About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am a teacher and I am looking for summer work. I am free every day until late August. I am willing to walk your dog in your neighborhood or board a dog over night. I have a stake in my yard for when my daughter visits with her 35 lb. Dog. Previous bigger dogs were walked on a leash at all times. I usually walk my dogs 1-2x daily for up to a 1/2 hour.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes from a very genuine place in my heart. I have over 10 years of experience with dogs and have cared for my own, including Coco, who I adopted at 4 months old and is now 8, and Heidi, who is 7. I also helped care for Nico, a Pomeranian, and Nina, a Chihuahua, for 3 years, along with pet sitting for multiple dogs in clients’ homes in Austin, Texas. My dogs are incredibly special to me and have been emotional support companions through so much in my life, which is why I deeply understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. I know they are not just pets, they are family. I recently moved from Austin, Texas to Hamilton, New York, and I’m excited to help local pet parents with drop-in visits and walks. I am very responsible, attentive, and understand that every dog has different needs. I always do my best to follow care instructions closely, provide updates and pictures, and make each visit as personalized as possible. I also prefer meeting dogs with their owner first when possible, so everyone feels comfortable. My goal is to make you feel confident that your dog will be safe, loved, and very well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work managing my own cleaning and management business from home which gives me flexibility in my schedule. Right now I offer drop-in visits and walks only, so I care for pets in the comfort of their own home where they feel most familiar and safe. I always want to follow the owner’s routine and instructions as closely as possible, because I know every dog is different. For drop-in visits, I can help with potty breaks, fresh water, feeding, playtime, and companionship. For walks, I make sure dogs are safe, comfortable, and getting the attention and exercise they need. I’m also happy to send picture updates so owners can feel at ease while they’re away. My goal is to make every visit feel dependable, caring, and personalized.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I spending time with animals, whether that’s walking or relaxing! I am very used to giving care because I have worked summer camps for 4 years now. I am also a division 1 athlete so I am able to walk long distances for energetic pups! For the time being, I am free all day! Once summer camps begin I will be available in fhe morning before camps (5-7am) and after camps (5-9pm). I will arrive to your house with plenty of energy, time, and focus for your pup! I will also make sure they are comfortable before I leave!

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I have grown up around pets my whole life! Dogs, cats. I loved getting to know them all and take care of them. There personalities are all different much like a human and I am always excited to see who they really are. I am looking to get a part time job within the next two weeks. So more than not I will be able to watch and play with my new friends more! I have been around many dogs before even ones that are more aggressive. Over time I have started to learn the signs of two dogs who are uncomfortable with each other. I would never leave a dog with another dog that isn’t comfortable. I can crate the dog or have them there at different times.

About: I’ve lived and taken care of dogs and cats my whole life and have had multiple temporary dog sitting jobs. Jobs including; walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I’m working part time but am free many days of the week. I’m available mostly in the afternoon and night hours. If needed, I am able to work around some mornings. I have a fenced in yard in which my dogs run freely around. My clients dogs will be well cared of under my supervision and I will listen to any instructions necessary.

About: I’ve taken care of everything from small cats to wolf dogs. I will be able to take care of your pets, they will be happy with me. I typically only work in the early morning at my regular job so I will have plenty of time for your furry babies. I can either stay with them or do check ins a few times per day. About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. I believe we can learn more about our own humanity through caring for animals. I look forward to meeting your amazing furry friends! In addition to Rover, I substitute teach right now, and this allows me to have a very flexible schedule. It's closer to part-time than full-time. About: Who better than a veterinarian to take care of your best buddies while you're away? I am a new DVM graduate, and am happy to take care of your pets, no matter how old or young, especially those with special needs! I am certified in dog/cat CPR, and am comfortable providing any care needed. *Please note*: My providing pet sitting/dog walking/pet care services does NOT constitute a VCPR, and I cannot provide medical advice unless a VCPR is explicitly established in accordance with NY State Law* I prefer to stay in the client's home especially for dogs as this is generally much more comfortable for the dog to stay in their own environment. How many visits are there per day? The number of visits is determined by you, the pet owner. Normally, cats require only one or two visits per day, unless medications need to be given. Dogs usually have two to three visits per day at morning, midday and evening, but the number of visits and time of visits are at the client's discretion. 2. How long are the visits? The length of each visit depends on the client's needs. The average visit lasts 30-45 minutes, but longer visits may be requested and the price would be adjusted accordingly. 3. Will you provide services other than animal care? I can also bring in the mail, open/close blinds as needed, take out the trash, clean litter boxes as needed, turn lights on or off, etc. to provide your house the security it needs while you're away. 4. What will happen if my pet becomes ill while I am away? You will sign a vet release form at the time of the first visit. If you're pet becomes ill while you are away, I will contact you first, unless I deem it to be an emergency. What if you are ill and can't take care of my pets? If I have an emergency or become ill, my fiancé and my cousin are my backups. They both love dogs just as much as I do and are both very experienced, and will make sure your pet receives the same love and attention as well as the specific services you requested. Make arrangements at this time to pay in advance for any services that may be required. - Have ample supplies for pet care: food, treats, meds, litter, puppy pads, toys, etc. - Have ample cleaning supplies available. - Notify your neighbors and the neighborhood watch group that I will be caring for your pets. Please give them my phone number. - Leave my name and phone number with others who will also be coming into your home while you are away. - Have timers on lamps throughout the house that will come on and go off as close to your routine as possible. - Leave an outside and an inside light on for me if our first visit will be after dark. - Be sure you have my cell phone number and email address with you at all times. PLEASE CONSIDER: - If my only access to your home is by using the garage door code and the power goes out, how will I get in to care for your pets? I really will need a house key. - If you have given me limited access to your pets by only giving me access to the garage or the yard, how will I be able to properly care for your pet in an emergency? How will I know for sure that all things are fine within the home i.e. no break in, water leaks, etc.? ALWAYS: - Be sure your pet sit dates have been confirmed with me. Call me when: - Your departure day or time has changed. - Your arrival day or time has changed. - You have arrived home. - If you have an emergency and must leave town immediately, please be sure to call and leave me a message. Be sure to give me a number where I can reach you to confirm that I have received the message and let you know that your pets will be taken care of.
