“I just wanted to take a moment to share my fantastic experience with Melissa, who took care of my dog, Sky. From the get-go, it was clear that Melissa is an absolute dog lover! When I dropped Sky off, she instantly made me feel at ease. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing. Melissa has three dogs of her own, and they were all friendly and welcoming. It didn’t take long for Sky to fit right in and start playing with them. I loved how well they got along; it was a great relief to see my pup so happy and engaged with other dogs. When I picked Sky up, she was exhausted but so joyful! It was obvious she had an awesome time with Melissa and her dogs. I couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver for my furry friend. “Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”
