About: I am a volunteer and foster for a local animal rescue program of the triad. I currently have 3 dogs and a foster dog, who I am adopting. Love to play with dogs and walk them :). I am very flexible and can definitely work around your schedule. I am retiring from my job, and looking for something that I can say I love to do, which is be around animals and take care of them. Whether you need someone to stop in and let them out or take them for a walk or jog, I am your go to sitter. The one thing I don't want is for the pet owner to worry or stress about leaving their animal. Rest assured I will take excellent care of your animal. Whether it be a walk around the neighborhood, throwing the ball, or cuddles on the couch, I am available for all of these needs.

Rest easy on your vacation, long day (or night!) at work, or whatever the case may be: I’m always here for you. I absolutely love dogs and animals. I've had dogs all my life; I am very comfortable with all the different breeds of dogs. Throughout my childhood, I usually had anywhere between 2 to 3 dogs at any given time; at this point in my life I have two pets of my own. My oldest dog is a 5 pound Yorkshire Terriers named Denim age 10+. My second dog is a 10 pound Maltese Poodle named Windsor age 3+. I have a lot of help and support from my boyfriend Michael when it comes to taking care of our pups, so expect a dynamic duo when it comes to your pets. I am currently enrolled in college and I am actively working on finishing my second Associates’ degree in Interior Design, graduation date Spring 2020. From there I plan on finishing my Bachelors in Fine Arts in Interior Architecture expected graduation date 2022. I am a very active person I go on long walks, hikes, jogs, and runs so your dog will be perfect company for me. We can go on leashed walks throughout Lake Thom-A-Lex Park or throughout my residential neighborhood. When staying at my house your dog will get plenty of tender, love, and care. They will have oodles of attention and fun. My goal is to tire them out so when it’s time to go home to you their ready for bed. I work from home so I will provide 24-hour supervision to your dog. I appreciate active communication and will provide regular updates and feedback on your pet. I welcome the same. I am a very responsible person, who is very reliable and understanding, I will accommodate the specific needs of both you and your dog. Working with Rover I have had the opportunity to care for an even greater variety of fur babies. I understand that dogs are part of your family and I would love to care for them as if they were part of my own. I have experience with dogs losing their sight and hearing.

Working from home gave me many hours to gain the skills and experience needed to train and bond with my dog, Wally. I’ve had professional experience in the animal care field, including working at a veterinary clinic and spending the last three years at a doggy daycare—starting as a playroom counselor and working my way up to management. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments—from nervous and fearful pups to the most outgoing and energetic ones. I’m especially passionate about French Bulldogs and have two of my own! I also live with a roommate who has two German Shorthaired Pointers, so I’m very familiar with high-energy breeds and pack dynamics. Whether your dog needs a calm, patient presence or an enthusiastic play buddy, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for—no matter how long it takes to earn their trust (and tail wags!).
