About: I've had guinea pigs all my life, and I have taken care of my friends and families dogs and cats. Taking care of animals is a huge passion of mine, and I take it very seriously I have a lot of free time on my hands and would be available anytime of the week. If something does come up on my schedule I will let you know. I would prefer to take care of your animals in your own home and would be able to stay over or check in on them as much as you want.

About: Hi! We are a family of 5 (mom, dad, and 3 girls whose ages are 16, 18, and 20) who love animals, being outdoors, and hanging out together. We are home almost every day because we homeschool. We are always walking and riding bikes around our neighborhood and love to go hiking, and also enjoy a nice evening relaxing by our fire and curling up with a good book. We offer a lower price because we know pet care can get expensive fast! We are always looking for ways to serve the community and this is one of the ways we can do it. The love and attention your pet will receive from my family is priceless! I've had a dog all my growing up life at home. We owned probably 5 different dogs and loved them all. Now my girls love dogs and thoroughly enjoy romping in the backyard. We homeschool and I work from home, so lots of attention will be lavished on your pet. My girls will always make sure your pet is comfortable! We always love to send photos! We know it eases our minds when we are away to see pictures of our dogs, so we send regular updates to you! We have a large yard with a section fenced off for quick potty breaks.
About: I've had cats my whole life, and while I've never owned a dog, I've pet sit for my family and friends on multiple occasions. And, for the past two years I've been working for a pet sitting company! It's been a great joy to get to know the dogs and cats I have met over the past two years. I also have worked in a shelter enviroment and have enxperience administering medicine and vaccines, as well as with dogs and cats with specific behavorial needs. Since I have four cats of my own right now I won't be able to house any animals in my home, but I have a car and am happy to drive to your house and take your pets to wherever they might need! I'm currently devoting most if my time to pet sitting and am willing to fit in a visit or a walk anytime, and any day of the week. I have had all sorts of animals throughout my life: chickens, rabbits, cats, goats, ducks & of course dogs, all thru sickness and health. Alyssa is an amazing person and a wonderful dog caregiver! My mom and her dog Tater were truly blessed to have had Alyssa in their lives. My mom is visually impaired and Alyssa would come at least twice a week to draw up insulin for Tater and to give Tater a good once over to make sure she looked ok, walked ok, and that she was acting normal because of the diabetes. She was also very helpful when my son got married out of town. Alyssa came to take care of Tater, feed her, let her out, give her insulin shot, and play with her. Alyssa took the best care of Tater, she became like family to all of us. My mom and Tater love her! Unfortunately, Tater is in heaven, but she knew Alyssa loved her back! We would recommend Alyssa to anyone and if the time comes that my mom would get another dog, Alyssa would be who we would call to help care for her/him! During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
