About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

I have years of experience looking after dogs and cats for friends, family, and through pet-sitting platforms. I’ve raised and cared for pets of all ages from playful puppies to senior dogs and I’ve personally had a German Shepherd and a pit mix, along with cats, chickens, and even hamsters growing up. Every pet I’ve ever had the pleasure of loving has been in my life from the time they came home until they passed. I am in phlebotomy and patient care in my career but I plan to be a part of a rescue or sanctuary when I retire. I will continue to volunteer at the shelter as often as possible until then. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with and care for your pets! I am available for house sitting on weekends and some days I would be available to do daycare at my home.
