About: I have had 3 puppies in the past 3 years and one elderly, sickly dog that I help take care of, and watch a family friend's dogs, by walking and feeding them whenever they need me to as they take multiple trips throughout the year. Very flexible as watching pets is something I do on a daily basis with all 8 of my dogs requiring attention. My schedule also fits the needs of future clients and what special needs they may insist on. I would go directly to my clients home's in order to keep their dogs in a safe and comfortable environment to walk, feed and watch them as needed.

“I met with Lauren, last minute, on a Monday afternoon. She and Penny, Cheagle (Beagle/Chihuahua mix), became fast friends. Lauren has been stopping in to take Penny for a walk and give her some dinner in the early evenings a few days a week when I work. Penny likes her visits with Lauren and is her silly self chasing bunnies etc. Lauren sends me pictures and updates on her after their visit. Whether it’s drop-in visits or walks, boarding here or house-sitting, you can feel relieved that your home and family will be in the kindest of hands. About: My name is Emma and am a recent law school graduate working in Ithaca. I grew up in Vermont with ducks, goats, sheep, chickens, cats, and dogs. As an adult, I love ANY AND ALL animals! I regularly run and hike (but I'm also not opposed to just vegging out). I regularly care for my parents’ German Sheppards. I have owned dogs that are super social and dogs that do not like other dogs. I feel confident in my ability to handle almost any size dog on a leash. I have experience handling dogs with mobility/spinal injuries, dogs that require in-home rehab such as water therapy, dogs that have issues with incontinence, dogs with anxiety, and more! About: I grew up with big dogs and currently have an 11-year-old black lab mix. I know how to get a puppy to go outside, and I know how to stimulate a senior dog that can't go on long walks. I would love to meet your dog and make them as comfortable as they can be! Your dog will be spending a great deal of time with me and Brisco, as we're both home during the workday! We like to go on long walks in the middle of the day and hang out outside enjoying the sunshine. We have a great deal of space for the dog to walk around inside, and a fenced in backyard for them to explore. We also have access to a creek in the 14 acre Christmas tree farm behind our home, where they can go on long walks on a leash with us and Brisco!

About: I have always had a dog. I start training them from puppy hood and love them until they are gray. Humans truly don't deserve dogs. I'm currently working part-time with an extremely flexible schedule, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I like to be able to have dinner with my partner and her teenagers, but I have availability during the day and at night. I have a puppy, Gnocchi, who is 6 months old, very socialized and loves other dogs of all sizes. We both have lots of energy for play. If your dog is crate trained, I will be happy to crate them for meal times or nap times if you prefer. If I come to your home, I will ask for your instructions and follow them to a T. If I come to your home for a drop-in, a walk or house sitting, Gnocchi can either join me or stay at home. This will be up to you.

About: I’ve loved animals all my life. I have a very vivid memory of fishing with my father. We caught a fish the size of a silver dollar. Thrilled to throw it back my father stopped me and proceeded to cut the fish up for bait. I cried for so long that day. Looking back it’s pretty funny that it stayed with me. Presently that experience reverberates through my life in small cries during commercials featuring animals doing sweet/sad things, and big sobs in the theater when one is lost on screen. I’m an owner of 2 cats. Both are very sweet. One is more curious and the other more apprehensive (he hides when we have other animal visitors). I’ve raised 3 dogs and have fostered once before. I’ve worked at a Veterinary Clinic back in Texas and have experience with giving oral medication as well as subcutaneous injections. I give 2 shots to my own twice daily so I’m very familiar with it. I go to school full-time and I only live 7 minutes away from school! My classes during the week are usually 3 hours long with at least 3 hours in-between classes. Friday through Sunday my attention is all to your fur baby. I have a small open yard with a leash anchor so your pet can enjoy time outside with a sense of freedom and supervision during outside time. There are trails close to my house for walking and our small neighborhood has a 30 mph speed limit. If your pet is crate trained I can accommodate a crate in a large well lit kitchen or an equally well lit cozy upstairs bedroom. Either way under supervision your pet has full access to my couch and home to be as comfortable as they need. If they require smaller spaces my bedroom (cats not allowed upstairs) is free to roam as well. No human food is easily accessible in the house due to my own pets’ dietary issues. I’m happy to communicate most times of the day through text or app for updates on your loved one.

About: Hello, My name is Monique. I currently have 2 dogs of my own that, I only just realized have officially entered seniorhood. I currently work at a local vet clinic here in Ithaca so I am also up to date and knowledgable about different breeds,foods, treats, and everything cat and dog! Ive been pet sitting and walking since the age of 13 Which has helped me learn all about caring for animals at all ages. From 4 weeks up till seniority, I can do it all and love every minute of it. Taking care of animals is something im extremely passionate about. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry(or feathered or scaled) friend! I currently do work full time and have 2 kidsof my own; and my work schedule does change from week to week but with a little bit of planning, im able to make most things work! Never be afraid to ask if you dee something and are unsure if im the right fit for you! Rover inly lets me specify certain details. I take all safety precautions, double leashes, prong collars(if provided), harnessed walkes, anything that YOU say works best for your pet, I am doing. I dont like to take the risk!

About: I love animals of all kinds! Dogs are my favorite. I like them more than people. I had a Weimeraner for nearly 15 years and I miss him everyday. Dog sitting has been very theroputic for me. Im not working at this time. I'm out of work until further notice do to a repedative motion injury to my right arm. I am available Monday- Friday. I live in an apartment house located near a school. I have a back yard but it is not fenced in. It's a very nice area to walk dogs.

About: I've always been a dog owner since I was a young girl. I would watch/ walk my neighbors and family's dogs whenever they needed me to. I am Thorough and patient especially when it comes to our furry friends. I have a pretty open availability to care for your pups. I do work, but mostly from home. I am able to put plenty of time into your furry friends. I live in a community with plenty of sidewalks. I have a small little front yard and backyard as well. I plan to give your dogs plenty of attention and play time.

About: I’ve work with my mom at her dog grooming salon since I was 11. I’ve dog sat for family and family friends for many years. I personally like animals more than people. I work at a dog grooming salon from 9am till when ever the last dog is done. I will be able to leave and check on your pups or even bring them with me to work we have plenty of rooms and cages if they couldn’t play with the other pups. I do bring my cat to work with me so if cats are dog friendly they would be able to come too I have very well trained dogs so they stay in the yard, I do stand outside and watch them. I dog sit for many people and I am more than happy to clean puppy pads, use a leash and walk them or anything necessary

About: I've had years of experience caring animals as a pet sitter, veterinary technician,shelter volunteer as well as pet mom to many fuzzy, scaly, and feathered friends. I'm a mother of school aged children and I have a very flexible schedule including day,evening,and weekend hours. Short notice requests can usually be accomodated. I'm very comfortable reading animal body language. I have a very people/dog friendly dog who loves to join in on a walk if your dog would like the company.
