She followed all my instructions and never had to get ahold of me for anything! She sent us daily pictures and we felt comfortable knowing she was tending to our girls! About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

“Emma was great! Responsive, responsible, and great with my pup! I'm a sitter myself on Rover, so my bar is pretty high and I'm quite picky with who I let into my hope and who I ask to watch my dog. Emma was all green flags right away. She made it easy to set up a meet-and-greet. Came over and let me take the time to go over all the particulaties of the space (there were many) -- I've recently moved into my Grandma's home, as she died a few months back. Her keepsakes and belongings are still everywhere in the space, And I thought it would be nerve-wracking to let someone into that space with so many priceless (to me) items were still all over the place. Emma heard me out and made me feel confident that she understood where I was coming from and how special the space was to me. After an hour with Emma, I was totally at ease. My dog took to her right away, and I'm sure yours will too! Book Emma while you still can! As a sitter myself, I finally have another person to refer my clients to when I'm not available (it took years to find someone I'd trust with my clients). Emma will be my go-to when I'm out of town, and she should be yours too.”

About: As someone who grew up on a farm and winery in the hills of Auburn, caring for animals is nothing foreign to me! Since I could walk I’ve been tending to all sorts of animals, cows, horses, ducks, chickens, birds and of course plenty of dogs and cats. I’ve been a groomer, doggy daycare group leader and trainer for going on five years. I am always eager to find ways to help others take care of their furry friends as it’s always been my passion! I’m working part time at a dog resort as a lodging assistant, groomer, and activities leader. My availability for them is Thursday through Sunday 6-3 however I’m taking a step back from the resort due to driving distance. My other days primarily I am participating in nature walks, river days, rock climbing with friends and working on my music! I’m very energetic and like to be constantly moving! Adventurous to the core For my kitty, she has a schedule. 6 am breakfast, 12 pm lunch, 6pm dinner. If she has medication it’s given first thing in the morning. I de shed her about once a week and get her groomed about every 6 months to a year. She is an outdoor explorer so when I’m taking her out I slip on her harness and collar. I have a travel backpack to take her in for larger adventures too. If I’m gone for longer periods of time I keep her in an enclosed area or have someone care for her.

About: I have always had many animals growing up, I've taken care of little dogs and big dogs, over 90 bunnies, chickens, horses, cows, alpacas, goats at once. I lived on a ranch most of my life where I had at most, 40 goats, 4 cows, 5 horses, many dogs, many cats, 30 chickens on average, 10 alpacas. Cats are my favorite animal. I have pet sit before on many occasions. Not that it helps on this app but I have gave medicine, tended to, bandaged, cut out of fences( some animals get caught in fences), and birthed animals. I am very familiar with there needs and have a hard working, loving attitude. I am open to any schedule, please message me for details. Same day scheduling is just alright with me. Scheduling in advance is much appreciated. Open to all animals. When I take care of your pets, I take care of them like my own and with attention to detail. I am loving to them and make sure to meet all of your and their needs. I am respectful to the home and leave it exactly how I entered. Additionally I pick up after them and do any in home care such as cleaning and throwing out the trash if necessary. I stay in contact and respond very quickly for a safe and trusting environment.

About: I've never had a period longer than a year where there weren't at least 2 dogs living in my house. I've walked them, brushed them, fed them, gave them water, the whole shebang. Big and small dogs are both welcome I work at Domino's often in the afternoons and evenings, but will always make sure your dog(s) have what they need beforehand and will be there at night for any late-night "issues" I'm probably going to spoil your dog with attention, making sure he or she is always happy amd content when I am there, and will always make sure there is food, water, and bathroom time

About: I have had every assortment of pets since I was a little kid. Lots of experience watching dogs, cats, horses, etc. from young to old! My schedule is a typical Monday through Friday nine to five so I am available outside of those hours. I’m happy to pop in for morning and night feedings or walks. Or can host dogs in my home that are reliable to be left alone for that period of time. I have 5 unfenced acres in the area. And am able to travel in the vicinity to your home for in home care and walks
