About: My name is Julia! I’m new to Rover but not new to dog sitting! I have a dog named Dixie. Dixie is a Miniature Australian Shepherd and loves to play! We love to do everything together including car rides, going to the park, stores, walks, games, and enrichment activities! I have raised dogs my whole life but now I have Dixie. I am a huge worrier about leaving my dog with someone so I understand how important it is to have a safe place for your dog while you work or have vacations and that’s what I’m here for! I think it’s important to give dogs their best life possible 🤍 All dogs must be up-to-date on their flea and heartworm medicine. For Daycare: I currently work full time. I am off on Tuesdays so I can take some bookings on Tuesdays. I am pretty open on the weekends. When I go out, I bring Dixie everywhere with me, so I can bring yours too! For Boarding: I can take dogs for boarding, however on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays your dog would have to be crated for about 3-4 hours in the afternoon since no one will be home. Saturday and Sunday boarding I would be home all day! I have a fenced yard with certain areas blocked off that Dixie or other dogs should not go into. My gate is locked. I walk Dixie once or twice a day and play outside with her. I hangout inside when it’s hot out and play inside the house! I always make sure there is water and of course plenty of treats available!

About: I grew up with dogs and have cared for them professionally for over five years through pet sitting, dog walking, veterinary hospitals, and boarding/daycare. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and provide loving attention to their pets, whether for a quick visit or extended stays. About: Ever since I was little, I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, and even a rooster at one point! Ever since I can remember, animals have always held a special place in my heart. I have two sons of my own, and my goal is to care for your fur babies the way I would want someone to care for mine! I just finished working a summer in Alaska, and currently have no winter job lined up, so your fur baby will have all of my undivided attention, and of course they will be showered in love! I have plenty of free time to hangout with your fur baby, and will treat them as if they’re my own while in my care. My goal is for both you and your fur baby to feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m very attentive when it comes to body language, and always do my best to make sure the comfort of my client and or clients fur baby comes first.

About: I’ve had my own animals and helped care for family and friend’s animals since I was young. (30+ years!) I am a runner/walker for more active animals but also love snuggles or calm indoor play. I’m comfortable with all ages of cats, dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, and more! I currently work a flexible part-time schedule and prioritize getting outside daily, so I’d be happy to bring your dog along for my walks or make time for indoor play as well! I like to send photos and updates to pet parents to let you know your fur babies are being well-loved. I have a reliable vehicle for bringing them to a park or larger space if needed.

About: Hi! I’m 20 and am currently a student at UNM! I’ve have cared for dogs and cats since I was 5. I’ve helped with bathing, basic training, and often take dogs on mountain hikes and other adventures! I’m kind, responsible, and love animals of all sizes. I have lots of free time this summer and would love to keep your pet happy, active, and loved while you’re away! I have a flexible summer schedule, so I’m available for drop-ins, walks, or extended care throughout the week -I love making pets part of my daily routine! I live in a safe, gated home with a large, private, and secure backyard perfect for play and potty breaks, and I am also just a short walk away from downtown parks and pet-friendly spots for our outings. I currently have a six year old cat that requires special care and attention, and I regularly take care of her senior cousin who requires daily shots.
