“Martina has been extremely reliable and patient. She’s always communicative during the walks and keeps me updated, which I really appreciate. Being in the Army with unpredictable hours is tough, but she truly puts my mind at ease knowing my baby is getting the care and attention he needs when I can’t be there. I’m so thankful for her!”

About: I’ve taken care of many different types of animals all my life and been care taker with medicine, giving birth, wounds, etc and wouldn’t trade it for the world of the knowledge I’ve gained and the love for them! I work active duty in the airforce I work basically a 0730-1600 with an hour lunch but I live in the dorms so I just have a pet fish but I would love to be able to give some love to someone’s pets! I’ve worked around and with animals almost all my life and everything that comes with them and I am going to be studying pre vet for asu in the early spring of next year!! I fully believe you know what’s best for your animal since you know them and I am here to love them and care for them as you would!

“Jacquelyn was absolutely great with my 90lb German Shepherd. She kept me updated the entire time and made sure he was back safely in our home. Highly recommend for daily dog walks.”
About: I’ve had my own 3 dogs for the last 6 years. Before that, I would take care of my friends animals. I often dog sit and cat sit for close friends and family. Figured I would do it on here, too! I have trained all of my dogs, nothing crazy. Just the basics. One of my dogs does have health issues and another has really bad allergies so I definitely know what it’s like to have a certain routine per animal. All my animals needs are different and I’m here to provide that to lessen your stress ☺️ All day, all night!!! I am also able to travel. I drive a lot so I don’t mind if I have to travel a bit. I would love for the pet owners to give me a run down no matter what! Even if your animal is low maintenance. My dogs are high maintenance so I’m also used to that. I just like specific instructions, I feel it makes it easier for everyone involved! Especially if I’m pet sitting in your home. That’s your safe space.
About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs my whole life! I have experience with young, senior, active, and working dogs. My family dog growing up was born deaf and with a thyroid condition so I am very familiar with medication admission or other disabilities. My husband and I often work different shifts so someone is often home with the dog(s). I have no problem moving work around to care for your furbaby! I have a fenced in yard and large home. There is only one dog and plenty of room for the dogs to stretch their legs or spread out. I am active and will run or walk your pet!
About: As a dedicated animal lover with a family legacy of operating three successful boarding and grooming kennels in Maryland, I am passionate about providing exceptional animal care. With a decade of experience working at Countryside Kennels in Owings, MD, and Countrysides Pet Resort in Hughesville, MD, I developed a robust foundation in animal care. I then pursued a veterinary career, working for three years at Animal Eye Care. After relocating, I worked at Branches vet in Tifton, GA, and Southside Vet in Moultrie, GA. In 2021, I moved to Sumter, SC, and worked at Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in Lugoff, SC for three years. In addition to my veterinary experience, I operate a side business, At Your Service, offering house cleaning and pet sitting services since 2007. With my expertise in grooming and possession of necessary equipment, I am confident in providing exceptional care for your pets. My eleven-year-old child also shares my passion for animal care! Please consider my services for your pet care needs. Working remotely has given me the opportunity to prioritize Rover as my main source of income, allowing me to be more readily available to assist with pet care needs. I am committed to ensuring your pet's comfort and will take all necessary steps to achieve this goal. I am confident in my ability to assess your pet's behavior and provide a comfortable experience, allowing you to be at ease.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for years and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. As a biology student who hopes to become a veterinarian, I’m passionate about giving every pet the love, patience, and attention they deserve. I’m currently available most days and have a flexible schedule, so I can make time for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and feeding. I’ll always communicate with you and make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, keep them in a safe environment, and make sure they feel loved while you’re away. I’ll also send updates and pictures so you can have peace of mind.
About: I provide dependable, attentive care and treat every dog as if they were my own. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and comfort needs so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I am patient, observant, and comfortable caring for dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. I can support basic reinforcement of training, maintain feeding and medication schedules, and provide structured walks and playtime to keep dogs mentally and physically engaged. I work from home and have alot of flexibility with my schedule. So your babies will get to hang out with me during the day, while I work. Gaurenteed to get good rubs and hugs as I employee them as my little stress relievers during my work day lol. Dogs staying in my home are treated like part of the family. I provide a safe, comfortable environment where they can relax and follow a routine similar to what they are used to at home. Inside the house, dogs are free to move around and choose where they feel most comfortable resting or playing. I do not keep dogs confined unless an owner specifically requests crate use. My goal is to make their stay feel as natural and stress-free as possible. I also have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely spend time outside. They are able to go in and out, play, explore, and burn off energy while remaining in a secure space. I supervise outdoor time and make sure every dog is comfortable with the environment. Throughout the day, I provide regular potty breaks, playtime, walks if requested, feeding according to the owner’s schedule, and plenty of attention. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.

Weekends would preferably work better but I can work with you ! I currently do not accept at home sitting due to me not owning my own house. However when I get my own place I will ! About: Background/experience in veterinary medicine. I am very comfortable with giving medication, taking care of special needs/senior pets. I treat every pet as if they are my own. I currently own my own equine business which means I set my own hours. I am a very active person so including other animal duties into my daily life is not difficult. I treat each pet as if they were my own. I would do everything I could to keep them comfortable in their own home while their owners are away. Even if that means sitting on the floor while they take a nap so they don't feel alone.

About: I’ve grown with dogs for as long as I can remember. I currently have a black and tan coonhound and a beagle. I would consider myself someone who has vast experience caring for dogs. I have a three day weekend every week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I would be home all of the time on. My dogs usually go out 3 to 4 times during the weekend during the week and times first thing in the morning 8 AM then 11am, 5pm, then 9pm, and one last quick pee break before bed I care for dogs, just as I would care for a different person. I am a family with that a dog is a product of its environment, therefore if it’s brought up in a unsafe environment, the dog has a tendency to be a bit problematic but if shown love and affection, they will be the best pups over

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
