“Dee is flexible, pays attention to detail and really wants to get to know my dog. She sent pictures of their time together and my dog seemed @at home” with her. I’ll definitely use her services again. I was able to totally enjoy my family vacation knowing that my dog was well cared for. Thank you Dee!”

“Leaving my two Aussie ladies with this family was an easy decision. They were very responsive, sent photos and updates, and let my young Aussie sleep with them. Their dog also played so well with the young Aussie!!”

“Robin is truly an animal whisper. She took such good care of my Daisy for a week. She was great at sending me daily updates with pictures and gave her extra snuggles. I would definitely recommend Robin and I will be using her again. She was very accommodating with our drop off times and pick up.”

“Katie and Zach did a great job watching Sebastian for a long weekend. Katie sent a photo or two of Sebastian each day and it looked like he had a great time with her family and dog, Honey. Also I had late drop off and late pick up in which they were really flexible with.”

“My two dogs have stayed with Shelly and Mike twice now and they absolutely love it at their home. Shelly is so good with the dogs and makes them feel very comfortable in a new home. She takes them on multiple walks a day and gives them lots of snuggles throughout the day. I love getting pictures of the dogs every day as it shows me how good Shelly is with the dogs and that my pups are having fun there! I can’t say enough good things about Shelly and Mike! Thank you so much for taking such good care of them! ~Robin Brown”

“Bob did a great job taking care of our miniature golden doodle. He walked him daily, gave him lots of outside time, naps and managed his picky eating. Bob is attentive to details and took notes at meet & greet and at drop off. Thanks for the great care Bob!”

“I typically book with a daycare center but due to the amount of time we would be gone, we feared he would suffer from anxiety and loneliness. So we decided to book with a home daycare to ensure he received more personal care. They did an awesome job with Jake. Seemingly, he was treated like their own with lots of cuddle time. They provided daily updates and included cute photos. They were flexible with drop off and pick up times. I would definitely use them again.”

“Peg and Greg did an amazing job caring for my dog, Cody! He got lots of fresh air, exercise, and plenty of attention. We would be happy to leave him in their care again!”

“Angela was so easy to work with and kept me informed of the fun the pups were having. And the best part (besides how go with the flow she was) our dogs ate dog tired, which is very rare! 10/10 will book again!”

“Joie was very helpful and thoughtful throughout the process! The meet and greet beforehand helped ensure our dog was comfortable when we returned for boarding, and we appreciated the progress pictures along the way. Would happily recommend!”
“Liss has watched our dog (3) times. It’s been a wonderful experience each time. Our dog has separation anxiety, and she gives him the attention he needs. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Hans had a fantastic stay with Julie and Ben and was extremely well taken care of for almost a full week. Communication was excellent. Pick up and drop off was a breeze. Could not recommend them enough to care for your pet!”

“Brenna was super confident about taking care of my slow to warm up dog and I felt very reassured that he would be in good hands. She was patient with him and helped him eat which he can be hesitant to do, and send lots of pictures of him lounging at her house. He was very relaxed when I picked him up! Would definitely book again and I recommend Brenna for anxious dogs.”

“Our dogs were so happy and loved! They felt comfortable enough to show their personalities, and loved their new friends. Even our grumpy old man came around.”

“Barb has watched both of our dogs on multiple occasions. She was communicative, prompt, and flexible each time we used her for dog sitting. We knew our dogs were in good hands, even our old pup who requires daily medicine. Would highly recommend Barb as a dog sitter.”

About: I’m a dedicated dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I grew up with both dogs and horses, and our animals were always treated as part of the family. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet while you’re away. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a slower, gentler pace. Every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. At home, I have two Australian Cattle Dogs, Sydney (4) and Roo (2), both rescues. They’re active, social, and always happy to welcome new companions. Before them, I raised my dog Cooper from 7 weeks old through 14 wonderful years. I also regularly provide in-home dog sitting for friends and family, with stays ranging from a few days to several weeks. I work from home which provides me plenty of time to keep an eye on your pup and let them out for potty breaks. I also try to work in some play time during the day where I can. My dogs insist the ball is thrown for them a lot! I feed my my own dogs around 6:30/7am and 3:30/4pm daily. I have a nice big yard with a privacy fence and 2 well socialized, friendly and playful dogs. I have good size kitchen and living room areas that can be gated off the pups need some quiet time to themselves.

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
94% of sitters in Webster can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Webster home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Webster.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Webster sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
