“We have two VERY different dogs. One is elderly, does not get around well anymore, and can be a bit stand-offish. The other is young, large, energetic, and can be protective and anxious, especially at first. John was very accommodating and patient when first meeting Abby and Archie in a meet-and-greet, as well as when he came to spend the day with them. By the end of the day, he and both dogs seemed to have bonded well. John was respectful of our home, listened carefully to all of our instructions and suggestions, and followed through well with all of them. We would definitely call on John again!”

“Jenn was a hero! While on vacation my first house sitter bailed on me! Rover contacted a bunch of potential sitters. Jenn agreed to help out. She was so awesome to my 2 stressed dogs! Her communication, attention to the dogs was incredible!”

“Logan was so good with our pets. He was there to take care of our dogs. We had someone else to take care of our cats since they don’t need a lot of attention. He even took care of them too. He sent pictures every day and all our animals seemed to love him. We will definitely be using him again as long as he is still available.”

About: I run my own small business so I am flexible. I have 2 Russian blue cats at the moment, but I have always had black labs in the past. I love animals of all kinds. I run a small business, so I make my own schedule. I would work around any pet sits that I have scheduled and I’m fairly flexible. I would listen to the needs of each client as each pet comes with their own requirements. I do not live in a place that caters to boarding, so I am only offering pet sitting in the client’s home.

“Taryn was great with my two pups. I had to leave town on a few days notice and she had no problem with that. My dogs really seemed to like her. She was great with communication and kept me updated the whole time. I would recommend her to anyone and will be using her again in the future!”

“Dana is extremely reliable! We recently moved out of town and she was still willing to occasionally come out and watch our boys. It means a lot to us to have a consistent sitter for the dogs when we are away!”

About: ive been taken care of animals since i was young. I offer to care for the pets so the adults can have a night out. animals of all ages, puppies-kittens to elderly animals. i love watching each pet grow and have fun. i learn a lot from them as they do from me. and depending on weather ill travel with them to a local park to walk or run around without them running off. i am currently in the military one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer but it never stopped me from my passion of helping out when i get the chance to. holidays i can work with. a certain holiday is very special to me. I cant wait to work with animals and love it every day make sure each pet goes outside and gets there paws and bodies moving so they don't get stiff. feed them according to a schedule/ routine. pills will be giving according to there owners care guide. bring them to the vets or emergency vets if giving permission to do so. let the pet come to me and let them get to know my sent before i rush into to pets. talk with the owners to know where there items are and what is expected of me while they are in my care. lots of love and cuddles are important along with rewards and letting the pet have there space to relax.

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. Thanks :)

“Hayley is amazing. She pays very close attention so she noticed quickly when one of our cats wasn’t acting normal. She got him help right away. She always takes great care of all of our furbabies!”

“Talitha completely exceeded my expectations. She is responsive, caring and treated our pets like her own. Even my very slow to warm up rescue pup loved her. Rates are very restorable as well especially since she lives 30-35 minutes away. 10 stars are deserved 🙂”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I never had a pet of my own until I met my former partner and he had a deaf Australian Shepard and I fell in love with her. A year after that we rescued a mix and named him Archer and he is the most loyal, loving dog I’ve ever met. I’ve also helped take care of my sisters mini poodle on and off for about 3 years so have experience with big and small dogs as well as deaf dogs. I work full time currently Monday through Friday but pet care would be something I can do in the evenings and weekends, while also spending time with my own dog. I have plenty of paths and places to walk dogs near my home and my complex has a dog park to play and use the bathroom

About: I have 3 rescue dogs at my house and in the last 18 years have had 9 dogs in the last 20 years. I have volunteered and raised money for local rescues and am an avid walker. I love walking and I love dogs. It’s always nice arriving back home with a nice happy and tired dog ready to relax and take a nap. I have a large fenced in yard and my dogs go for at least 3 walks a day for exercise, no matter what the weather is.

About: Hello! I am a huge animal lover. i’ve been responsible for watching both dogs and cats since I was young! I have experience with many dog breeds, ages and sizes! I am currently doing work online so I am able to give your dog all of the love and attention they need, whenever they may need it! Safety will always be my number one priority! I will also treat your dog as if they were my own. Can easily crate if needed.

About: I’ve cared for a multitude of dogs and cats and other critters including my own families, and family friends since I was 10 :)) I would LOVE to watch over other fury friends and offer your pets relaxation and comfort while you do the same! I currently work part time at a local mini mart, and part time from home as a writer, i keep a tight schedule with work and that includes pet care priorities I have a safe, decently spacious, private and comforting apartment in a duplex home with acres of land surrounding the properties, so the pets boarding here have lots of room to play, and relax :))

About: Along with being a certified veterinary assistant and working in the field, I, myself have been taking care of my own animals for nearly a decade! Including but not limited to, fostering dogs of all ages and breed, and rescuing pretty much every cat I come across (We're at four and counting!). I have trained experience in administering medication and senior pet care. It's important to me, as a fellow pet parent, that your furry friend is in great hands in my care, giving you peace of mind while you're away. Currently, I am relocating to East Ridge, TN all the way from New York! While in the process of looking for a full-time position, I've decided to join Rover, which means my availability is wide open! Don't fret, I plan to still offer my services even after finding something long-term. My services will be strictly offered in my client's home, as my animals do better without the presence of other animals. If provided with detailed instructions on what works best for you and your pet, I will be sure to follow them to the letter.

Gretchen S.
“I can’t say enough good things about Gretchen as a pet sitter. She’s watched my dog, Lily several times now, and every single time I leave my pup in her care, I feel completely at ease. Lily can be a bit shy with new people, but she warmed up to Gretchen right away. It’s clear she truly loves animals—she’s patient, gentle, and somehow manages to make Lily feel like she’s on a little vacation of her own. I’ve come home to a happy, relaxed dog every time.”

“Katrina is fantastic. She goes above and beyond to take care of your animals. Over the years she has taken care of our cats and our dog. She knows they need different things. She is reliable, prompt and caring. She knows what she is doing and the animals seem to really like when she shows up, with our without treats. There should be no hesitation to use her. M. M. B.”

Patrick S.
“Pat is a kind and responsible person who you can trust to take excellent care of your “best friend “. Pat recently lost the rescue dog who was his companion for the last 13 years. While not ready to replace Buddy yet, he misses having a dog in the house and would be happy to care for yours while you’re away. Pat has watched dogs many times over the years for family members and neighbors who needed his help. He will play with, walk, and keep your dog company. I’m sure your dog will love staying with Pat.”

She takes Archer for walks almost every day, gives him tons of love and attention, and always makes sure he's happy and healthy. Her dog is so well cared for — any pet would be lucky to spend time with her!”
