About: I've never worked for a company like Rover but I've watched many people's pets, mainly friends of the family. My household has two dogs and 3 cats, two of the cats are kittens. I like small dogs but big dogs are my absolute favorite. I personally have a great dane who is a dork and I love him so much. We used to bread great danes so I can work well with puppies. :) I currently work part time, I work most mornings till about 10am and am free after that. I can watch animals on weekend afternoons or evenings. I would like a set schedule with someone if that works out. I have a big back yard and a very loving great dane to keep company. I also have a pin for my dog if for some reason they don't get along. Also a cat poll in my house for those who need cats watched.

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I would love the opportunity to take care of your pets when you are not able to. I myself have grown up with dogs my whole life and would pet sit my neighbors animals all the time. Now, I have my own little zoo of 2 dogs, 3 cats, and some geckos. I spent one year in a vet tech program so i know the basics of animal medicine, 6 months taking care of the marine mammals at Shedd Aquarium, and I also have a bachelor's degree in Zoology. I understand it is hard to leave your pets unattended for hours on end and stressful when you come home to an accident but they can't help it. About: I've had dogs and cats in my home since the day I was born. I've grown up taking care of our pets, as well as pets of family and friends. I will always give your pets tons of attention and love! I'm a college student with a very flexible schedule. I can largely work around your needs and be available accordingly, AM or PM and overnight if needed. My dogs sleep in my room, I feed them first thing in the morning, take them out for a morning stroll and bathroom time, walk them in the afternoon, and feed and take them out at night before bed. I also play with the dogs regularly (inside and outside), give ear rubs and belly rubs, and make sure they have water always.

Additionally, I have experience administering medication to animals and following specific dietary needs. I am experienced with daycare and boarding animals, and would be more than happy to care for your furry friend! I am available to cat/dog sit and walk for a majority of the weekends or evenings! I am pretty flexible after 4 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I had a 17 year old dog whom I administered medications and treatments for throughout his long lifespan. Additionally I have a kitten. While my dog was alive he enjoyed hugs and kisses especially after medication time! After working with him for years and the other animals at the veterinary hospital I have become used to all age ranges and medical needs of each animal (cat and dog).

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
