About: I’ve always had/been around dogs. With that comes responsibility and loving care. I have experience with all sizes and willing to accommodate any special needs. I’m currently a college student at Murray State, almost all my classes are online besides on Tuesday. My schedule is flexible, we can work out a time/date together. I do go to church on Sunday, so I would need that morning/afternoon off. I am a big cuddle bug. I pay attention to the small details. I enforce rules while trying to add some tricks. I keep the environment light and I try to accommodate in anyway for my clients and their babies(dogs).
About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I can’t imagine life without them! My family has had everything from Great Danes to 2lb Yorkies. I currently have a Great Pyrenees Chocolate Lab puppy under a year old. I’m experienced in senior care and special needs/medication giving. I’ve given pills and liquid medications. I have even assisted with under the skin medication administration. I’ve had an old baby that I had to prepare special food for due to kidney failure requiring a special diet. I’ve had a deaf and partially blind weenie dog. My family dog passed away at 17 years old and was deaf, blind, and required special care. I took in a 15 year old pup with cancer and heart failure that required close monitoring, medications, and special care. I had a pitbull who had a trauma issue and separation anxiety that required special care. All of this to say, I’m not one to shy away from any furbaby! Special needs, senior care, small breed, big breed, I will work with you on whatever you and your furbabies need! I also have two cats myself and am willing to watch cats. I’ve had kittens to old cats and love them all! I would love to care for your babies in whatever capacity you need! I currently work Monday through Friday. I’m available to care for your babies any day of the week before and after work. I may not be available during the entire day, but I will still do everything I can to give your pet(s) all the love and attention they deserve! I normally run errands with my pets, so I’m used to having dogs with me 24/7 if you’re okay with your pet(s) getting out and about a little bit. I can watch your pets at your home for their comfort. I want them to feel safe and cared for while you’re away, whether it be out for the evening or away overnight. I’ll love and care for them just as much as I do my own.
About: Animals have basically been my whole world for as long as I can remember. I grew up around them through my grandpa’s veterinary work and time spent on a working farm, so caring for animals feels second nature to me. I have over 25 years of hands-on experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. At home, I’m fully in my “dog mom era” with my own two pups who I absolutely adore! We snuggle daily, go on walks together, and they’re a huge part of my life. I naturally connect with animals on a really intuitive level and honestly tend to bond with them faster than people most of the time. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, and everything in between, including feeding routines, administering basic care, and recognizing behavior changes. I’m patient, calm, and very attentive to detail, which helps animals feel safe and relaxed with me quickly. What sets me apart is that this isn’t just a service for me, it’s something I genuinely love. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own little pack, and I focus on making sure they feel loved, understood, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I already live and breathe animals. As a pet parent myself, caring for dogs and cats is part of my everyday routine like feeding, walks, playtime, snuggles, and keeping a close eye on their moods and needs. I structure my day in a way that makes it easy to be consistent and dependable for pet care bookings. I’m flexible and organized, so I can plan around visits, walks, or check-ins without rushing or cutting corners. I’m used to early mornings, midday care, and evening routines, so I’m comfortable adjusting to whatever schedule a pet needs. Because of my background growing up around animals on a farm and learning hands-on care through my grandpa’s veterinary work, being attentive to animals feels second nature. I’m always already thinking about things like hydration, comfort, enrichment, and making sure pets feel safe and relaxed. Overall, pet care isn’t something I “fit in” as much as it’s something I naturally build my day around, it’s just part of how I live. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in the owner’s home, my priority is always making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their environment. In the owner’s home, I follow their routine as closely as possible so pets feel secure and stress-free. I stick to feeding schedules, walk times, litter box care, playtime, and any special instructions exactly as provided. I also take time to bond with each pet at their own pace, whether that means energetic play, calm companionship, or quiet space while they warm up to me. If caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, cozy, and supervised environment where they can relax and feel part of the household. I maintain their normal routines, provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and snuggles (if they want them!), and make sure they feel safe and cared for at all times. With over 25 years of animal care experience and a lifetime around pets through farm life and veterinary influence, I’m very attentive to behavior, comfort, and health cues. I treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel understood, secure, and genuinely cared for.
About: I pride myself on going far beyond the bare minimum. I’m detail-oriented and take notes during the initial meeting, so I know EXACTLY how to take care of your fur-baby! Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and even cattle, so I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, sizes, and needs. I have experience with everything from playful puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. My goal is to give your pets the same level of attention and love they’d get from you, so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my life, and I build my schedule around making sure animals get the attention they need. I’m open to overnight stays, which means I can be there for morning feedings, walks, or snuggles before work, and then return in the evenings for dinner, playtime, or bedtime routines. I’m also available most weekends, and I don’t mind spending my days off keeping your pets happy and cared for. Whether it’s early mornings or late nights, , I’m committed to fitting their needs into my routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the detailed notes I take during our initial visit so I can keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I’m flexible with my schedule—whether that means staying overnight or making visits at specific times of day to match their needs. I’m experienced with giving medicine, caring for both energetic young pets and seniors who need extra patience, and making sure they get the right amount of exercise. I also handle cleanup, from litter boxes to accidents, so your home stays tidy while you’re away. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for, just as if you were there yourself.

