I am currently available anytime. I have my own dog so I am not afraid to get my hands dirty so to speak. Day or night! I care for every animal with patience and joy. “Kathryn was awesome with our cattle dogs. Millie has anxiety and can get stressed easily. Kathryn worked with our dogs well, gave Millie her medication and played ball with our dogs daily while we where away 5 days. She checked on our cats and showed up on time everyday, gave us good updates and made sure our house was secured when she left everytime. Kathryn will be our go to person for our next vacation.”

“If you want the BEST, Hire the BEST !! Erin came to visit Bently 2 times before we booked. Bently is a 95lb, 4 year old Pure Pit Bull from AKC registered parents. He Not the most social dog and hates cats. Erin came into Bently's life and showed him she wasn't afraid and was in charge. She showed Bently she was a friend, ready with Treats, Food, Water, and Lots of Loving. Bently "took" to her imminently and behaves better for Erin than he does for me. During her 6 visits over 2 1/2 days she kept me updated with texts and pictures (wish I could get him to pose like that). I Knew He Was Safe ! Erin made a friend in Bently as he still looks to see if she is entering the house when it's only my brother and I. Bently was Well cared for, was played with and given his Favorite treat a "peanut butter bone." Erin couldn't have done a Better Job. I will definitely use Erin to puppy sit Bently next time he needs a friend to care for him !!!!!! :)”

“Kendra was wonderful and able to step in last minute for me and my girl. She stayed in touch, and my fennie loved her, and I knew that to be true because she doesn’t get comfortable on anyone else but me. Always appreciative for Kendra’s help and will definitely rebook her”

About: This is my first time trying to get into professional pet care, however, I have spent my entire life living with and taking care of pets. There hasn’t been a single moment where I have lived without cats or a dog in my home. I absolutely love getting to spend time with these animals as I find their companionship to be so rewarding. I find many animals seem to enjoy my own company, whether it’s due to my calm nature or inability to refuse petting them if they ask for it! I have no special skills to report, but I will say that I am happy to learn all there is about your furry best friend(s) to make sure you, and more importantly, they, are comfortable and happy. I’m currently available any day of the week to take care of your pets! No time is a bad time for me, unless it is very late in the day. I will care for your pets in your home by following any instructions you have given me for their safety and care and always keep an eye and ear on them. If I am taking your dog on a walk, I will make sure we stay clear of any visible signs of safety hazards and confrontation with other dogs/people.

About: Hello! I am Cami, a fishieries technician in the Portland area. I have 3 dogs back home in Alaska (Pongo, Sugar, and Peanut), but currently live in Portland for work. I grew up always having at least 3 dogs in the house and my mom and I have fostered about 45 dogs since I was 14 years old. I am used to the care and attention that goes into watching a dog and making them happy. I love all animals so much and I miss being around my dogs all the time, which is why I joined Rover! I hope to work with animals my entire life and am pursuing a career in either veterinary medicine, wildlife biology, or zoology. If you need help I would love to spend some time with your babies and keep an eye on them whenever! I take my dogs for walks, runs, hikes and to the park all the time when I am back home and it is so fun to me. I just started a full time job so sadly I am not the most available at the moment. Feel free to reach out anyway to see if your needs happen to line up with my free time or if your pups/kitties can be alone for 8 hours! I have taken care of countless dogs throughout my life and am very sure to never be irresponsible when it comes to the safety and care of your pets.

About: I have owned and cared for all types of pets and animals all of my life ranging from dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, horses and ducks. I was taught at an early age how to care for my own pets, that they were my responsibility. Pets in my care will be treated like my own, who is very spoiled. I consider pets part of the family and I keep mine for life. In my care, any instructions given for your fur baby will be strictly adhered to. I have owned puppies and dogs of all sizes. The largest being Roudy, my 225 pound English Mastiff. I have also owned horses, ducks, cats, water turles, hamserts, guinea pigs and a ferret. I have also raised Golden Retrievers. My very first job in high school was working for a local veterinarian assisting in every aspect of the business from vaccinations to assisting in surgeries (my favorite) to helping with farm animals and giving medications. I currently have a very active young Border Collie named Bailey who loves playmates. My large fenced yard, along with walks and daily fetch, allows for plenty of exercise. Your baby would receive the same attention that is afforded to Bailey. They will become a part of my family while they are here. If so desired I can send daily updates and pictures to offset any anxiety that you may have leaving your baby in new hands. I am retired so I have nothing scheduled outside of the home on a regular basis except for volunteering a few hours a week at at local non-proftit Veterans Organization that provides resources and programs for suicide prevention and stress management to veterans and first responders . This is a farm conisting of many programs. I am working with horses, cows, turkeys, chicken, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbitts, dogs, cats, and mostly therapy horses. I am home full time to care for all of your fur baby's requirements and needs. I have a large fenced yard and friendly dog to keep your fur baby company and exercised. I also have a large crate and outdoor kennel and dog house if your pup requires either of these for any reason. I do allow animals on my furniture but will keep them off of it if that is your wish.

