About: I have had dogs my entire life and have pet sat for lots of my neighbors and family friends. About: I have always loved animals I have a 7 year old lab that I have been taking care of since we got him. I have always had a heart for animals I walk my dog at least once a day 7 times a week and I feed him and put fresh water in his bowl. When I have to I’ll give him a bath too I have a couple neighbors that always go out of town and I watch there dogs for them. And have never had any trouble with that

About: Note: Currently partially away from services for personal reasons, will mainly be taking cat-sitting at the moment. I've taken care of neighbors, family, and friends cats since I was 8, including not only basic indoor cat pet feeding and care but providing medication and additional care to elderly and disabled cats (ex: one of my neighbors cats had hyperthyroidism). From around the age of 12, I also have experience walking and house sitting for neighbors dogs too, once again also including some health issues. I've also taken care of my own cats for years. I've never had issues with other peoples pets, particularly cats being wary of me either: typically even skittish cats warm up to me extremely quickly. I'm currently working as a graduate student, so while I'm busy during the week, I have the flexibility to adjust my working time to accommodate walks, checking on pets, feeding times, etc, and my weekends are completely open. I am engaging and loving with your pet. I am more than happy to meet your expectations and needs for you furry friend and will work with you on what is best needed for your pet when taking care of them in your home and on walks. I additionally recognize some pets take time to acclimate to a new person, and one of the most important things to me is making sure to take time to let your pet be comfortable with me, rather than approaching them too quickly (obviously this is typically more applicable to cats, but true regardless).

I am so grateful to have never experienced life without dogs and I can't imagine life without a them now, but being a college student makes it difficult to have my own. I have been thoroughly involved in training puppies for my family members (just the basics: house training, sit, shake, recall, etc.) and took a brief dog psychology lesson my freshman year of college, so puppies are absolutely no problem for me! I also assisted in caring for my family dogs their whole lives, giving me experience with larger breeds and with senior dogs as they got older. Right now, I'm a student at Montana State University. I do have class throughout the day, but typically I have a break for a few hours earlier in the afternoon. I also have a job in the evenings, so unfortunately I can't give dogs who need constant supervision or attention the time they need. I still have plenty of time for independent, lower maintenance pups :) Thanks to my flexible schedule, I am available to feed, play with, walk, and love your pup any time of the day! I am an avid hiker, and am more than happy to take your babies on hikes as long as they're comfortable with, whether that means an 8 mile trek through the woods or just a walk around the block.
