About: I adore my basset hound and english bulldog. Plus I have had experience working at a dog groomer and a doggie daycare. I have never met a dog I did not enjoy. I have recently graduated from high school and am working part time. So I have plenty of time to play with your dogs. I can be flexible with time of day to walk your dog. I care for my 2 dogs as if they are family and I will do the same for your fur babies. I give lots of snuggles, walking, and playtime.
About: I have been pet sitting for about 15 years, everything from quick play dates to extended stays lasting over a month. I've worked with a variety of dogs including a 13-year old 4 pound chihuahua, a vizla that required 5 or more hours of solid exercise a day, a 160 pound mastiff that thought he was a lap dog, and a very scared dalmatian/husky/german shepherd mix that needed some serious work on social interations. I've dealt with skunk attacks, bee stings, an intestinal blockage and various types of aggression. I AM NOT CURRENTLY ABLE TO STAY OVERNIGHT DURING SITTINGS. I KEPT IT IN MY PROFILE BECAUSE IT IS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN BOOKING MULTIPLE DROP-INS At the end of last year I ended up taking in 3 Doberman puppies that I had dog sat for regularly. I was able to find a home of one of them but the other two are still with me. Because of this I am not able to do extended stays that require me to be gone overnight or dogs that cannot be left alone for a few hours due to separation anxiety or medical reasons. But if your dog is friendly please consider boarding! I currently work from home with flexible hours most of the time. My schedule is very accommodating and I love being able to take advantage of nice weather or last minute requests. The yard where I am is NOT fenced in, but it is very large with several acres of wooded area in the back. For dogs that need to stay on leash there is a long tie out and plenty of walks. I never let the dogs play outside without supervision. There are two other friendly dogs on the property (in addition to my own 2) and two dogs next-door that come over to play all the time. So we have our own mini, well-mannered, well-socialized dog park.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve been actively caring for pets since I was young. I worked for 5 years at the PetSmart PetsHotel while attending college, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs. I’m currently in between jobs and can be available for walks during the typical work week (Monday through Friday, from 9 to 5). During visits, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or potty breaks, exercise and playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of affection and companionship. About: I have been working with dogs since I was in 6th grade. I trained my childhood dog through a 4H program and we completed at the county fair each year in Obedience and Rally. Now I have a rescue who over the past 4 years we've helped work through a lot of reactivity and she now is an active participant in Rally competitions and other classes. I love spending time with animals. I am available in the evening during the week and weekends.
