About: My dogs have been with me for 5 years now, I’ve gone through the puppy stage with them so I understand how to care for dogs under certain circumstances. I also volunteer at the animal shelter! I’m also trained in giving dogs insulin shots! I’m usually available for dog walking and check ins every weekday in the afternoon and occasionally on weekends! I’m currently enrolled at Penn State Berks in their college of Smeal. I’m away for college so no pets currently live with me since they’re all at home. My availability is Monday-Thursday after 2:30 pm, Fridays after 11:30 am, and weekends occasionally! I’m always open to adjusting anything I need to make your dogs feel more comfortable! My dogs are personally walked everyday and get enrichment at home on rainy days!

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I have worked with animals professionally since I was 16 years old and have spent the past three years working in animal shelters as a Behavior Specialist, helping dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments feel comfortable, safe, and successful. In addition to my shelter experience, I have four years of pet-sitting experience caring for dogs, cats, and other household pets. My background in animal behavior allows me to recognize body language, reduce stress, and provide individualized care based on each pet's unique needs. Whether your pet loves adventure, needs extra patience, or simply enjoys a consistent routine, I am committed to providing safe, compassionate, and reliable care while you're away. i’m currently working full time and have off on sundays and monday. On the days i work, i work 9-5:30 sometimes getting done earlier on occasion. I currently have a whole separate room to separate cats from my own. I work in animal welfare and know how important sanitization is a well.

About: I love playing, loving, and just spending time with animals. For as long as I’ve remembered there’s always been pets in my home. I will treat your babies as if they’re my own. Whatever you need done, I’ll be there and I’ll do it with care and grace. Currently I only work about 20 hours a week and have a lot of time to spare. I can drop in to check on your animals at anytime, and I can take them on long walks (or shorter if necessary), during the day or evening 3/4 times a week. Even on my work days, I will be available all morning for whichever services you need. I live in a development with a lot of space to walk dogs, I also have my own car for transportation whenever necessary. I’m very familiar with giving any kind of medication to animals, and/or feeding and walks on time.

I’ve used Marie twice for daycare at her home and twice for drop in visits and walks at our home. The first time we met, she showed me her home, the fenced in yard, I met her children and Amber. She responds promptly when I request services, I always get photos and a map when she walks my home. Ruby (my Havanese) is always happy to see her, so that tells me everything. I highly recommend Marie (plus her photos are great)!!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wernersville

Amber was absolutely incredible with my family’s dog Moana. It’s clear that Amber’s empathy expands to humans and animals alike. I had requested Amber to walk the dog while my elderly father recovered from back surgery alone at his home. This was our first time working with Amber and she treated us like she’d known us for decades. Not only is Amber extremely professional, she goes above and beyond with extra care to provide timely updates and photos of her visits which shows her consideration for our pets and for the peace of mind for their owners. Amber doesn’t rush her walks with Moana and is sure to give her the same level of attention and care in each visit, no matter how many times we ask her to come throughout the day. Amber made sure Moana was fed and cared for - even if that took a little longer - so that my father could recover safely without risk to further injury for his back to bend or stoop for a rambunctious dog. She would even add notes to pass along the quick convos with our Dad while he recovered at home, which was an added value to her visits. My siblings and I are so grateful to have found Amber on Rover and to have the trust and peace knowing our Moana was in good hands throughout this otherwise stressful time. We cannot recommend Amber enough to care for your furry family member.

  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
