About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve fostered and rescued dogs, cats, litters of puppies, and litters of kittens, giving me hands-on experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Through fostering, I’ve worked with a wide range of temperaments, including shy and fearful animals, high-energy pets, senior pets, and those needing extra patience and reassurance. I’m comfortable reading animal body language, following care instructions, administering basic medications when needed, and helping pets feel safe and comfortable while their families are away. About: We’re an empty nest couple with no children or other pets in the home. We recently lost our beloved dog and while we’re enjoying the freedom of not having a pet, we still love caring for furry friends! Our home has a fully fenced yard and we’re ready to provide a safe, loving environment for your dog while you’re away! All pets need love and extra attention when their family is gone and I will give extra scratches and accommodations to make them feel right at home. I’m a part time preschool teacher with a flexible schedule. If your pet loves car rides, say no more they are more than welcome to come. Your furry friend will have a companion all day. If your pet requires medication, no problem I have experience with giving pills and shots. If your dog requires a bed to sleep nearby or in the bed that’s not a problem. We have a toddler bed for your pup to sleep on or a king size bed to share. My home has a fenced in yard and three friendly Golden Retrievers. I have four children in the home from ages 5-11. About: As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the important role pets play as beloved members of the family. As a school teacher, I enjoy a very flexible schedule during the summer months and would love the opportunity to support families who need a safe, loving temporary home for their four-legged companions. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs. As a teacher, I am currently on summer break, so I have availability daily throughout the week for play sessions and dog walks. I am also available for multi-night lodging. When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.
