“Kathleen took great care of our senior cat and our home. She navigated some technical challenges with our alarm system with professionalism and good humor. Highly recommend. Will definitely re-book.”

“Amy was amazing! She took incredible care of my 4 little ones, including my special needs dog, while I traveled for a long, stressful weekend. She gave regular updates and clearly cared for my pets like her own. I couldn’t be happier!”

“Bria was fantastic. This was our first time booking with her and the meet and greet went smoothly. She took excellent care of both Hampton and Neko and kept our home clean and tidy. We felt completely at ease while we were away. We are already looking forward to having her sit for us again soon. Highly recommend.”

“Allison was amazing with our pittie mix rescue who was a stray for 2 years and can be anxious and skittish. She immediately loved Allison (more so than she even loves us, I was joking with my husband) and even went to sleep while Allison was watching her which is unheard of for our dog. Highly recommend, Allison is truly a dog whisperer!”

“Victoria is absolutely amazing! I’ve hired her multiple times and she takes incredible care of my pets. My cat who is usually very shy warmed up to her and even sat on her lap! He doesn’t do that with anyone but me which speaks volumes of how caring Victoria is and how safe he feels around her. She is the best sitter and I highly recommend her!”

About: NOTE: BASED OUT OF BURLINGTON, VT FOR THE COLLEGE SEASON I’ve owned and cared for dogs, cats, and everything in-between for as long as I can remember. From pit-bulls to terriers, handicapped chickens to one eyed kittens and animals with at least 8 legs, i’ve seen it all. Apart from caring for my own dogs, cats, and other pets over the years, I did freelance petsitting and dog walking in and around my neighborhood for around seven years, ranging from dog walks while the owner was at work, to late night cat feedings and prescription medication administration, to trying to give a rabbit a bath. I have a high level of experience caring for both puppies/kittens and elderly dogs and cats, having worked to foster puppies and kittens with my local ASPCA for nearly a decade as well as helped raise and train one of my family dogs, and care for my elderly, disabled dog in her later years. I also have background training with the ASPCA regarding animal safety (specifically reactive or defensive dogs) and basic dog and cat body language, crucial aspects of keeping everyone involved healthy and happy! I’m currently a college student home for the summer- my schedule is very open and very flexible, depending on the individual needs of the animal. I can match whatever level of energy your pet needs within the home- whether it be constant cuddles and attention, hours of playtime, or just an omniscient hand filling the food bowl and grabbing the leash! I’m comfortable administering oral or topical medications, able to control and crate dogs if the need arises, and (i’d like to think) i’ve learned some pretty good strategies to stop unwanted barking late at night over the years. I value the mental and physical comfort of the animal i’m caring for first and foremost, whether that means hands on attention or a more quiet, calm approach to time spent with your pet. I’m willing to care for and spend time with shy or reactive dogs as long as they’re within my size range. Having owned both a very senile, timid dog and a very reactive, defensive dog, it’s important to me that they receive the amount of care and attention in the home they deserve :)

“Garrett was so great with my two very high maintenance dogs. I had a crazy busy family wedding out of town and never had to worry about my pups. Garret texted often and I knew they were well cared for. Would absolutely book again!”

“Asia took great care of our pup, Juniper, as well as our house. She was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Our flights kept changing and Asia was flexible and made sure Juniper wouldn’t be left alone too long waiting, especially while there were thunderstorms (which scare Juniper). We came home to a happy healthy pup!”

“Amanda was awesome! She took great care of my senior dogs and left my home cleaner than it was when I left for vacation. Amanda communicated with me during my trip to let me know the pups were ok and even picked up a few toys for my sweet boy. Will definitely work with Amanda again!”

“Elizabeth was amazing! She was so good with our three dogs and cat. They are a handful and we worry leaving them with new people but Elizabeth put our minds at ease with frequent updates and photos. She stayed at our house and left it cleaner than she found it! She really thought of everything to make sure our late arrival home was as smooth as possible. Would 100% recommend Elizabeth!”

About: What makes me different is the calm, personalized care I give every dog. I take the time to learn what makes them feel safe and happy—whether that’s a slow walk, a cozy spot to nap, or a little extra playtime. I’m also comfortable giving medications and following special routines if needed. I’m reliable, easygoing, and always keep you updated, so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands. I’m currently between jobs so I’m available whenever. I do photography on the side at some different race tracks. When I’m not doing photography I’m in my back yard playing with my three dogs or I’m in the house with the cats. I have a fenced in yard that I let my dogs run and play in. I take my puppy for long walks to burn our energy out before taking him to Starbucks to get a pup cup and go back home for a nap.

About: I had two dogs growing up so I have been around them my whole life. I currently have a golden retriever that lives with me as well. I have dog-sat a basset hound since he was a puppy as well as a miniature dachshund and helped train them. I have a lot of patience so puppies are no issue! I also love getting my steps in so long walks are okay with me! I am okay with going to your residence or bringing your dog to mine as long as they are friendly! (There are good trails to walk where I live and I have a private dog park as well) I am currently on summer break from college so I am around every day other than a vacation I have planned. When school starts back up at the end of August my schedule will be a little less open. I have a golden retriever that gets along with other animals very well!! I am very respectful of others homes and will make sure to follow all instructions given.