Have helped raise multiple litters of puppies ranging from little breeds to big breeds! There’s no pup I won’t pet! I have a pretty open schedule, any day of the week works for me, I am in college but I do it online! I am open to working any day of the week at any time! I have a big back yard that is all fenced! About: I’ve worked with cats and dogs from all walks of life. I have a wide range of experience from working for an amazing rescue called Canine Connections and personal experience. Canine Connections rescue is a program within the Washington state juvenile institution that teaches the juvenile residents how to care for and work with cats and dogs. I was an employee and ran this program within the juvenile institution. We would take in puppies/dogs from local humane societies to train them generalized life skills, walking skills, and take complete care of multiple dogs at one time. We worked with dogs of all different sizes, ages, and breeds so during the training it was important to determine target behavior that the individual dogs would need to succeed in their future furever home. The puppies/dogs would be posted for adoption once they’ve gone through the program and training. I have experience with all types of handling equipment (front/back harnesses, gentle leader, prong, etc.), walking skills/basic obedience training, and the everyday care of dogs who are timid with people and/or other animals to very excited and distracted dogs. We trained dogs with positive reinforcement, which includes a lot of patience and treats, and taking the time to learn what the dogs strengths and weaknesses are to be successful. We also had a program that socialized and cared for cats and kittens while they waited to be adopted. I realized that I have a passion for working with animals, and I would love to continue in this field since I recently moved to this area for my new chapter in life. My friends and family have come to me over the years to assist with problem behaviors and care for their pets. I have 3 dogs of my own that are apart of my family, they are 2 pugs and a Newfoundland so I have years of personal experience working with small and large dogs. I hope you choose me to assist with the care of your furry loved one, and become someone you can trust to enhance your animals life and give the care that our animals deserve. I am available every day of the week and have a flexible schedule to make what works best for you and your pet. I have a lot of experience working with my own dogs and in a kennel that requires 24/7 care. I can provide care by providing activities of physical and mental exercises inside and outside the home to basic care of feeding and letting out to go to the bathroom. I am experienced with walking and training dogs, and I also love to just hang out with an animal for their entertainment (if you find yourself talking to your pet like a human then I’m the perfect person for you - I’m pretty sure my pups can understand everything I say to them & they talk back in their own way). I have dealt with animals who eat anything that’s up for grabs to a very specific diet. I understand the importance of routine for our animals and will respect what you need for your pet. For special care - If you need to make a very detailed list I would love for you to share with me and know it will be followed. I am comfortable and familiar with oral medications from puppies/dogs at the rescue I worked at and dogs of my own. My pugs are higher maintenance so I am familiar with medications administered by mouth, ears, and eyes. I also love to brush and maintain animals fur/coats, it is really a good way to bond if your animal is comfortable with it. I am currently going through a grooming course, and I have experience of my own from my personal dogs and working with puppies/dogs at the rescue. This includes working with animals that do not like or are new to grooming. I am mainly experienced with simple brushing and bathing, so I will stick to that level for now and I hope to be a groomer in the future once I’ve gone through my course and gained experience. You don’t have to worry about coming home to a fresh bob cut on your pet, luckily I have dogs of my own to practice on for now! If you would like me to brush out your dog and bathe them then let me know!

About: Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life—caring for them isn’t just second nature, it’s something I truly love. I grew up with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I’ve spent years helping out neighbors by watching their pets while they were away. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just being a calm and comforting presence, I bring attentiveness and compassion to every pet I care for. Recently, I lost my soul dog, and while I’m not quite ready to adopt again, spending time with other people’s pets fills my heart in a way that’s hard to describe. I understand how much pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and respect I gave my own. What sets me apart is my deep emotional connection to animals, my reliability, and my ability to pick up on each pet’s unique needs. I don’t just watch your pet—I make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. I am currently going to school full time at WSU completely online. Other than that, I am not working right now so this gives me the opportunity to have a lot of free time! I can complete my school work from anywhere with my laptop. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and creating a safe, loving space for them is something I take seriously. I live on 10 acres of private property, giving your dog plenty of room to explore in a peaceful, secure environment. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I care for each dog as if they were my own—offering calm companionship, routine, and individualized attention. I can easily accommodate crate-trained pups or provide a cozy space for rest, and I always follow your preferences to ensure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away.

About: I watch dogs, cats, and exotics! If you have exotics needing boarding please contact me and we can discuss! I have taken care of animals of all kinds my whole life, including exotics! I grew up raising and educating others on hedgehogs, sugar gliders, rabbits, and more. I still currently have and raise rabbits and hedgehogs. My fiancé and I currently have 9 dogs of our own. There are three fixed male French Bulldogs that are indoors and six malamutes that stay outdoors. None of the boarded fur babies will have close interactions with ours. I grew up around giant dogs so animals of all sizes are amazing to me! I have experience in everything except grooming (I do baths and nails though!). I always have extra dog things from toys, bowls, kennels, food, (etc) to basic first aid supplies to accommodate everyone! I know just how stressful it can be to have a trip planned or run across an emergency and need a quick placement for your fur baby! Every animal is different and whether that means you have a reactive or super shy baby don’t that stop you from sending me a message! Everyone deserves time away for a bit and knowing their babies are well loved for while you’re away 🐾❤️ I have a huge love for animals and I’m always looking forward to helping the communities surrounding me! I just need food supplied as I believe in keeping diet constant. Everything else can totally be on me! Dogs are welcome to any part of the house and all the animal things we have around! I even have kennels of all sizes if needed. I’m willing to give any type of medication as well. I will also watch anxious/high anxiety pets (I understand the struggle!). Always flexible! The backyard is fully fenced but we keep all our boarded babies on secure leashes just to be safe when we’re outside. I can provide walks/hikes as needed. Everything is and always stays secured.

Charlotte T.
“Charlotte is excellent with animals. Not only are her dogs loved, but she also loves every animal she comes into contact with. She has cared for our dog and cat on several occasions, sometimes for an afternoon, weekend, or even a week when we couldn't take our dog with us. The cat just needs to be fed and let out in the morning and back in at dark - so he is easy. My dog is much needier - she will spend hours with him - he doesn't play much (he's a senior now), but he loves to be petted and she will pet him until he gets tired. Charlotte would be a great asset to Rover!”
