About: I’ve had my own dog since 2017 and have helped care for him ever since. For the past 5 summers, I’ve also dog sat and house sat for a family friend’s two standard poodles, one elderly dog with hip issues and hearing/vision loss, and one younger, high-energy dog who needed lots of attention and play. Last fall, I cared for the older dog during his final days, helping him stand, supporting him outside, and cleaning up after him when needed. I have also dogsat for my cousin's dogs for multiple days, walking them however much they needed and spending time with them. In addition, I’ve cared for a family friend’s cat by feeding her, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, and spending time with her while they were away. Laura has been doing a great job with our two dogs! Our one dog gets hot very easily on her walks and then likes to turn around and go home. Laura has been very good with getting her home and then playing with the other dog to get her some extra exercise. Then on cooler days she is able to take a longer walk with them. She is very sensitive to their body language and takes great care with them. I am very happy and looking forward to having Laura watch our dogs overnight in October. Highly recommend!
