About: I am experienced in senior pup care and have assisted in training young puppies. I am extremely comfortable with administering medications and being conscious to special dietary needs. I was a vet assistant at Caring Hands Animal Hospital for 5 years before retiring due to injury. I treat all animals with kindness and respect. I believe all animals deserve compassion. Pet care is already a part time job for me. Because of my injury, I am frequently home and am available most days. Not to mention the kittens I take care of. I pay very close attention to each individual pets needs whether in my home or yours. Having 6 cats and a dog of my own, I understand the different schedules and habits of each pet. I aim to make each Animal (and their owner) as comfortable as possible with the process.

I’ve been wanting to dog sit since I was 14 and found this website. I don’t think you would find a more excited person to come take care of your dog or cat. I’m energetic and love playing with dogs. About: I have had pets for over 40 years. My menagerie has included cats, dogs, chickens & pigs! Love all my babies! They live with me from the time they enter my life until the passage of old age. My oldest cat died 1 week of 21 years. I adopted her at 3 months. I have given insulin to one of my cats that was diabetic until she passed d/t the illness. I am currently hospice caring my Pom Bre who is 16 1/2 yrs old. Start & end my days feeding my 4 inside cats, 3 catico cats & 2 dogs. I will be retiring from nursing in July after 41 years of Nursing. Will allow more time devoting to pet sitting & rescue. My babies have free run of the house. I place a pad down in the shower when at work for dogs to use if needed as dogs are 12 & 16 1/2. Dogs are walked every morning & evening, more often on wkends. They get occasional car rides as a treat. They are fed twice a day & Bre gets her thyroid medicine twice a day as well. We play inside with various toys. Cats are treated the same except outside walks. Monthly grooming for dogs & brushing for cats. I also kept Gizzy a dog who's parents had orders to Okinawa & he couldn't go due to age & being quarantined for 6 mths going & coming. He stayed with me for almost 3 yrs.

About: I love animals, especially ones that love to cuddle! I love training and spending time with them! I currently have a 9 year old senior husky and a 3 month old german sheppard puppy. I have been looking after animals since I was young. I grew up on a farm. Our senior is mellow, talkative, and playful. He loves other dogs and people. Our 3 month old puppy is in training. He is full of energy, playful, welcoming, and loves his naps. Our puppy is on a training and feeding schedule so I am happy to accommodate those needs. Our senior needs one on one walks, and cuddle time so I understand that every senior has their own limits and needs. I give both of my pups preventative medications and our senior takes daily oral medication, I am happy to do that for your pup as well. Since I already have 2 dogs you can see that pets naturally fit into my daily schedule. I take them for walks twice a day. My pups eat on a schedule three times a day. I play with them before work, on my lunch break, and after work during the week. We wind down at night with some cuddles and a rub down. On the weekends we enjoy going to the beach to swim or playing outside in the yard. My pups can never go on enough walks so they are always up for more walks. Your pups will get plenty of exercise and some down time as well to nap and chew on toys. I have two friendly dogs who will play with your pup(s) and keep them company. My pups are Crate trained for sleeping/naps if need be, they are also free range in the house. Whatever you choose I will accommodate! I do not have a fenced in yard but I always put my pups outside on a running cable to keep them safe. Our pups are always on a leash and colllar/harness for walks.

About: Did you know wolves travel anywhere from 10-30 miles a day?! I believe that a tired pup is a happy pup and I am always up for an adventure. My pet care experience includes a variety of species in a variety of environments. I am a native to Wilmington so I know the area well and can give your pup the adventure they crave if you so choose. My family has a history of working with k-9s so handling them is something that comes naturally. I am focused on gaining the respect and trust of every species I encounter. Affection, it comes in many forms and I am here to offer them all; toys, treats, belly rubs, you name it. I'm versatile, accommodating and I look forward to meeting your four legged family! I am a stay at home mom and spend my days taking care of little humans while also loving and meeting the needs of our loyal companions. If your home is fenced then we will spend time playing in the sunshine at their own pace. During the summer I will only walk your dog(s) in the morning or late afternoon. I don’t walk dogs during the peak heat of the day for their safety and mine. I am well seasoned in body language and dog psychology so you can trust that I will be in tune with their likes and dislikes. In the future I plan to offer boarding in my home but we are working on home improvements before that is possible.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. From large breeds like husky to small dogs like Pekingese, each one has been a part of the family. I love spending time with my own dogs (2 female pits) and love making new friends. I do have a full time job but I’m also available to provide care for your pet during the week, at nights, and on the weekends. I have a fenced in back yard and both of my pets are dog friendly. I also have a crate for puppies in potty training. My dogs are walked daily and bathed often.

About: I have always had dogs growing up, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. They are a huge part of my life. I always treat them like they are family, not like they are an animal. I volunteer for a rescue and find dogs good homes for the rescue. I am always available! I will help train your dog/puppy if needed, just let me know! If you have a long haired breed, I can brush out their coat and get out matted parts. I will also give your dogs baths if you request it! If there are any allergies your pet has or things that they do not like, please let me know! I want them to have the absolute best time while in my care!
