About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

About: My mother is a veterinarian with her own practice, so I grew up around an abundance of animals and know plenty about caring for them. My career allows me to choose my own schedule, I don't usually have shifts longer than 5/6 hours long. This allows me to take dogs out for walks or to a dog park, or I can just go home and hang out with my cat. I have a large fenced in yard with access to woods, plenty of local trails for dog walks, local lake of your dog likes to swim. Dogs and cats in my home, but there's a good sized guest bedroom that is kept closed of from the rest of my home if you have a pet that is less friendly with others.

About: I am a current medical student in the area who has had dogs around her for her entire life. I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs of all breeds. I am responsible and quick in an emergency. I am also familiar with lots of walking trails in the area! I am a 4th year medical student with a pretty open schedule. Reach out with any inquiries and I will try to accommodate your needs! For pet sitting, I am available to stay at your home to keep your pet company as well as take them outside as often as needed. I am respectful, responsible, and professional in all spaces.

About: I raised/trained a puppy several years ago, and I've been pet sitting since I was 14. I am also a very active person, and I love running, walking, and playing outside with dogs. I have work shifts no more than a few hours on select days. If your dog cannot be alone for a few hours, I can almost certainly find a friend or family member to watch them while I am out. I am happy to house sit as well if you are on vacation. I will make sure your dog feels comfortable, well loved, and properly entertained. I am very trustworthy and diligent with regards to schedules and special instructions. If boarding, please bring an item from home that your dog feels connected to (could be a bed, favorite toy, blanket, etc).

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was a young girl. They’ve always been a part of my family, so I’m comfortable with everything from dog walking to pet sitting, feeding, and even bathing. Whether it's playing with puppies or giving extra attention to senior dogs, I want to make sure each pet feels comfortable and loved. My schedule is pretty flexible! During the week, I’m available after 5 pm, mostly for dog walks. On weekends, I’m free all day and can help with dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting, or whatever your pet needs. We had a few rotations of sitters to cover the several weeks we were gone (family and a neighbor), and Valerie was definitely the most experienced of them all. Our one cat takes a pill daily, and while he takes it just fine for his mom, he wasn't taking it for the sitters. Valerie came up with safe, creative ways to get him to take his pill. She also left wonderfully detailed check-in notes and was very communicative. We'd highly recommend her if you want peace of mind that someone experienced and compassionate is taking care of your fur children!”

About: I am an animal enthusiast, anyone who knows me would agree. I own two large dogs and come from a family who did some amateur dog breeding, where I learned how to care for dogs from a young age. I used to work for a rescue and daycare, and have experience caring for up to 30 dogs of all sizes, as well as training and rehabilitating rescue dogs for basic commands. I am the go-to person for friends and family for pet care. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I work during the mornings currently, so I have availability for weekend and afternoon care after 2pm for local dogs. I am a grad student and will be on winter break from December 13-Jan 18 and would love to help out with your pets during that time. I am able to board or house sit for farther away pets while on break. I have a fenced-in yard at my house and I also own 20 acres for the trustworthy pups. At your home, I will keep the dog on leashes except for a fenced-in area or until I get to trust them off-leash if that is what the owner prefers. I will always follow the owners' rules for what thier dog needs!

About: I have taken care of my neighbors dogs and cats since I was around 8, (I am now 18), whenever they have needed me. I have always been the most loving animal person and will always take up an opportunity to take care of dogs! I’m currently working part time, and also in school for cosmetology. I am available Sundays and Saturdays all day, and Tuesdays and Thursdays after 3pm. I have grown up owning dogs of all sizes and lots of breeds and I recognize their emotions. About: Hello! I started boarding for Rover when I was at Northeastern University and met so many amazing pups and owners! It's so fun to have a companion to bring with you on outings, swimming, and hiking. I honestly think joining Rover is one of the best decisions I've made! In June 2020 I finally adopted a puppy of my own, Rhubarb! She's very friendly and loves playing with other dogs and cats. I'm excited to be offering pet care services again, and think that Rhubarb will be a great companion to any pet who might stay with us.
