About: My goal is to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I understand that every animal deserves patience, love, or just some comforting company. I am more than happy to take care of your furry friend(s) all day on weekends or walk them M-F after 5pm. Please message me for more detailed availability if needed. I have been trained with the SPCA in California to handle large and small dogs. Caring for pets brings me joy, and I treat each one as if they were my own—because they deserve nothing less.
“Stephanie does a fantastic job! I wasn't worried at all. She took care of our 4 cats while we were away on our cruise. She takes pictures of your babies, and plays with them. She'll care for them as well as you do (maybe even better) I highly recommend her.”

“Autumn was absolutely wonderful with my dogs and they lived her! She even sent pictures updates while she was there. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and I'm excited about using here in the future!”

About: I am a retired veterinary technician with 25+ years, I still work part-time at a local vet as a CSR. I will treat your babies like I would want my own animals to be treated. I am able to medicate, monitor, and follow directions very well. I am reliable, trustworthy, and will provide peace of mind while you are away. I currently work 2 days a week, so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. Drop in feedings with play and potty time or overnights if they need more companionship. I will work with whatever schedule you feel is right for your pets and home. I actually get to know your pet, not just drop by, feed, let them out, and leave.
“Carissa did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away from home. She communicated well and my cat was very comfortable and playful with her which means a lot because she is usually pretty shy.”

About: I've taken care of animals ever since I was around 13 years old. I've watched my relatives animals for more than a week on multiple occasions growing up. I'm attentive in feeding schedules, medications (if applicable), bathing, and litter cleaning. I also am very strong in giving loves and cuddles to your fur babies! Im currently in school part-time for a radiology career so that gives me so much time with your animals ! I'm available pretty much all the time, just contact me and we can figure something out. When caring for your pets in your home I try to make it the smoothest transition I can. I want to be able to keep their routine the same as much as possible. I follow feeding schedules, regularly provide fresh water and potty breaks. I will take dogs on walks if needed and make sure your pets receive the right amount of attention and play!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 15 years now, when I was a kid the pets were my responsibility, including loving, feeding, walking, washing, etc. Pets have always been a part of my life and always will be! Once they’re done I will play with them enough to tire them out so they have a nice long nap before I return to visit them again :)
About: I’ve cared for pets for friends, family, and colleagues, including feeding, walking, administering basic medications, and maintaining consistent routines. My background in ecology and animal biology means I’m especially attentive to behavior, stress signals, and overall health. I’m comfortable with all breeds of dogs, cats, horses, and other farm animals. I am a teacher who is currently available for the summer. This means I will have wide open availability to do in home pet sitting or frequent walking/taking out. I currently reside in an apartment in a safe neighborhood. Dogs love to go for walks around the neighborhood or nearby parks. There is no availability for them to ever be alone outside.

I currently have three cats and a dog, but I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, sugar gliders, frogs, fish, and crabs to name a few. I'm currently working freelance, so I have all sorts of time to help with your pets, at this time I have completely open availability, just message to book Animal safety is my number one priority, so nothing that is supposed to stay put will get in, and nothing that's supposed to stay in will go out. About: Benji was given to me as a 17th birthday present and I was so happy to have him because I've always wanted a dog since I was 8 years old. When we got him, his previous owner was starving and kicking him; he weighed only 6 pounds and he was full of anxiety due to the abuse. After a few months with me and my family, he gained a pound and a half and was full of life! I've taken care of him for about 8 years now and he's never had any health issues in his 13 years of life! He's old but still moves and acts like a young pup! I am currently working part-time as a behavior technician, working with children on the autism spectrum and those with other behavior/developmental delays. I am available roughly 4 days out of the week during the day and I am available for 5 nights a week. My home is fenced in with about an acre and a half of land in the backyard. I will take of care of uour baby, just how I take care of mine! Benji is bathed and brushed weekly, food and water is available whenever he is hungry, he is given one bacon treat every night and playtime is roughly 30-60mins a day depending on the age, stamina, and energetic needs of the dog.
“We LOVED Kaytlin! It is apparent she has lots of experience. She communicates so well! She sent pictures every day & even watered my plants & checked our mail. Definitely recommend & will certainly ask her to watch our cat again in the future!!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Waynesboro. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
