About: Hi! I’ve been pet sitting and had my own dog for many years. Now, I have experience from drop-in visits to extended overnight stays, with many different types of needs. I’m dedicated to caring for a pet the same way their owner would and look forward to spending time with animals. I work from home most days and can accommodate a flexible potty schedule and activity level. I enjoy taking breaks to spend with pets, to get outside or tuck in on the sofa! I have an enclosed garden and large, unfenced yard. We are well back from the main road so pets are welcome to explore the neighborhood.

About: I grew up with litters of German Shepherd puppies which sparked my lifelong love of animals. As adult, I raised and bred Labrador Retrievers. I now share my home with five cats, two Labs and six chickens. I'm also a proud grandparent to two wonderful grandchildren. Retired and living in Vermont. I'm recently retired and spending my time doing what I love most. Beling arond animals. I enjoy going on walks, playing and simply keeping pets company. If you ever need a little help with your furry friend whether it's a walk, some playtime, or just a visit while you're out. I can take them to the dog parks or to the waling paths.

About: I have always been around pets of all kinds; reptiles, house pets, farm animals, even a tarantula. I am caring and attentive and up for anything! I work from home and set my own work schedule. Pet care can fit right into my flexible schedule. I would love to have a companion on my walks, as I listen to my podcasts!! I like to do my research on a particular pet if I am going to care for it. This ensures I will properly handle and care for the pet, as they vary!

“Marielle is an EXCEPTIONAL dog sitter! She helped us out for 4 days in a row with our rambunctious, challenging, high-energy, relentlessly driven almost 6 mo Australian Shepherd. The weather was horribly uncooperative - freezing, raining, windy, muddy and ongoing for all but 1 day. Marielle showed up on time very early in the morning with an enthusiastic greeting to my pup and no matter how many instructions I may have burdened her with, she took everything in with a smile. She is highly knowledgeable about dogs of all ages, patient, kind and energetic. She took my dog out for hours in all conditions without complaint! Our cabin was tiny, and she came for 4 -5 hour drop in visits. She is very comfortable to be around and my dog loved her! What more could you ask for?? Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with yellow labs and helped raise multiple litters of puppies with my family. I’ve taken care of friend’s pets, but nothing formal. I’ve had my current dog for 3 years and want to expand my love of dogs to yours as well! I love to be active and will take your dog on a run/hike or just cuddle up with them on the couch. I work in a school - currently on summer break so very flexible. Come mid August I will only be available outside of school hours. Every pet and home is different. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine similar to normal and will follow your lead on what you want things to look like day to day. I always walk dogs with a leash.

About: I have experience caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities! I have been caring for a wide range of pets since I was young. I have an older dog with many quirks and particular needs so I understand how important it is to meet your dog's needs as an individual. Currently, I am a recent college grad looking to fill out my summer and make some extra cash. Outside of typical dog/cat experience, I also have experience with farm animals such as alpacas, llamas, sheep, goats, and more. I am also experienced with positive reinforcement training and bird handling. As a recent college grad, I am spending this summer working part-time, along with doing pet care when I can. Overall, my schedule is pretty flexible! Your pet's safety is ALWAYS a priority. To create a safe and trustworthy environment for your animals I will listen to you closely about your pet's past and behavior. As someone with zoo/farm experience, I understand the importance of always being aware and attentive to both your pet's behavior and my own. Bonding and building a relationship with your pet so they feel secure and comfortable with me is another top priority!

One of our cats is very shy, and she did a great job of respecting her space while keeping an eye on her and giving her a chance to socialize at her own pace. Our other cat is very social and took an immediate shine to Rebecca at the meet and greet, and while she was happy to see us we could tell she hadn't missed us too much due to Rebecca's attention. Rebecca sends along thorough updates that include how they're doing with their physical and emotional needs, and you can tell in the photos the cats feel comfortable in her presence. Overall we were very pleased with her services and will definitely book again in the future!”

About: My parents bred our labs a couple of times when I was a kid, so puppies and dogs have always been in my life. In college I bought my own puppy and had her for a wonderful almost 10 years. She was my best friend and I talked to her and kissed her all of the time. She made me feel happy when my days were gray. Since then I’ve dog sat for multiple families and borrow my friends’ dogs to go for walks and adventures since I no longer have a pup of my own. I work three 12 hour shifts a week so I would love to spend my free days with dogs. I’ve watched my friends dogs even on work days because I work 7a-7 p so I can be there for breakfast and dinner. Most of the time I’ve stayed in their homes so that the dog feels most comfortable. I have no other pets in my home and your pup will get all the belly rubs and scratching they need. I love to go for walks and be active with the dogs (of course only if they’re capable)
