Cat Sitting in Walton

About: I've been pet sitting in my home for 8 years for friends and people at my church, since my cocker spaniel died. Love dogs but as retiree on fixed income feel I can no longer afford my own. I'd love to spoil yours. Fenced back yard, 4 steps-approximately 30/31 inches up to back door. Most of the time they are here they'll be on my lap if they want (let's hope), I generally ask every hour or two if they want to go out. I have a patio and always go out with them in the summer, winter I usually stand on the back steps and wait. If I go out , depending on the dog, they will either have full reign of the house or I will block them in the kitchen and enclosed back porch/laundry area which is vinyl with rugs. Clients may bring crates if their dogs are more comfortable but they will have run of the house when they want. I can't walk the dogs but will make sure they go out often and play with them inside. Will consider case by case staying with your pet in your home. If your female dog is not spayed please don't ask me to keep them. I no longer work at all so am home most of the time when I have a pet. If your pet likes to ride in a car then we will go out some. I have a fenced in yard and keep a padlock on the gate. I live on a busy street and am extremely careful with the front door. I'm now completely retired and normally only leave to pick up food or for doctor appointments, etc. If the pet likes to ride in the car, I will take them with me to a drive through. About: I am organized, clean, and trust worthy. I love all types of pets! I love dogs but do not have any. I have 2 cats of my own. I have experience with training pets at home. My dream job would be training a service or therapy animal. I have volunteered at the Indianapolis humane society I mostly worked with small dogs, young and old. I am a night owl so I can let dogs out in the middle of the night. I am fit and like to take walks! I love outdoors and adventures. I know the bonds that people create with their pets, they are our children! I am young and looking to spend time with amazing animals. I have a very flexible job that I only work 3 days a week. I am in the medical field and know how important our pets health is. Pets need a lot of attention and love that I’m willing to give. Young or old pets love to play or sometimes cuddle cuddle I’m willing to do both. I love throwing a ball, tugging on a rope or running around outside.

About: My parents were pretty sure I was going to be a vet or work in a zoo! I ended doing something completely different but my love for animals is still there. I've spent a lot of time with canines, felines, rodents, reptiles, insects... and each one has been a pleasure! I believe that sharing our lives with pets makes us better people. I am very happy that mine chose me as their human. I usually work a typical 8-5 M-F but now that traveling is getting back to normal, I have heard there is need for short term home stay, overnights and just life, that happens. Happy to help over the weekends and whenever possible. We have an energetic Jack Russell and a calm but active Lab. They have totally different personalities but they complement each other. The best care is the one that allows pets to be themselves, teaching them boundaries and "manners" in a loving way. They get well fed, they go out for their bathroom breaks - thank you fenced yard! - and lots of games and love.

About: I’ve been taking care of my pets, my whole life, and I love them dearly. I would care for and love yours, just as much as I love mine. I’m currently taking morning classes for school Monday, Wed, Fri, from 8am-12pm but besides that I’m available to take care of your pets as needed! I treat pets like they are family, and I know how important it is for them to get enrichment and proper love to live their happiest lives!
