About: I grew up with a dog until I was 18 (Westie - Minnie) and then after college was adopted by a wonderful rescue sphynx (PyeWacket). Over then next 20 or so years I have had 4 sphyx cats (PyeWacket, Forty Two, Tesla and Cairo) and 1 Lyikoi (Cypher). Over the last year my house has had 4 puppies (from 8 weeks), 2 turtles, 2 Guinea pigs, 2 full size dogs 6 cats and multiple fish. I also often house sit for a very smart chihuahua named Mazie. Currently in between jobs so my schedule is fairly open. Like early and late walks due to the heat but open for anything. Open to late night feedings if needed. I treat your animals like they were my own. Love to play, hang out and what ever your little one needs. Need to make sure they know they are loved.
About: I have been working with dogs since I was in 6th grade. I trained my childhood dog through a 4H program and we completed at the county fair each year in Obedience and Rally. Now I have a rescue who over the past 4 years we've helped work through a lot of reactivity and she now is an active participant in Rally competitions and other classes. As a teacher my summer is wide open for walks and drop in visits. Once the school year starts after school and weekends are open. I'm very comfortable with dogs of various sizes and needs. I can crate your furry family members, get them fed, out for walks etc. I'm comfortable with various walking equipment from harnesses to gentle leaders and collars.
About: I adore my basset hound and english bulldog. Plus I have had experience working at a dog groomer and a doggie daycare. I have never met a dog I did not enjoy. I have recently graduated from high school and am working part time. So I have plenty of time to play with your dogs. I can be flexible with time of day to walk your dog. About: I love dogs and had one for 17 years! Our good boy recently crossed the rainbow bridge and we miss him so much. I have experience with young dogs, but also with senior dogs I am currently available during the day every weekday, so whether it’s an early morning or late afternoon walk, I can be there no problem! About: I have been pet sitting for about 15 years, everything from quick play dates to extended stays lasting over a month. I've worked with a variety of dogs including a 13-year old 4 pound chihuahua, a vizla that required 5 or more hours of solid exercise a day, a 160 pound mastiff that thought he was a lap dog, and a very scared dalmatian/husky/german shepherd mix that needed some serious work on social interations. I've dealt with skunk attacks, bee stings, an intestinal blockage and various types of aggression. I AM NOT CURRENTLY ABLE TO STAY OVERNIGHT DURING SITTINGS. I KEPT IT IN MY PROFILE BECAUSE IT IS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN BOOKING MULTIPLE DROP-INS At the end of last year I ended up taking in 3 Doberman puppies that I had dog sat for regularly. I was able to find a home of one of them but the other two are still with me. Because of this I am not able to do extended stays that require me to be gone overnight or dogs that cannot be left alone for a few hours due to separation anxiety or medical reasons. But if your dog is friendly please consider boarding! I currently work from home with flexible hours most of the time. My schedule is very accommodating and I love being able to take advantage of nice weather or last minute requests. The yard where I am is NOT fenced in, but it is very large with several acres of wooded area in the back. For dogs that need to stay on leash there is a long tie out and plenty of walks. I never let the dogs play outside without supervision. There are two other friendly dogs on the property (in addition to my own 2) and two dogs next-door that come over to play all the time. So we have our own mini, well-mannered, well-socialized dog park.
About: My parents have been breeding basset hounds since I was 6 years old. Ever since I can remember I have always helped my parents take care of our bassets. I would also help with the deliveries, which means I also have experience with taking care of puppies! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and I am happy to let them either roam free downstairs or be put in a kennel when I am not home. I have a gate that keeps my dog from going upstairs when I’m not home, so that can be closed at any time during the day too.
