About: Dogs are family! Your pet(s) will enjoy playing with me and the other dogs both indoors and out. My days are filled with loving and working with dogs. Your pet will have the best possible care during their time with me. I have raised and trained Newfoundlands and adopted Mutts to love on and give forever homes to. My fenced, and groomed yard is 1/3 of an acre with lots of shade trees and lush grass. I have doggie beds, toys, and waterers both inside and out for 24-hour comfort. My quiet neighborhood is great for walks (weather permitting). I will tailor the care needed for your pet! My experience includes animal health care, bandaging, administering meds, caring for special needs pets, and training. Alternatively, I will make an exception if you wish to have your pet be the only one in my care. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! Your pet will have my full house and yard to feel more at home while they are away from their home. I request that drop-offs and pickups be between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. Just as safety was the priority with my children so is my priority with any animals in my care. I understand that they are family and need companionship, playtime, and walks, and are individuals who may need extra care, medications, or unique routines. The fenced yard is 5' high with double gates for safety.

“Jessie is very committed and dependable. She even made it to our house and traveled through terrible weather. It’s nice to have someone you can count on. She is highly recommended!!”

“We love having Kristen help us out with our dog Mae. She follows instructions perfectly and has helped us a lot with reinforcing training commands. Kristen is super punctual and we always know we can count on her 100%. It is obvious how much she really loves caring for your pet too. I would highly recommend her (and I have)!”

About: Hey, I'm Baylee! I'm currently a substitute teacher looking to make some money for the summer with petsitting. I'm new to Rover, so thank you for bearing with me as I figure out my rates and availability :) I grew up in the White Lake area and moved back last year after living in North Carolina for several years. During my first year away from home, I worked as a petsitter at Lakeside Paws in Mooresville, NC for about half a year. Since then, I have occasionally petsat and/or housesat for family, friends, or any connections through them. I have experience with walking, housesitting, and boarding dogs, and caretaking for cats. I also have experience taking care of birds and rodents and am open to caring for reptiles as well. Please let me know if you have any questions for me! This summer I am only scooping ice cream part time, so I have lots of availability for any services that you might need through Rover! I unfortunately cannot provide boarding at this time, but I am highly adaptable to new environments to best accommodate your pet's needs for visits or overnights in your space.

About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life. I grew up caring for our Boxers, Pitbulls, Dash Hounds and Chihuahuas. We also had horses and at one point a bunny. I really enjoy walking and training all sorts of animals! I'm currently working part time so I have a lot of time early in the week to help with puppos.(All dogs are just big puppos at heart.) I am very flexible and mobile. I currently live somewhere where I can't have more animals, so pet care at my home is a no go, however I am more than happy to stick to any routines your pet may have in your own home and make sure they get plenty of attention.

About: I have experience caring for neighbors dogs and love to be around them. I take pride in always being willing to expand my knowledge about breeds, different care methods, and always improving. I’m currently working part time as well as attending college so my schedule can be a little hectic, however I pride myself on managing my time effectively. I prefer as many care details as you’re willing to give, and I will probably take notes as well. I like to take walks to stay healthy so your pet will have plenty of time outside. Getting to know your pet’s unique personality and quirks is half the fun for me!

“Retia is an amazing person to work with! She has great communication, works so well with all dogs, and has an incredible training background. We know our pup is safe and happy with her each day for her walks and that gives us such peace of mind.”

Excited for an experience to hang out with your beloved pups. We live in town very close to lots of walking paths and have plenty of room for vehicle transportation. We make many trips to the beach during the week and are always playing catch. We are a very active family and would love to have your family pet join our gang. Have been around all breeds and familiarized with how they behave. Have been a part of Rover for over five years; love the community! Only special request is that times specified be held true on your end. Cancellation fees and fees for being late to specified times requested should be expected (we plan our family time around pups, please be respectful & don’t be late). Don’t hesitate to ask any questions! 😄✨ We have a busy schedule but I can ensure we spend a lot of time walking as well. The normal day walks would be alternated with when your pups need to be cared for. We have a large home with walking paths surrounding our house, we also spend lots of time outside including regular porch hangs and beach adventures.

“Sue has always shown great care to my animals: from my dogs and cats, and even my goats has horses. Sues experience and comfort with dogs is immediately noticeable upon meeting her. She is both knowledgeable and compassionate, trustworthy and honest. She even noticed and notified me when my dog daughter had some less than ideal poops (upon pickup of course, she did not bother me during the overnight dogsitting). I have and will continue to recommend Sue to anyone in need of a doggy daycare/overnight boarding.”

Deborah T.

“Deb was prompt for our scheduled walk. The dogs really liked her, and she handled them very well. Definitely will use Deb again.”

“Baylee has cared for our four pets (1 geriatric dog and 3 cats). Due to our dog’s age, we are very selective with who cares for her. Baylee is reliable, compassionate, and attentive to all their needs. They eat on a schedule twice a day and need monitoring to assure they don’t steal each other’s food :).Baylee has stayed in our home overnight for several days/nights at a time. She is trustworthy and our home has always been cared for as well. Highly recommend Baylee for your pet care needs!”

She handled dogs well on walks including my big hyper lab and my dogs love seeing her every time.”

Mason Z.
“I’ve known Mason since she was a baby and she was always was interested in animals especially dogs. As an avid reader, and then as an older child she impressed me with her knowledge of dogs, their breeds, and in the gentle training methods she had learned. She was loving and kind to all animals, and throughout the years I had dogs she showed a genuine interest in them. My dogs responded joyfully whenever Mason came over. I have no hesitation in recommending Mason for anyone needing someone to care for their beloved family pets. She is trustworthy, responsible, and reliable.”

Melissa C.
“Hello! My name is Christy and I am happily writing this recommendation for Melissa Cooper to be a pet sitter for Rover. I have had the pleasurer of having Melissa care for my two fur babies many many times. They took to her immediately, and the feeling was mutual. I know that they were cared for and loved just as if they were her own. Whether it was at my house or hers, when she walked in the door, she was the object of their love and affection. She is very responsible, honest, caring, loving and such a positive and happy person that you and your pet will love her too. She will follow any directions or rules that you ask her to and she will make sure your pet's health and happiness is her top priority while she is caring for them. If anyone is lucky enough to have the opportunity for Melissa to care for their pet, they will have found the most amazing person to help with their furry family member when needed.”