About: I love pets of all kinds—especially dogs and cats—and I take pride in providing attentive, reliable care while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort, routine, and safety are always my top priorities. I work independently, which allows me to be flexible and responsive with scheduling. I’m dependable, punctual, and happy to accommodate your pet’s routine whenever possible. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. The basics are always priority one: making sure your pet is fed, comfortable, and taken out as needed. From there, we play and engage at their pace. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and I absolutely love my babies. I really love getting to spend time with animals, and even getting to take care of them! I work part time at a cleaning company so I have plenty of time to look after your babies! The only times I ever need is Sundays for church! I go by all of the house rules and feeding plans, and if it is needed, all of the cleaning needed while I am there!
About: I've had pets since I was very young. I started taking care of friends pets and my own since I was 15. I currently have 5 dogs, 8 cats, multiple rats, and 2 ball pythons. I currently work full time but am able to care for your pets in the afternoon and on Fridays and Saturdays. I can also take time off to care for your fur babies if given ample time to ask off or find coverage for my job. I currently cannot do anything in the home I live in as it's not mine and there are too many animals living here, however I am able to care for your pets in your home as I would my own. I respect boundaries from pet parents and will always do things within the rules and boundaries told to me when caring for your fur babies.
About: I will tell you a bit about me and I need to know about your dog as well. Before contacting me about caring for your dog, make sure their profile(s) is completed here on Rover. Upload a picture and submit as much info as you can provide. It helps me determine if your dog is a good fit for what I can provide. About me: Raised in the country surrounded by both family pets and farm animals, caring for critters is second nature to me. I am a doting grandma who lives too far away from my kids to see my grandchildren so I channel that attention toward my Australian Shepherd, Gumbo, and my new puppy, Boo, the Yorki-Poo. After I lost my husband and best friend I found the best way to cope is to help others and keep busy. If I can help you out with your dog or cat while you're away, let me know. I can use the extra income but also I need to feel useful. I keep my fee low. Tips are appreciated. I board at my home in the country near Dukedom, TN. Think of boarding here as bringing your dog to Grandma's house. There will be some spoiling and if pet parents permit, homemade dog cookies! Currently I am home all the time. Your dog will be with me and my dog while here. Gumbo (30 pound neutered male) likes to play fetch or frisbee and we do this daily. I feed my dog early morning (6-7) and early evening (6-7). I give a lot of outside time when weather allows. I give my dog a lot of attention and your dog(s) will get the same. We are a pack and your dog will be part of that pack when he/she stays with us. I live on 6 acres near Dukedom, TN. My large backyard has a chain link fence. If your dog likes to play ball or frisbee this is a great yard to do it in. In addition to the backyard, I have a large field that I keep a path mowed around just for walks but to go there your dog(s) must have excellent recall or be leashed trained very well. I don't want to be pulled around or have to struggle to hold them. Dogs really like going to the field. "No" is the word I use to stop misbehavior. If there is a different word you use, let me know. It is good to know what words/phrases your dog recognizes. It'd be great if you write those down and give it to me. I have carpet throughout my living quarters so PLEASE only housebroken dogs. I give numerous long outdoor time between 5 AM to 9 PM. Potty breaks are every couple of hours. Your pet must be vaccinated! Bordatella vacs are recommended every six-to-twelve months. if your dog frequents places with other dogs, get 6 month vaccine. My dogs are vaccinated. In the warmer months, it is very important that dogs have a flea and tick preventative or have some defense against these nasty bugs because both are out here. I keep grass mowed but they still get on the dogs so make sure they have a preventative. My dogs wear clothing treated with Sawyer flea/tick spray and I have had great success with that method along with a monthly prescribed medicine. Bring your pet's food/bowls/treats along with feeding instructions. Filling out pet profile in depth on Rover helps tremendously! It has an area for vet info and anything I would need to know about your dog can be on their profile! Gumbo has dog toys that he shares but if your dog has a fave, bring it. If your dog must sleep in a bed or crate, bring it. Sometimes a sweater or anything with your scent on it comforts a dog that misses his/her owner. You're welcome to bring that. If he/she has a brush that you want me to use, bring it. I can brush dogs but have no proper facility to bathe. In the summer, I have a small dog pool to cool off in and plenty of shade in the backyard. NO cell service out here so I do not carry my phone with me. I check my messages several times thru the day but I'm not like most that have their phone on them. It does me no good. Many rural people pay for cell service despite not getting it at their homes. I have a landline that works providing my internet service works. If there is anything else you need to know, do not hesitate to ask. I have my profile set to only take in three dogs at a time. I have two so I think five is enough. I am very attentive so rest assured I am keeping a good eye on them.