About: Lover of all animals - cat owner + dog lover. Not shy to snakes, lizards, etc. The cuddlier the better. Trusted by human and animal parents for years. I work from home and can take breaks during the day as needed. Happy to work from your home as well. Evenings and weekends are generally available. I know it’s hard to trust someone in your home, and taking care of your family. I am respectful, communicative, and timely to a fault.

“Alyson did such a smooth and seamless job staying with my very shy and neurotic rescue dog. She was endlessly patient and coaxed Bear out until she was comfortable spending time together- by the end of my trip, they were besties. Alyson sent me frequent updates and cute pics, so I could relax during my trip. She and her boyfriend are the best.”

“Only good things to say about Josue. We normally have friends or family watch our dog, Maddie, so we were a little apprehensive using a pet sitting service. But once Maddie met him we knew everything would be fine. She gave him boyfriend eyes the whole time. While we were away Josue was easy to get in touch with, he was reliable, took out the trash, walked her on schedule, kept the house clean. So happy we found him, I think our days of asking favors from friends are over!”

About: As a former dog owner, I’ve played a crucial role in nurturing our furry friends. Meeting all essential needs- and more- I have skills in training, caring for, and loving animals as they deserve. Coming from a pet-loving family, my experience dates back to my formative years. I am a graduate student and therapist, with enough flexibility and autonomy within my schedule to treat your pet with TLC! Thursdays-Mondays are my most flexible times, depending upon the service requested. Let’s chat and figure out what works best so your pet is cared for when you are away. I live in a pet-friendly community with ample outdoor space to go on walks. The phrase, mi casa es su casa, applies to all of my guests - even my 4-legged friends. Your pet is allowed to enjoy the space fully, and can also be crated per the owner’s request based on the dog’s usual routines.

“Ethan did a great job dog sitting for us. He is honest, reliable, trustworthy, and followed all of our instructions. Our 2 dogs seemed very happy and well cared for. During the three days he sat, we had a power outage and a water leak which he handled with ease and kept in contact with us. Thank you Ethan, we will be using you again!”

Paul R.
“Loved Paul’s service ! Made my puppy Bruce feel right at home with his long walks and gave me updates on how he was doing daily! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Mandi B.
“Mandi is AMAZING! She handled my allergy-prone and high energy dogs with total care. I’m very selective about who watches my dogs (Aspen and Jax). I can be a little nervous leaving them in someone else’s care. Mandi was the perfect dog sitter, and I can’t recommend her enough. She’s adaptable, smart, and incredibly kind. The dog with allergies had absolutely no issues, and the high-energy one was tired when I got back, so I knew they had a great day. She even took them to the park and made sure they were fed only after they’d calmed down, which I really appreciated since GDV is one of my biggest fears. My dogs love everyone, but the way they watched her leave told me they saw her as part of the family. For anyone looking for a highly trustworthy petsitter, Mandi is the best.”

Ariel M.Star Sitter
“I highly recommend Ariel as a pet sitter! Having personally witnessed her incredible dedication to her own puppy, I can confidently say that your pet will be in the best hands. Ariel went above and beyond, ensuring that her dog not only got plenty of exercise but also received proper training and endless TLC. Beyond her natural empathy and love for animals, Ariel is also exceptionally organized, a skilled communicator, and attentive to every detail. She’s trustworthy, reliable, and would treat your pet as if it were her own! I can’t recommend her enough!”

Wellwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
We are so thankful we found Talayia to watch our two dogs and cat for overnight stays! She really came through for us at the last minute when we were in a tough spot of our last sitter cancelling. She communicated with us daily and sent us picture updates which put us at ease for the two weeks we were gone. She also kept our plants alive and our house was kept clean. Thank you so much for everything!!

Amanda was fantastic! She came over and helped me out at the last minute. She treated my dog as if he were her own and made me feel completely at ease. She took him to the dog park, followed all my instructions, and sent me pictures and wonderful updates. She was truly an excellent sitter! I highly recommend her!

Michelle stayed at my house and cared for my 2 senior dogs and 2 cats for a week. She was wonderful. She gave my pets their food and medicines daily, took the dogs for walks on schedule and was respectful to my home. I highly recommend her and will definitely hire her again in the future.

Leah and Shawn are the sweetest people- they were nice enough to do a meet and greet with my Rottie and I the day before I requested them to watch her for the day and were friendly, professional and on time. The day of, Leah sent me updates with pics throughout the day, which really helped me focus at work. I had been working remotely for over 4 years, and my Rottweiler Zara, who already suffers from diagnosed separation and general anxiety, was having a hard time without me home. Leah's sweet and calming demeanor really put Zara at ease, and they were able to hang out for several hours together without incident. She even went out of the house with her, even just for a 5 minute walk, which she typically never does without me or my husband due to her anxiety and depression when I'm not with her. I'm excited to see Zara bloom in her care as we continue to use Leah's services!

Josue was amazing with our Malamute during a 2 week trip! Malamutes can be a difficult breed but our pup took to Josue immediately. Josue took great care of our dog and house while we were gone, and we will happily work with him again for any future travel!
