“We visit Stowe often and sometimes don’t bring our dog because we didn’t know anyone here that could do visits for her if we are out for a long period. Alison solved that problem! She did a great job with Maisy, while we were out all day - two visits, and Maisy warmed up to Alison quickly. When Maisy was timid at the beginning of the first visit, Alison knew just what to do to, and by the second visit Maisy welcomed Alison in with a wagging tail and led her all around the neighborhood on their walk. Thank you Alison! We will see you again for future visits!”

About: I grew up with litters of German Shepherd puppies which sparked my lifelong love of animals. As adult, I raised and bred Labrador Retrievers. I now share my home with five cats, two Labs and six chickens. I'm also a proud grandparent to two wonderful grandchildren. Retired and living in Vermont. I'm recently retired and spending my time doing what I love most. Beling arond animals. I enjoy going on walks, playing and simply keeping pets company. If you ever need a little help with your furry friend whether it's a walk, some playtime, or just a visit while you're out. I can take them to the dog parks or to the waling paths.

About: I have always been around pets of all kinds; reptiles, house pets, farm animals, even a tarantula. I am caring and attentive and up for anything! I work from home and set my own work schedule. Pet care can fit right into my flexible schedule. I would love to have a companion on my walks, as I listen to my podcasts!! I like to do my research on a particular pet if I am going to care for it. This ensures I will properly handle and care for the pet, as they vary!

“Marielle is an EXCEPTIONAL dog sitter! She helped us out for 4 days in a row with our rambunctious, challenging, high-energy, relentlessly driven almost 6 mo Australian Shepherd. The weather was horribly uncooperative - freezing, raining, windy, muddy and ongoing for all but 1 day. Marielle showed up on time very early in the morning with an enthusiastic greeting to my pup and no matter how many instructions I may have burdened her with, she took everything in with a smile. She is highly knowledgeable about dogs of all ages, patient, kind and energetic. She took my dog out for hours in all conditions without complaint! Our cabin was tiny, and she came for 4 -5 hour drop in visits. She is very comfortable to be around and my dog loved her! What more could you ask for?? Highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up with dogs in my life since day one. I have learned how to take care of puppies with high energy to old dogs that need help going out to the bathroom. I have been dog watching for over 8 years and I am used to working with Rover. I’m also available for weekly/reoccurring meetings! I work retail part time and on break from school at Northeastern. I am available most days and have a few shifts a week. I’m free for morning and night walks and for dog sitting too! I will cater to the dogs needs and adjust how I act depending on visual signs. I’m ready to run and puppy around to get out energy. I’m prepared for a dog who is scared and will take time to get use to me.

About: I've had pets of all ages for my entire life—cats and dogs as well as birds, fish, bunnies, rats... I am a huge animal lover—and it has a lot to do with my upbringing <3 My mom was the kind of person who would never kill a spider and instead gently scoop it up with a piece of paper and shuttle it outside to safety. I was lucky enough to grow up right on the ocean in Nova Scotia, surrounded on the other 3 sides by woods. So much wildlife! One time my mom found an injured Great Blue Heron in our yard, and somehow got it into our car and drove it to the vet, even though it pecked at her from the back seat the whole time lol! (The vet was able to mend its broken leg and release it back into the wild!) All this to say, looking after animals has always been a huge part of my life. I am often the person my friends contact when they need a pet-sitter while they go on vacation. I'm reliable, communicative, and intuitive. I'm always happy to administer medications (having done this for many of my own pets in their later years), follow specific diets and feeding schedules, go for walks, give extra cuddles (or less cuddles), whatever makes the animal and their human comfortable! I'm also happy to water your plants while you're gone, bring in your mail, refill the bird feeder, whatever you need within reason! I'm currently working from home building my coaching business, so I'm very flexible! I can work from anywhere since I do most of my coaching online, and I can set my own hours around your pet's needs. I will treat your fur-babies with as much care and tenderness as I treat my own. Every animal has their own distinct personality and routine, and I'm extremely respectful of each animal's individual needs. I'm constantly aware of how special this pet is to someone. There's a feeling of reverence—we are so lucky to have these amazing creatures in our lives <3

About: Since as early as I can remember I have grown up with dogs, and other animals. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, horses, and some exotic animals as well (small and large animals). I am always ready for a challenge and love spending time with any dog! I have experience in a variety of dog training areas including hunting dogs and service dogs. I am also a pre-veterinary student with basic animal care knowledge! I have worked with a variety of breeds ranging from retrievers and pointers to terriers and toy-breeds. I love working with dogs of all ages and am capable of caring for newborn puppies and your older furry friends! I also have over nine years of house-sitting and pet-sitting experience. Caring for pets is one of my passions so it is easy to make it a part of my daily routine, even while I'm working! Please note, I do work full-time and as such my week-day schedule is typically limited but I am happy to discuss specific options. When caring for your pets they become like my own. I supervise outside time, even if there is a fence and always keep them close!

About: I've always loved all animals. I have not only owned dogs and cats my whole life but have owned ferrets, hedgehogs, birds. I even fostered a baby raccoon once. I am available to house/ pet sit Friday evening through Sunday even. And will be flexible for house/ pet sit other days of the week. I am friendly, professional and flexible. About: I've always been around animals growing up. I've cared for all different kinds of livestock, cats, dogs, and small animals like bunnies and reptiles (no snakes or spiders though yet). And I love every minute of it. I have over 10 years of professional pet caring experience. I've house/pet sat for family members before. And local people in my town. I've also worked and still work in horse boarding barns, small family owned barns, and a local large animal sanctuary. I've even volunteered at my local animal hospital multiple times. I'm always willing to bend to the clients personal request when it comes to caring for their fur babies and homes. Right now I'm still in school until June 8th 2025. I have 3 jobs. One is seasonal and 2 are year around. So my schedule has a lot going on. Luckily my jobs are pretty flexible making things like house/pet sitting doable. I'm a very patient person. So when it comes to dealing with pets and tasks I take things one step at a time. My pets are well loved and know it. I have never gotten a complaint from any past or present client. I am more then willing to communicate different needs and come up with a plan to make your pets and you getting to know me a good and relieving experience. I'm also more then happy to give regular updates and send lots of pictures.

About: I've cared for all kinds of animals including farm animals like chickens and goats to typical house pets, Right down to a sugar glider once I have a wonderful schedule that allows me 3 days off. With school getting ready to pick back up again and winter on its way. I'm looking for a little extra income and what better way than to spend some hours with the best things on the planet, pets! Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are my days off so those are the days I will be available most often. Though, because I don't leave for work until noon, I would be open to morning drop-ins when possible on the weekends. It's important for pets to know they're taken care of fresh food and water. Some play time and company clean litter boxes and walks. Their comfort is key.

About: I have had dogs since I was 7 years old. At one point 1 owned 5 very well behaved and loved dogs. I own one today who is my best friend. I could be your part time pet care/walker. All animals need love and effection along with companionship with people friends and fur friends. Love dogs!!! My dog is very spoiled. We doing 3 to 4 times a week at Dog Mountain. Right now he goes to daycare 2x a week to socialize. Sleeps next to me and goes 95% if time with me.
