Charley can be a bit strong on the leash at first, but Maryjane handled him like a pro and clearly knew how to connect with dogs. She took him on some beautiful walks through Butte’s trails, and I could tell he got the exercise, mental stimulation, and affection he craves. I loved the updates and photos—Charley looked like he was having the time of his life. Tail wagging, ears perked, full of that goofy dog smile he only gets when he’s with someone he really likes. About: I started out pet sitting around the neighborhood as a kid and teaching the family dogs to climb ladders. I eventually graduated from the Tom Rose School for dog trainers. There I learned how to train and care for aggressive and reactive dogs to shy or overly friendly dogs. I know how to teach all household manors and obedience, tracking, detection, service task, and more. I also know canine first aid. No matter the dog, they're in safe hands. I own a dog training business, I'm home most of the day to play and care for your pets! I tend to be up at 8am and down by 11. I go on daily dog walks and have play sessions at least twice a day. I'm extremely familiar with canine enrichment as well and anything I don't know, I'm sure to do research to figure it out. I have a fenced in yard and 3 friendly (fully vaccinated) boys. All of my dogs can be crated for your comfort while your dog is out or they can play. While out of the crate, whether for play, lounging, or yard time, your dog will be supervised for safety.

I’m currently working part-time and am home with my 1 year old kiddo the rest of the week. We have a big, unfenced yard that we enjoy playing in and the dogs have plenty of space to run around! I live on 5 acres and have two other doggos to keep your pet company. The yard is not fully fenced but I do have an underground electric fence collar if your dog has been trained for those. Otherwise, we can do leashed walks. I do have an inside kennel as well if we need to separate any of the dogs.

About: I've owned pets as long as I can remember and have actively cared for my own since I was 11 years old. At 13, I began house sitting and pet sitting for family and close friends. Around age 20, I worked as a pet care assistant for a major pet retail store for 2 years. After acquiring a Bachelor's of Science in Management and a short switch to retail, I decided I needed to return to my passion. I worked as the sole closing receptionist for a 24hr hybrid emergency/ general practice animal clinic. After almost 4 years of being the first point of contact for many animal emergencies, I decided I wanted to help pets in a different way by becoming a veterinary assistant. I was fortunate enough to find a nonprofit organization that fostered my expansion of veterinary knowledge and animal handling skills for the past 3 years. My current goal is to use this knowledge to help care for local pets and give owners peace of mind while they are away. Animals I've cared for: Dogs (XS-2X), cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, leopard geckos, bearded dragons, snakes, turtles, tortoises, fish... I currently work part-time at a human healthcare facility, so I will make sure your needs and my availability coincide before agreeing to care for your pet. I will respect your schedule and rules when it comes to your pet and home. I do my best to understand the individual needs of each pet I care for and address them as best as possible in their owners' absence.

About: I have been taking care of dog, cats, and all types of animals since I was about 8 or 9 years old. I was always the one relied on to train puppies, from potty training to little tricks. I believe a rewards based training is the most optimal, as it allows for a closer bond with your pet. I can also bathe and walk your pets. I am currently a part time nanny and mother of two children. I am free during most days and offer walks for up to an hour. I live in a very pet friendly neighborhood, where dogs and cats are always welcome. Plenty of places for a long, or short, walk with parks in walking distance.

About: Growing up I always had dogs and cats to take care of. I am a current dog mom of 2 handsome fellas. Life would not be the same without them. They are family! I will treat yours as if they were mine. I work from home, so I am pretty much available whenever needed. I like to take walks on my hour lunch break or after work.
