding routines to medication schedules and favorite toys, because I know how important familiarity and consistency is to their happiness.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life. In the past 8 years I have lived in CO during that time, I have been through pain and loss. Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. I have experience with caring for sick animals (dogs and cats) - giving medication, subcutaneous fluids, frequent bathroom breaks/issues, also first hand experience with separation anxiety I have currently moved back to my home in the Finger Lakes of New York! I currently work remotely, and plan on continuing this. I have open availability. For Drop off or pick up my hours are between 8am - 8pm. I am also available most weekends! I want any pet at my home feel safe secure and happy. I love to curl up with pets, watch a good show. Or go out into the yard and play games. I also would with permission from the pet parents to go on long walks. I miss having fuzzies and would give them all my heart and soul.

About: Growing up my best friend was my pup Maggy - outside of my family I dog sat for many friends/families over the years, I even spent some time fostering puppies/kittens from the SPCA with my girlfriend. My schedule is flexible and can arrange a meet up whenever is most convenient for you. I work weekdays but have an hour for lunch to check up on pups if needed. I have complete availability Friday through Sunday. I have a pet friendly apartment with a yard to play. I live in a safe neighborhood in Lansing.
