About: I spent a lot of time volunteering at a rescue shelter. I started off with the basics; walking, socializing, playing and being a friend. I eventually became more involved and had a great time doing it. I helped with social media, took photos of the dogs, assisted with adoption and fundraising events, foster care and the biggest experience of all was the time I went along on a road trip to South Carolina to rescue dogs from shelters and bring them back to Vermont for adoption. For many reasons, that is an adventure I will never forget. I'm available most weekdays and some weekends. I'm flexible, so times can be discussed. My home is clean, safe and comfortable; the perfect home away from home. There's a spacious finished basement that the dogs can use for playing with toys or just hanging out. About: I'm someone who enjoys being around dogs and I love being able to make them happy. I have experience owning large and small dogs. I make sure to get them the exercise, play, and attention they need (and deserve)! I currently work from home and have availability during the work day to take breaks and get outside (rain or shine). I have my own dog so it is part of my routine to spend time caring for her. I live in a cold-a-sac neighborhood and have over a half acre of land. I enjoy playing fetch with dogs, walking with them, or just sitting side by side being buddies. I make sure they are fed enough and always have water in their bowls!

About: As a dog owner myself I fully understand how important they are to your family. My husband & I have been in our “pet parents” era for 5 years now, so I’m sure you can only imagine how spoiled our Georgia girl is. When you hire me, you’re getting someone who’s going to treat your dog exactly as their own. I want to see their little wiggly butts & all of their cute tricks when they are in my care. I always offer a meet & greet so I can learn about their dislikes/likes , favorite toys and scratches & all of the cute things you love about them and or maybe naughty things they do before I take care of them so I can offer a safe & familiar environment! I have 10+ years of experience with drop ins, day care & dog walking. Rover has given me the opportunity to make new furry friends & to continue being active outside during all 4 of VT seasons. I work remote Monday through Friday at my home here in St. Albans and I have the flexibility to take breaks when needed and can be present while caring for the pets. I have a huge back yard where I live and a very sweet dog named Georgia that loves to cuddle & go for daily walks. We are a very pet friendly home. Dogs will be tucked in while sleeping.

About: Hello!! I have two furry babies of my own ( a lab and husky) and they both have unlimited energy! My fiancé and I are a very active couple. We have a 2 acre fenced in yard at our home! I love watching a variety of dogs ( small to large) and both of my dogs love to play with other dogs! For the dogs I have watched, I send daily photos and updates as needed. You’re dog would get the utmost attention here( nightly cuddles and daily activities) to reduce stress while traveling! If you have any questions or concerns you are welcome to ask! I make my own schedule and my fiancé works from home! He is always home to care for the needs of our dogs and yours! I always take the dogs out and for a walk in the morning and then feed them. My fiancé will take them out intermittently throughout the day as needed. Typically when I come home we will go for another walk

“I would highly recommend Dawn to take care of your fur baby; she cared for my rambunctious Goldendoodle as if he were her own. She is conveniently located in a quaint neighborhood that has limited traffic and no unleashed dogs; so, in addition to getting exercise in Dawn’s fenced in backyard, my puppy got exercise when Dawn walked around the neighborhood. After playing with toys supplied by Dawn, my dog cozied up to her dog for a nap. I was so hesitant to leave my precious baby with a complete stranger (he’s my first ever dog and I love him so much), but after meeting Dawn, I felt completely at ease entrusting her to take the greatest care of him. I am willing to give medication to animals if needed. I have two big dogs and cats of my own. I am comfortable with a wide variety of animals from pocket pets to farm animals.
