“Carol is awesome! My little sixteen month old puppy Jazz spent an entire day with Carol and her husband. Jazz came home relaxed and seemed to have confidence she didn’t have before. She has maintained that confidence that she gained with Carol’s help. I’m forever grateful and will definitely book Carol again.”

About: Ever since I was in kindergarten I wanted to take care of animals, I'm currently in college for vet tech. I have always been fascinated by helping out animals❤️ I have worked in vet offices as a kennel tech, and a Vet assistant. I have worked in the pet care field for 5 years, starting right as I got out of high School. I cared for my parents animals, my neighbors animals, and my rabbit, who will be turning 11 next month. I've trained animals from potty training up to obedience(dependant on the owner and how obedient they want their fur baby) I've worked with animals who have been abused, and have gotten them out of their shell. My dog, is 7 almost 8, so a senior, she was severely abused, had 5 owners before us, were her sixth, she was "aggressive" we got to work with her to open up to other dogs, And she's been amazing. I've worked with cats, dogs, birds, rabbits and even goats. I am a part time barista, full time pet parent, of a cat, rabbit and dog. My animals come first so they can be well taken care of❤️ I am also disabled so please keep this in mind 🩵 My husband Austin(who is in the process of being added) is a stay at home pet parent, he travels with me, helping me care for pets. He also travels with me to make sure I am okay during visits, because of my disability. He is very good with animals, and can promise you, your babies are in good hands with him and I 🖤 I live in an apartment that is pet friendly, across the street is a giant park where your fur babies and I can walk around and visit the dog park to exert their energy. I have a spare space for animals that keep to themselves, I offer scratch posts for cats, and a little hut for them to hide. I have plenty of treats, and toys for every fur baby that comes in. For your home, I know it can be scary for animals to see a new person, so usually they'll freak out, I'll typically get to a fur babies level and let them come to me, I never want them to feel threatened by my visitation. If they need time, that is all okay, they can take all the time needed. I will always have some treats with me to greet them(as long as the owner is okay with treats)

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Janene! We were in town for a softball tournament and needed someone trustworthy to look after our little baby boy on short notice — and Janene was absolutely amazing. She treated him like her own, kept us updated, and gave us total peace of mind so we could focus on the games. We came back to one very happy, well-loved baby boy! If you’re looking for a sitter who genuinely cares, look no further. We’ll absolutely be reaching out to Janene again next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

About: 🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾 𝙻𝚊𝚣𝚢 𝙿 𝚁𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚑 We know the stress of looking for a daycare or sitter. I only take clients when I will be home the entire time. This includes frequent potty breaks and around-the-clock love and care. 𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚁𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚑 𝙾𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚛𝚜 The 5 acre, fully-enclosed property offers plenty of (supervised) freedom. Our home is set back into the property, away from any roadway. Part of the property is wooded. If you’d like your pup(s) to go on a guided walk with me, please let me know, and I’ll ensure they get all the sniffs safely and come home with clean paws. In the back yard is the garden, a fire pit, and plenty of roaming area. In the front yard, we have chickens, ducks, and guinea fowl, as well as two barn cats. Your dogs are 𝘯𝘰𝘵 required to be compatible with any of them. 𝙾𝚞𝚛 𝙶𝚒𝚛𝚕𝚜 We have an 8 y.o. f. GSD and 6 y.o. f. Lab/GSP/Aussie/Staffy who both get along with pretty much everyone. We specifically 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 accept chihuahuas. 𝙷𝚞𝚖𝚊𝚗 𝚂𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚍𝚞𝚕𝚎 I am only available on days I work from home or weekends I am home to ensure I can devote my attention to dog care. I will keep my availability updated. 𝙳𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚜 I have two wire kennels available if needed. I also have a heavy duty, extra tall dog gate that can be mounted in a hallways or door thresholds. Water is always accessible (unless directed otherwise). Please provide your own bowls and food. I have extra bowls.

About: I've taken care of animals of all types since I was a little girl. My dad had a successful AKC chihuahua breeding business and my sister and I have had pets all of our lives. I know the good, bad, bad and ugly when it comes to caring for pets. I’ve seen it all. Some of the pets I've cared for include: dogs, cats, parakeets, chickens, quail, button quail, fish, hamsters, bugs, bearded dragons, and Chinese water dragons. ABOUT ME: I’m a creative writer and freelance book editor who is unable to work a typical 9–5 in-person job due to neurological disabilities. However, my disabilities do not impede my ability to pet-sit, bathe, walk, and care for your pets! MY AVAILABILITY: I have open availability on weekdays and weekends—except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I’m willing to make exceptions, though! If you’re in dire need of services on either of these days, please send me a message! HOLIDAY BOOKINGS: I usually travel and spend the holidays with family, but this year (2026), we did all of our traveling this summer, so I’ll be home for the holidays and I’d love to care for your fur babies so you can relax and spend quality time with your loved ones! MY PET DAY CARE ENVIRONMENT: My home is smoke-free, plant-free, and pet-free home. I also keep my home meticulously clean, hypoallergenic, and free of fragrance, harsh chemicals, and other pollutants. The only exception are the pets in my care each day. I thoroughly clean and disinfect after each pet stay, making it a clean and safe environment for your pet(s). My apartment is part of a pet-friendly complex with an open courtyard, two large public parks, walking/biking trails, and a dog park within walking distance. Trash cans (with doggie bags!) are sprinkled throughout the complex and pets in the courtyard are required to be leashed and accompanied by a responsible adult (18+). MY ONE PET PROMISE: I only care for one pet/pet family at a time, so your fur babies get all the care and attention they deserve! I offer Doggie Day Care at my apartment with 15-minute bathroom breaks every 2–4 hours and 2 30–60-minute walks included in the booking fee.

About: With 16 years of experience caring for dogs, I’ve loved getting to know pets of all breeds, ages, and personalities. From raising and caring for puppies to providing extra patience and attention to senior dogs, I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs. I’m comfortable with medication administration, keeping up with established routines, and giving dogs the exercise, playtime, and affection they need to feel right at home. Today, my boyfriend David and I are excited to welcome pets into our Oklahoma City home alongside our dog, Lady, and cat, Luna. Our pets are family, and we’ll treat yours the same way! Whether your pup wants to spend the day playing, going for walks, or simply curling up on the couch, our goal is to make their stay safe, comfortable, and full of love while keeping you updated along the way! My job is flexible, allowing me to work from home. My schedule offers ample time for pet care. Available for dog boarding on both weekdays and weekends, and flexible for dog walks throughout the day on weekends and some weekdays, which provides a refreshing break for both me and your furry companions. In my home, pets enjoy a secure environment with the exclusive attention they deserve, as I don't have other pets. This setup ensures they have ample space to run around and play, promoting their safety and well-being.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Warwick

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Warwick commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Yes, you can find sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. Many sitters can respond to messages in under an hour.

To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
